Now both the original person and the person today confirmed that it was free and no charge cause I asked the person today and he said yes there's no charge at all ever. So I had to call back 55 minutes later because it would not connect. It was red and the lady made a comment that it was free for the first 90 days and then I would be charged and I told her that's not what the first two people said and she said I'm sorry but after 90 days there's a charge I said send me a label and I'll send it back. Mediacom cannot get their story straight and they cannot keep the Internet connected. I've had a cable running from one house to two houses down outside of my house for the last three months. It's ridiculous. They are the worst Internet cable service in this country.

Each time I go to the Cox Communications store on Bayou Blvd, I am immediately greeted by an employee and taken to a work station and asked how they can help me. I explain my current modem situation, and without hesitation, they take it and go to the back and give me a new one. They verify my account and that it is me, and explain how to set up the modem (which is super easy with the app) and I'm out the door and on my way in about 5 minutes. Last time I was there, they gave me the newer model of the modem and waived the fee (as they should, since I didn't break it, lol). I'd recommend this store if you need equipment replaced.
