    Router stopped working, during a Cox internet outage. Went to the Cox store and they gave me a refurbished one. Got home and tried to set up after the internet outage hours later. Router will not set up, called tech support and after much back and forth the tech guy said there is a problem with the router. Lesson is do not use Cox if you have another option.

    I have never been treated so rudely as by the staff at the Cox store off Bayou. Cox service is both bad and costly-go somewhere else.

    I moved to Florida called them up paid $40 got cable-Internet. Five days later my bill is $238! Due in 20 days.... I cancelled.

    Very Greedy company. I tried cancelling my service yesterday. Waited an extended wait time,…read more because they make you talk to someone. No other streaming services does that, you can just cancel by the click of a button. They want you to talk with someone so they can try and talk you in to staying. I have had service for four years now. The rates were constantly going up, for what they call market changes. Yet when you call to cancel all of the sudden they can get you a better deal if you stay. I got tired of waiting yesterday, but wrote in my chat box to cancel my service. After waiting a radiculous amount of time, I responded I expect my service to be cancelled and that I am leaving and I would not be back on to respond. So just cancel my service. Someone did com on line eventually. They saw my request but didn't cancel my account. Instead my bill was charged for renewal of service on a new card I received. They should have not had on file. It had recently changed from Marcus to Barclays and I had to approve the charge as the account had to be reset up. I contacted direct and they refused to refund the amount. After 30 minutes of arguing with the representative she was all of the sudden able to give me a 50% refund. Who also by the way kept trying to give me a better deal to stay. After she gave a 50 discount on my bill she Then disconnected the conversation for no further discussion. I was not able to argue any further. This is a greedy company. Twice the cost of any other service. They have lost a customer forever. You can bet I will spread the word!!! My internet is next to cancel. I have same company.

    --------0 stars. So I'm sitting here watching the last 30 minutes of a 2 hour Dateline and NBC goes…read moretotally black. Then I switch to ID and it's freezing up and buffering. This is a shit show. Extremely poor service. I've been dealing with this for too long and pay too much money for unreliable and second rate service. I'm switching to YouTube TV tomorrow.
