*PICTURES ARE TWO WEEKS GROWN OUT*…read more I stopped into Mon Cheri a couple weeks ago to get a full set and Naz did a fantastic job! She was detailed and took her time and my nails looked absolutely perfect. The pricing is very reasonable for an e-file manicure. A couple weeks later I was bit by a dog, causing a nasty chip through the hard gel. I went in for a repair and was done in just a few minutes. They even rebuilt the nail to match the length of the rest of the set, so it looks as though the break never happened and all of my nails still match perfectly. Mon Cheri is a cozy studio with manicure stations on one side and pedicure stations on the other. Popular/top 40's tunes are playing in the background at a comfortable volume, and the staff are all very friendly and welcoming. Be sure to try the complimentary french chocolate and coffee!

I've been coming to Sapphire Halsted for many years and when I say I love everything about this place, I mean it. I love the bright space filled with art, fun music videos and chill vibes. The talent is unmatched. The techs keep the convo flowing when I'm feeling chatty, and don't press me when I just want to zone out. That's big for me. I've never had a bad mani, but IMO, Gala is the best. She meticulously removes every last shred of cuticle (and not in a way that hurts or makes my nail beds angry and red) and applies polish with such care. You can tell the owner takes great pride in his business because of the effort that he puts in to hiring great people and keeping the place looking nice. I always leave feeling relaxed and my nails looking amazing. I've never had a bad experience here and I look forward to visiting Black Onyx for years to come!
