    My bank was double billed for my bill. Overdraft then $36 bank fee. Repeated Again. Another OD $36…read morefee. Then $25 dollar unauthorized charge for Mediacom insufficient fund fee. Then another $36 OD bank fee. THEN another $25 Medicom insufficient fund fee AND ANOTHER $36 OD fee!!! I went to office. They are nice. Boss Julia has not called me back after 5 days. She has copies of all and was to "figure out" how to correct. Notice these are unauthorized charges to my bank account. Mediacom is responsible. I WILL BE reimbursed. This is embarrassing!!! Truthfully, I can't wait till Spectrum rolls into Gulf Breeze. I call Mediacom every other month with billing "errors". There is either embezzlement or an interesting computer glitch. Tech calls and operator assistance?! Huh? I have to just laugh b4 I scream...

I called today to be assisted activating it. Now both the original person and the person today confirmed that it was free and no charge cause I asked the person today and he said yes there's no charge at all ever. So I had to call back 55 minutes later because it would not connect. It was red and the lady made a comment that it was free for the first 90 days and then I would be charged and I told her that's not what the first two people said and she said I'm sorry but after 90 days there's a charge I said send me a label and I'll send it back. Mediacom cannot get their story straight and they cannot keep the Internet connected. I've had a cable running from one house to two houses down outside of my house for the last three months. It's ridiculous. They are the worst Internet cable service in this country.

    This review is for the Bayou Blvd location store and the employees there, not Cox Internet quality…read more I have been through many Cox modems as they stop working completely or start overheating and giving sporadic internet (ethernet and WiFi), especially after storms. Each time I go to the Cox Communications store on Bayou Blvd, I am immediately greeted by an employee and taken to a work station and asked how they can help me. I explain my current modem situation, and without hesitation, they take it and go to the back and give me a new one. They verify my account and that it is me, and explain how to set up the modem (which is super easy with the app) and I'm out the door and on my way in about 5 minutes. Last time I was there, they gave me the newer model of the modem and waived the fee (as they should, since I didn't break it, lol). I'd recommend this store if you need equipment replaced.

Cox has the least reliable network in Pensacola, Florida. They have no idea how long their system will be down during an outage. The company issued a notice claiming the service would be back within an hour, but that was 9.5 hours ago, and the network is still down. A different company installed fiber optics in my neighborhood last week. I'm switching to them, and I suggest you do the same if you want a dependable network service. Honestly, I think the tin cans and string I used as a child had better service.
