I went in for a phone problem that ended up being an issue with ATT and was immediately given the hard sell that my phone was too old and I needed a new phone even before she looked at it. (4-5yo IP13) Even after we found out it was an issue w ATT I still kept getting the high pressure you need a new phone sales pitch. I have previously had good experiences in this store. read more

I cannot send or receive messages from some of my contacts. I also cannot get verification codes. The other phone on my plan works perfectly well. Prior to today, I have been on the phone with tech support for literally hours over the past few weeks and AT&T cannot fix the problem. I went into the AT&T store in Auburn, CA and they would not help either. They actually told me to go to Best Buy and ask the Geek Squad for help. I just got off the phone with tech support again and I was told my problem is unfixable. Great, now what. AT&T is taking absolutely no responsibility. I will be moving my services to Verizon! read more

If I could give negative stars I would!! I went into the store to add a line for my daughter's phone. The line was added and I was told I HAD to have the insurance there was no way for the ASSociate to skip the $17.00 a month insurance and I'd have to call in two weeks to cancel it. Well I called and was told that is absolutely incorrect. If you say no that's it! He lied and added it to TWO phones. Shady business practices. Do NOT go to this store and save yourself a hassle and money! read more

Shit service and shit attitudes - zero help on a complete phone failure after 6 months

We went to the store this morning. There were two other customers in the store. Jake was extremely happy, respectful, patient, courteous and helpful. He took his time (without over explaining). explaining clearly everything to an elderly woman. Showed her how to use a store phone to call her husband since her own phone wasn't working. Spoke to her politely and not at all condescending He managed to help all of us quickly and thoroughly. I wish his manager was there so I could say what an outstanding employee Jake is!!!! read more

I was tricked by Randall into thinking I was paying for my new phone in full when I paid cash plus my incentive to switch to ATT. He let me walk out the store with both phones and NEVER explajned in order to receive my incentive the old phone had to be returned to the store within 15 days. No follow up calls or emails from them to check on the old phone to me. They just added it to my bill. Do I ever regret going into that store and signing up for service, which is awful. My phone constantly cuts in and out when I try to make phone calls from my house. No customer service from the staff, his manager.who didn't believe me and the Dustrict Manager. read more

Called to get information about a product, the representative was rude, sounded annoyed, and was no help at all. Overall the actual company is great but the people working in the store are some of the worst employees I've ever talked to. read more

I had visited the store to upgrade my phones. I had purchased the phones along with accessories then heard about Verizon offering FREE PHONES AND APPLE WATCHES. I called customer service after I had purchased the phones and accessories to see if they could match or offer a credit. Customer Service with AT&T informed me that I need to return the phones to get a credit. I did. The sales rep in store told me that I won't be reimbursed for the screen protectors for the phones I returned. That is $100 worth of accessories that isn't returnable? I wouldn't go to this store for help. In the process of returning the phones my notes and messages were lost. The people that work here do not care about you. Try your luck either online or a pre paid service. My experience at this store felt like I was dealing with used car salesman. Completely dissatisfied. Missed the Mark read more

Mina was awesome! So helpful and fast at getting ya set up! Helped us set up a new line and transfer a line over so fast. Plus she got us the discounts we qualify for too read more

Paul did an outstanding job helping us with our phones. The staff truly takes the time to help from start to finish. This is a great AT&T wireless store who has been our provider for the past five years. Thank you Paul. read more

I will never come here again. I worked with the store manager/owner and he completely lied about the charges for adding an iPad to my account. He also promised me I would have specific resources that I never had access to. He never told me about the account activation fee and my bill was almost double what he told me. He's just another sleazy sales person. AT&T has big customer service problems. I've been a customer for over 20 years and I will be looking to make a change ASAP. read more

Aviod this location! Shaun has no people skills, customer service skills, or tech skills. Shaun also thinks that you are dumber than him and will continuously lie about what is wrong with your device until he can get you to buy a new phone. I fixed my phone service in 3 minutes thanks to 3 easy steps I found on google, no thanks to shaun. Shaun also messed with the settings on my phone while he was pretending to know what he was doing, and now I'm gonna have to fix that too. I believe in standing up for the people, please dont let Shaun swindle you into buying unnecessary phones, plans, etc. He literally profits from his commissions by lying straight to your face. Good luck! read more

