I was blown away by the service, precision, expediency, assistance, AND price of working with Baraboo RadioShack on this project; I walked in on a Saturday, talked with Austin about the specific games I was looking to be able to play on high quality settings, gave him my price range, and 3 weeks later already have a perfectly constructed, spot-on gaming PC that meets all of my needs. On top of that, I'd hit a couple of snags due to my inexperience, and reached out on Facebook for some troubleshooting tips; within an hour all questions were answered -- and this was past closing time!! It is so rare nowadays to receive such above and beyond service. We went twice, both to look for a new phone and switch onto my husband's phone plan. The staff are really friendly and energetic, especially for it being the end of the day. Both team members were very knowledgeable and helpful but also didn't put any pressure on us to get the more expensive models/plans or buy every odd and end in the store. I've loved U.S Cellular already for years, the plans have changed over time and all of our questions were answered. Very bright and clean store. It is nice that they do have a giant variety of phones for your price range; from a basic $8/month to a techy $60/month. Any cons? When we bought the phone, one of the newer expensive ones, they only had one in stock and since I needed it right away I had to get the only style they had....bummer. Also, it's frustrating that most phone/computer stores don't have many of the the actual phones on display to play around with. Who wants to look at a plastic cutout? I understand that they want to show off the newer, fancier camera phones but not everyone can afford those and people deserve to try the ones they can. Did an online intake, received a phone call Christmas Eve morning to confirm everything. Great updates and proposal before providing a method of payment. By 30 Dec my replacement drive with 99.999% of the recovered data was in the way back to me. Do know if they needed clean rooms or the level of effort needed or the time required. Just know they took a inop drive and got the data off. Just like an lawyer, dentist, pilot or doctor sometimes you pay for experience and in my opinion it was worth for 30 years worth of files. While I hope to never need their services again, they are the only ones I would trust my digital footprint too. While not inexpensive you are paying for their knowledge and experience. If is was so simple and fast then you could do it yourself or maybe hire the "neighborhood geek" or you could pay the experts to professionally recover your important data. While my choice may not be the best for everyone glad I paid Gillware to do it. However, we will be installing a RAID 5 NAS as part of our new 3-2-1 back up plan.

A wedding is not something where you could just schedule a retake, and it was a really heart wrenching phone call I had to make to a bride and family. I felt so unprofessional and like a failure for this poor client. They were so kind and so gracious to me, and I am forever grateful for the kindness they extended back to me when I told them what happened. They truly made the best of a very crappy situation. It has been so stressful, but I'm breathing a HUGE sigh of relief this morning because I received an email from Gillware Data Recovery with a sheet of thumbnails of the images they were able to retrieve from my card with a very long, tedious, and expensive process. It is worth every penny to deliver on a promise to a client, and a reminder that double writing on a backup card camera is worth the hassle and expense during irreplaceable moments. They said they only had one iPhone 15 screen in stock. I had to give a "deposit" for them to order another screen and the back to the phone. Then they told me they wouldn't get the stuff in till Tuesday. I ended up getting my screen fixed in the mall that next day. Even though the mall quoted me 100 dollars less then this location, I held out bc I left a deposit and had them order the back of the phone. When I went in on Tuesday after work the salesman was annoyed that I had already replaced my phone screen. I explained that I couldn't wait the 4 days bc I have young children and was able to fix that right away at the mall. He made me feel bad and said they put a crappy screen on and that I should try to return it lol. Then after I had previously paid the man $520 for one phone screen and the back of the phone he had to order which cover the cost of both per the attached receipt. He charged me $78 dollars for service. Never once was that mentioned before hand and he did the repairs then told me about the additional money. I felt swindled and he was rude. I will never return to this place. Like it was my fault that the I fix iPhones place could get a screen replacement for 4 days LOL shady shady shady
