I have also purchased custom made suits. With that being said I've looked for and found a talented tailor who can meet my every need. I purchased a linen suit on-line which was a huge mistake, as it was unwearable and I needed it for my daughter's wedding. He worked his magic taking fabric from wildly over large pants and inserted them in pencil thin jacket sleeves. It wasn't cheap, but it was a Herculean job. The tailor was completely professional and performed perfect work on a difficult, intricate dress! As you can see by the photo, there was a lot of detail/lace in the dress and he altered the top of the dress so it fit better. I rarely visit the tailor but the fit of my bridesmaid's dress was all wrong, so I decided to give it a go. I picked Astron Tailors because they had fixed a pair of jeans for me back in 2021. The quality of work was great with my jeans, as well as with my bridesmaid's dress! I wish I had read the reviews before I walked into Astron Tailors. The tailor I usually use (Hedis--who I love) was closed and I needed a dress altered in a hurry. The owner was so rude and condescending I actually walked out of the store not knowing if I would be able to find another tailor to alter my dress in time. I just could not bring myself to give him any business. Thankfully I did find another tailor open late tonight and turns out they quoted me half the cost of the $90 he wanted to charge me to take in the top of a strapless dress. read more

The owner was extremely rude. I called first to get price range for alterations on single panel sheer curtains and when I went in he said a completely different price that was much higher. When I told him what they quoted he acted so arrogant and dismissive. I left and went to Hedi's on Center ridge and got the alterations done for 1/3 of his price. read more

Victor, the owner, was very rude recently. My last few jobs completed by his place have not been up to par. I'm short of stature and go there mostly to get my pants shortened. My last few leggings were still a little long. The jeans that he says he is the only one there who does them were terrible. First of all, one pair was too short for me, who is 5 feet tall! Then, I wanted him to take the legs in to make the legs less baggy. He insulted me to my face by telling me afterwards that he couldn't take them in anymore unless I was two sizes smaller! My son was there and even asked him while I was changing why he was yelling at his mother! I will not be going back there again. He always complained about time and money everytime, anyway. He complained to me that day about how this was wasting him time and money! I stopped him there and told him I've heard him say it before. My recommendation is to find another place. His prices were always outrageous anyway. read more

I went in to have a bridesmaid dress hemmed and brought in. The owner was professional and kind. However after going through measurements he quoted me at $115 which was the cost of the dress. I mentioned that and he said to go buy a smaller dress then because this was the cost of this type of work. I went to another tailor the next day that for the same work they charged less than half his quoted price. I would recommend shopping around before paying these prices. read more

Astron Tailors is under new ownership. The old owners were so kind and thoughtful. The new owner - not so much. Actually I found him unpleasant and arrogant. When I dropped off he acted like I was an imposition to him and when I picked up he was even worse. To the point where I will never be back nor will I ever recommend him to anyone I know. They did not charge me an arm and a leg because I was desperate. Fair and quality work. I will only bring my alterations to Astron tailors from here on out!