My mom and I went in to upgrade our iPhones. They were pretty busy so we stood there to wait. A guy (who later said his name was Vinnie) came up to us to help. He starts talking to us then just walks away back to what he was doing. He kept coming back and leaving, saying he was helping someone on the phone with their SIM card. When he came back again my mom said, you're done with what you're doing you can help us now and not leave right? We decided to get the 14 pro and then he said they just had a black one out of the safe so he had to wait for the safe to be opened. He said it'd take ten minutes. My mom had a cane that kept falling on the ground. She folded it up and he said put it on the table put it on the table! Really rude like he was telling us what to do. My mom asked how much an iPhone cost in total if we paid full price. He just kept saying "it's $15 a month." I also wanted to change my number because we recently moved back to this area and I wanted this area code and he said to do that I had to have a whole new account! Opening the safe apparently was taking forever. He kept going into the back but not coming out. He was in the back for awhile and my mom was starting to get a headache so we just decided to leave and come back another day. As soon as we get in the car to leave, he comes running after us with a phone in his hands. My mom said ok all we want is to get the phone and that's it. He only had one phone and it wasn't the color we wanted. He said that's all they had and we had to order them. He completely lied and said they had two phones and knew we wanted two. Then he starts ordering them online for us when I could just do that myself. We didn't want him to do it. We said again we'd just come back. He said when he worked again and gave us his number. He was extremely rude and it seemed like he only cared about making his commission. He also kept trying to get us to buy accessories saying if we bought three or more it's 20% off. We didn't want to spend $100 on stuff. We just wanted to upgrade our phones. It really got us in a bad mood going there. We're never going to that At&t store again. We'd rather go to Best Buy. My mom said it was the worst service she's had in a long time. The guy was terrible with customer service. read more

Rude!!!!! I walked in to make a purchase of at least $1k only to stand there 30 min with no greeting from anyone, including the store manager. When I asked how long I got "no idea." I will be writing to the CEO and escalating. In a day when businesses are struggling to survive this is unacceptable customer service. She refused service because I said it's professional to not greet your customers. Do not shop here! Not a kind helpful place!! Not one employee greeted and again a store manager no less. read more

This place is horrible, in my experience. When I went in to get a new phone, I went three different times, and was told three different things each time. The first time they said the phone could not be paid off all at once, the second time they said it could, so that is when I got the phone. On that same second visit I was informed that I could get a wireless charger for my phone and another accessory for my phone for $40. I agreed to that deal, but when I got home I saw that the charge was $80 and they did not give me the right type of charger. They gave me a plug-in charger instead of the wireless one that I asked for. The third time I went back to resolve the issue, I was told that I already had gotten the charger despite it not being the one I wanted and the situation with the price wasn't even addressed. The employee was dismissive since he wasn't the one that sold me the phone. I was having an issue with my texting service since it was sending phone texts through my email to some of my contacts. The employee did help me resolve this issue, at least. Still, this is a horrible business, in my opinion. I hear that they are privately owned, and not actually owned by AT&T, they just are certified to provide AT&T services. I actually got Yelp just so I can give this business a low rating, because they were that bad, in my opinion. I suggest going to the real, AT&T store in Roseville, despite it being further away. I detest this business. read more

Please start teaching your youth. It's really not hard. Be nice. Greet the customer as they come in...even if you're with a customer. Identify easy tasks vs. ones that will take a long time. While your current customer is entering info, move from your safe bubble and check on others...that is called multi-tasking...it's helpful when taught to employees. As a owner/manager of this location you have two choices...hire more people or properly train the ones you have. I promise you your sales/ROI will be worth it. The retail experience is dying...the experience for most customers in your shop is part of the reason why. read more

The other AT&T store near Starbucks had great, helpful employess. I recently took my phone into this new store and was greeted, wait not even greeted by two employees who must hate their job. The most unhelpful people. Shrugged his shoulders like he had no clue what I was talking about. His female partner was a waste of time also. I will not go back to this useless store. Wish I knew who owns it so I could let them know personally how lazy their employees are. read more

I came in to the AT&T store in Auburn to see if a newer phone given to me could have the data transferred from my current, Much Older phone. First, I was greeted the moment I walked in, and approached promptly. I explained what I hoped could be accomplished. The immediate, 'let see what we can do' attitude of Alan was pretty impressive. What followed was his complete attention, only interrupted to greet incoming customers. He transferred Everything over a fairly short period of time, and while he was doing that, I was able to observe the other two staff members. Every one of them were friendly, courteous, and when a customer had to wait for a moment, they continued to communicate that'd be with them as soon as possible. I did not see One single customer appear to be frustrated. I can only commend this store, and most especially Alan, for courtesy, professionalism, and efficiency. I'm impressed. read more
