AT&T, this is beyond frustrating. Your posted hours online say you open at 10:00 AM. The sign on the door also says 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM. I arrived here at 10:00, and now it is 11:05 and the store is still not open. What makes it worse is the phone number listed for this location is just as bad. Sometimes it automatically hangs up, other times it rings with no answer, and then hangs up again. That defeats the whole purpose of having a store number if customers cannot even reach anyone for basic information. If the store is going to be closed, delayed, or opening late, at least put a notice on the door or update the hours online so people are not wasting their time sitting outside waiting. That is basic customer service and basic respect. Even UPS just showed up and no one came to the door. They are literally leaving things outside because no one is here. This is exactly why people get frustrated with AT&T service. Bad phone support pushes people to come into the store, and then the in-store experience is just as bad. Treat your customers better. Update your hours. Respect people's time. read more

We've been consistently using this C Street location since 2010. I imagine these stores will phase out soon. Anything outside of a straight forward purchase, you are directed to facilitate your own help online or through AT&T customer service. I thought this was an AT&T store with AT&T Customer Service agents....but apparently not. AT&T doesn't have nearly enough salespeople in their Anchorage stores. Whereas a few years ago there were too many, now there are so few you generally have to wait upwards of 30 minutes to get waited on. I got smart and now I only go to AT&T in the middle of the work day so I don't have to wait so long. I do always get good service, it just requires patience and planning. read more

I've been using this at&t store for years. I've always had minimal wait times. The staff has always been pleasant and easy to deal with.

Showed up at 7:15 and was told we only have 2 service reps on duty and probably won't be able to get to you before we close at 8:00pm. The rep was nice enough but AT&T NEVER has a problem charging my bill regularly to my Credit Card. The problem always occurs when I need service regarding one of the four phone lines we have on our plan. I will seriously be investigating other options for our family plan. First by reviewing the service ratings of the competition. read more

I have used this ATT store approx 4-5 times and they have consistently been professional, pleasant and helpful. Tonight their employee David went above and beyond and it was past closing time. Having gone to other local ATT stores, this one is by far a hidden gem. read more

In twenty years in the sales and customer service business, this is the absolute worst case of unprofessionalism and total lack of sales ability that I have ever seen. This store needs a manager that is on site and paying attention. In the 45 minutes that I was there, only one customer service rep served more than one customer, she served 4 customers, I was the last, she was professional and efficient. The three other reps were incompetent, unprofessional, and had attitudes to boot. If I were managing this group, I would fire the three unproductive reps, and keep the one productive rep, after all she did more work than the other three put together. I loathe this AT&T store. If this were Monty Python I'd curse them with a pox. Unfortunately for anchorage, this is one of the few locations open before 10am on the weekend. But just because they're open doesn't mean the staff are actually awake and working. We were the second customers in the store, only two employees working and it's been over an hour since we arrived. Still no service. If you need help, wait until after 10 and try a different location. read more

In January I went to the ATT store to help my mother get a new phone. After talking with the sales person, we decided on a "$1 no contract" phone. Simple right. Guess there is no free lunch with ATT. I have called them at least once a month for the passed 7 months and explaining that they are charging me $45 a month for a free phone. Today, I finally think I have her bill corrected. At one point the "free phone" had cost her an additional $120 and me hours on the phone talking to them. I'm not sure how they train their people, but they really need to work on it. Several times a representative has said they would correct the problem, you wait for the next bill and nothing has changed. So you call in again and go through the same process month after month. All the while they are arguing with you about how they are right, because the don't have free no contract phones. And to top it off, even though I have disputed the charge each month and worked with them to address the problem. They charge a late fee for not paying their overcharge. Nothing like a little salt in the wound!! ATT SUCKS read more

I guess AT&T has an eye for hiring dumb salespeople, their service sucks, and if you have any issues with your phone, you are out of luck , never had a good experience with them. read more
