I went to the AT&T store to transfer my data and activate my phone. Unfortunately, Jon approached us with a very rude attitude and implied that we should just do the process ourselves instead of offering assistance. Because of his behavior, we decided to leave without receiving any help. This was a very unpleasant experience. His attitude was rude and disrespectful. One of the employees he's a white male with long hair he was the worst. In a bad mood and added hidden fees to be exactly 40$ of a protection plan we didn't ask for. Then we went back and told him to take the charge off and he said he didn't but we called customer service of AT&T and they said that he didn't take it off. This location deserves zero stars. The staff at this store removed their "mask" and showed their true behavior. They were rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional when dealing with customers. I was even threatened with having the police called on me simply because I was trying to explain my situation and understand why AT&T was overcharging me. I've been there twice to get my prepaid phone plan switched to a post paid plan and both times they've turned me away because supposedly they can't do it in store. They gave me one number after another for ATT service. After speaking to 4 different departments, they all said it couldn't be done over the phone and that I'd have to go back to the store. I explained that I had already been there twice but that didn't seem to help. I just tried visiting another store and they were able to do it in under 15 minutes. go figure!! read more

I recently switched over from TMobile to AT&T. Geon went above and beyond to assist me with switching over my service. My current phone was completely dead and we were unable to receive a transfer pin on my phone, so Geon DROVE over to the TMobile store and had a manager use a phone there with my SIM card to generate that pin. HE DROVE OVER TO A COMPETITOR TO HELP ME. If that is not extraordinary customer service, I do now know what is. read more

I went in to the store a few days before Christmas, right after my children's father passed away, unexpectedly. I spoke with Jesus Huerta. I explained my situation to him, and I was an existing customer with cell phone service and home Internet for many years. I was hoping to be able to give my kids a much better Christmas then I had previously planned, or that I could previously afford. He said they had many deals going on, that would help me make things a little better for them, considering they had just lost their dad. Jesus informed me that not only were all of the newer model iPhones on sale, but they had a BOGO promotion on all other devices. I thought my 15yo son would love an Apple Watch and my 12yo would love a new iPad. Considering they were BOGO, I ended up getting two Apple Watches, a cell phone, and an iPad. I specifically asked Mr. Huerta multiple times how much my monthly bill would be, because I am a single mother, and always have been (even when my kids father was alive. he was unable to financially support them). So, taking on a new cell phone bill and all these devices was a big deal for me. Every time I asked, with my mom next to me, he said my bill would be around $200 a month plus taxes. That's including all the charges for the data plans and devices that I was purchasing. Basically, he said that my bill would be double what it was now, and my monthly bill was $123. (that's for an $85 premium unlimited plan that I never asked for and God only knows what else to get it to $123, just as a side-note).. I thought that was reasonable, so I went with everything he suggested, and was extremely grateful to be able to give my kids a decent Christmas. My account is now suspended, because I have a past due balance of $686 for one month of service. I had a payment arrangement for my last months bill, before I added these devices and it was due yesterday. When I went to go make the payment today , I expected to pay the $123 that was past due and the new bill of approximately $250, give or take. My account is suspended with a total balance over $1000.00. I was told by Jesus that my activation fees also would be waived, because I am a loyal customer and have been for years, and that was not the case. I spoke with an online agent and was told that the activation charge on each device purchased that day, would be removed from my account before the 1st billing cycle was complete, and they were not removed. He just kept adding to my bill and piling devices up on the table. He said the watches were going to be $14/month total. The iPad would be $10. He completely misled me, and now myself and my children are without phone or Internet service because we cannot afford to pay the $686 minimum, to restore the service. He lied to me, he took advantage of the fact that I was distracted, and grieving, and he piled on everything he possibly could. He padded my bill as much as possible, and kept telling me everything was no extra cost, because of the promo. The monthly bill was going to be a little over $200. I think this is a deplorable. I think it's shameful and disgusting, and he should be ashamed of himself for doing this to somebody in my emotional state, or anybody for that matter. Unfortunately, because their father's death was ruled a homicide, I have not had the time to go and check every single part of my bill, which I have to do over the phone, because when my account was initially set up with AT&T, it was done incorrectly, and I can't access it online. I can only chat with an agent on the website. He really screwed me over bad. Not just me, but my kids, as well. I have been with AT&T for years! Now I have no choice but to switch all 5 devices and our home internet to to T-Mobile or anybody else today. I don't have a choice. I have to have a cell phone and everybody at the billing center, over the phone, is telling me there's nothing that they can do, because the salesman is the one who misled me and lied to me. Do not buy from this store, because it was not just Jesus that was misleading. There was also another employee there that seemed like she was his superior, that he kept getting approval and information from. He kept asking her if he was correct about how much the devices would be on my bill, as additional costs, and she just went along with whatever he said. This place will scam you and leave you screwed, with no choice, but to go to another carrier, and they don't care because they got their commission! I'm stuck as a single mom with 2 kids, and I have to go purchase all new cell phones and devices. This will ruin my credit, since I'll owe the full balance of $1000, plus all the additional fees after I cancel! He should be ashamed of himself, and he should not be allowed to sell anything to anyone. read more

My son bought a brand new phone from AT&T in Brookfield WI. in January, we are on a family plan with 5 of us and have been with AT&T for many many years. He paid off his brand new IPhone 14 pro. My husband and I looked into new plans at other carriers. We went to Xfinity where we were about to transfer all our phones over. 4 out of our 5 phones were able to transfer. When they tried to transfer the new phone, they got an error message that AT&T blocked that phone and could ONLY be used on AT &T phone lines. (I thought that was illegal) so we were unable to transfer our family plan. Xfinity said they had nothing to do with this that we had to go to AT&T. So I went to this AT&T store on Randall in Algonquin. Of course they could not help me. You have to go through this 800 numbers where you are calling somewhere over seas and can barely understand them. At least 5 phone calls to various 800 numbers and at least 7 hours of my time over a few days I got no where. Each person I spoke with said they would look into it that they would call me back. They took ALL the information down, they even gave me a case number. No one ever called me and each time I called I had to repeat my entire ordeal, no such notes ever existed. They told me it was not their error it was xfinity. Do each company blames the other and we the customer have no resolution. AT&T would not take the phone back because it was over 30 days, Xfinity could do absolutely nothing. We even tried Verizon. They had the same AT&T blocked line issue. There is absolutely no customer service any more. So very sad. Companies save money by out sourcing phone calls over seas and NO ONE can help the customer. I realize this is ALL major corporations in America. They ALL outsource and we the customers are out of luck. We ended up buying a brand new phone to replace a brand new phone and changed services. I contacted the better business bureau as well. I assume nothing will come if that either. I remember a time when a customer was always right and companies did any thing they could to help the client. Unfortunately that us no longer the standard for this country. While they did have to contact my work to release the phone they were much more difficult then my phone guy at work ever experienced. Very arrogant insisting they were right and I and my phone guy were wrong. Thought they might try to help with a deal for screen protector and they refused. Was told when I called att that my contract was up so I decided to take my business else were after being with them for 17 years ....when I called them to cancel and I asked what my finally bill was they told me $3.99 then I get an email from them today for 378.38 so I called them they are now trying to tell me that I wasn't outta contact and I must pay for the phone I talked to a rude person named Dax that was kno help what so ever plus when you cancel your phone att locks you out of your account so you cant even go back in and see if you are or not or what they are trying to charge for!!! I have visited the store a number of times over the past several years to upgrade my phones etc. Usually I got decent service. This last time not so much. I went in to take advantage of the buy one get one iPhone 8 ..My daughter and I got there about 7:30 PM they close at 8 PM. Unknowingly because my new phone had increased in gigabytes there was a glitch in transferring over my information which took over an hour to get the job done. I literally felt myself having to say sorry about the situation as clearly the staff was very displeased with myself and my daughter. A bunch a young men on their phones looking bored and very unhappy with the fact I came in to spend $1000 at the end of the day. The next day I came in to return a couple accessories I bought as I found them cheaper elsewhere. I made the mistake of paying cash for those items and 10 days later I still don't have the money back from that return ( it will come in the form of a check ) . In other words, never use cash (what was I thinking ?!). It is not King here. $150 gone - poor treatment and a phone that's blacking out a week and a half and I was just told I have to go to Apple for the warranty. No thanks. I'll never come back here again. Would NEVER recommend this store. Particularly if you're a woman and you're paying cash. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. read more

My all time favorite ATT store! Customer service is excellent! I was at Best Buy yesterday and was going to purchase a Zagg glass screen protector because I noticed it was cheaper there than ATT- I was completely ignored by all the Best Buy employees and when I finally caught a mobile sales associates attention and asked for a screen protector installation- he rudely said "there's a 7.99 service fee but yeah I can install it for you. " I've been going to this Best Buy for years and now & NEVER charged a fee. With the price difference of 8.00 I decided to leave and head over to ATT, where I purchased a new apple case and zagg protector and had it installed in less than 10 minutes with a very skilled and polite associate. Major trouble with the phone they sold us - blamed us for purchasing a cheap phone and would not work with us to resolve the problem at all ( At time of purchase they told us this was the best phone.) . I suggested paying the difference and getting the better phone but they wouldn't do that either I guess replacing the phone 3 times in 5 months wasn't enough for them to warrant helping us out.
