It seems like people reviewing here are not even having experience living at Aston. When there are only 5 or less people moved in yet since it was a brand new property, I myself alone moved in and lived one year for 2B2B. I didn't even use one of bathrooms and one bedroom was used to store my boxes. Aston Management team with Clara was always there to help solving issue whenever something comes up. It's always fun chatting with her. And they came up w lots of creative events for residents. I'm gonna miss them!! I left the unit super clean w professional cleaner and now is waiting time for them to come back w my deposit. There are rumors that you won't get your deposit back if living in Greystar Properties but we will see how Aston team does their job. I still have my friends living there, so would definitely stop by the office to say hi and thank them all!! read more

I went to go for a tour and I met Eric who was very knowledgeable and professional. He also is friendly and easy to talk to. No hard sell. Just showed me 3. Units and gave me a good tour. The apartment complex is very nice and fairly new. It is well maintained . It has nice amenities like pool, Gym, clubhouse , resident lounge. It is a nice place to live. read more

Greystar is predatory and they don't care about their tenants. This property is located in the ghetto. Theres the bus terminal on one side and trailer parks on the other . Across the street there's German shepherd dogs who bark all hours of the night , I put the complaint into the city officially and nothing was done. I blew through two white nose machines and almost had a nervous breakdown . They bark when people pass by or when nobody is passing by , they're barking : 3, 4, 5 in the morning . It penetrates through earplugs. Neighbors don't hold doors for each other . Rude tenants doing whippets and drugs and forget to run water off flooding the hallway . Whippit cans in the garbage rooms with people bug eyed stumbling down the hallways about to fall over . Cars were broken into , electronics stolen from my Range Rover the same day I bought my car and brought it home , some thief (who probably is a tenant too) ransacked the vehicles. Where was security ? People will park in your assigned spot and no tow truck will come get the car until the leasing office calls . If you park outdoors your tires will get slashed . Bums wander around the upper garage checking door handles to see if any cars have been left open . The company locks your door automatic . If you lock yourself out it is a 150$ lockout fee . But they quit opening the door for us . Now we must contact locksmith . They don't let you choose to lock your door automatic . it's not a choice . Management Meli Romo came into my unit the week I rented it with a tour of people ... while I sat on the floor do my apartment home .... The door flew open and there was people looking at me inside my home . She said sorry but why did she come inside the rented unit ? She had just told me to take down my window dressings the week before . They will not allow you to cover your window , or put items on your balcony. They threaten to terminate the contract . So I take my beautiful windows down and then she walks into my home while I'm naked with people standing there staring and gawking at me !!!!! They offered to let me out of my lease early , but I have already moved out and they've sent me a move out bill , saying I need to pay back concessions . I was told by the manager WHO WALKED IN ON ME I COULD LEAVE WITHOUT PENALTY . This includes paying back concessions , I leased the week I toured . Those were the requirements for the free month , why should I pay back when they VIOLATE MY PRIVACY !!!! The leasing office staff is nice enough , Clara and Vanessa are great and friendly , I honestly feel bad to put this review but I'm pretty upset that I'm still being charged money when I've already left which I told them send it collections. I hate greystar and they will not connect you to corporate and pigeon hole you on site and tell you , YOURE STUCK IN AN UNSECURED APT WITH NUISANCE DOG BARKING AND DRUG ADDICTS WALKING around the building exterior LIKE ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE AND THEN THE NEIGBORS ARE ALL WACKED OUT RUDE and on drugs and won't say hello or hold the elevator for you !!!! THIS neighborhood has no walk score. You will drive everywhere. Dining is NASTY, very few good places . there's road kill whenever you go drive anywhere , bc the way these people drive and the way they treat animals , this was the number one reason I left , I couldn't take seeing the animals in the streets. the worst neighborhood I ever lived in and I feel sorry for anyone who rents here . Theres also an airport close by where idiots fly overtop the roof and you'll hear the planes pass by , or the traffic of Santa Anita. Or crackheads screaming in the streets , or dogs barking all hours of the night . While you lock yourself out every other week at 150$ a pop or whatever the locksmith charge and how long it takes for that to happen for him to come . Make the key. You're already an hour or tow later and out $150 !!!!! . Imagine getting ready for the day and being in hurry , leaving your home for the day, or taking out the trash , or going to the pool , and the horror when you realize your keys aren't on your pocket, and the door slam shut and you can't get back inside !!!!!!. Kind of like the neighbors slamming the for in your face instead of holding the door for you . This is Aston at gateway , where the only time anyone opens the door for you is when they violate your privacy and a crowd of people sees you in your home in your underwear !!!!! read more

Arrived for a tour with my family. Sat outside, no one answered the call box. The phone number listed has an automated system that answers and says they will be right with you, then asks to press 1 to continue. Press 1 and it goes silent and hangs up. Very unprofessional. And a waste of my time. If this is how you treat potential new tenants, then you probably treat your current tenants poorly as well. read more

I toured the community with my girlfriend and had the pleasure to see it with the aid of Vanessa. We have been looking around at new luxury apartments and these were stunning. Recently toured this place and was shocked at all the amenities they had in the building. I'm looking for an apartment building with a gym and this one was really nice and clean. One of the workers Vanessa gave us information on the different prices for each apartment and even some good eats around the area since I told her I was a big foodie! This apartment complex is really nice! It's very modern with a nice gym that has a decent amount of equipment, a nice community lounge with a coffee maker and appliances, a communal work space, and a salt water pool. My partner and I did a tour with Clara and she is extremely informative. She's great at answering any question you might have and very professional and kind. The apartments seem really spacious with updated appliances and all the units have in-unit washer/dryer which is so important. Clara is great at understanding what you prioritize for an apartment such as what kind of views and lighting you want. Another plus is there are monthly communal events. It's also conveniently close to the highway which is a big deal in LA and also right next to the metro if you choose not to drive. Overall, lots of positives! read more

Absolutely beautiful!! Clara was amazing!! Clara helped my daughter and I with the tour. She showed us the beautiful 2 bedroom with all new appliances and pretty open kitchens! They have a lot of natural lighting. Bathrooms are really spacious and bedrooms are a decent size maybe a king size bed might be too snug. They have a nice gym and a great common area room. I don't actually live here however I did take a tour as I am currently looking to move. This is an awesome building. I took the tour w Clara and she was very insightful. She showed us all the amenities the Aston has to offer as well as a bit of information about the area. The pool is nice although I do wish it was a bit deeper. Just save your money and go elsewhere. Your life will be much much better somewhere else! I really wanted to enjoy living here but I think it's important to talk about what's really happening. -2-3 car break ins inside the GATED underground parking lot in the last 3 days & management has not done anything to prevent this from worsening! Safety is a huge concern here. We need to secure parking. Ex, parking security patrol & more cameras in P1! It's very stressful to live in fear of our cars getting broken into everyday. -Leasing office will treat you like royalty before you move in but turns a 180 after you sign your lease. They don't care about you, take ages to reply to emails, are not helpful, and send threatening messages with rude comments. However, not every leasing staff is rude and inconsiderate. There's someone specific that's universally disliked by residents. -Residents are always being watched on the cameras. -Parking is very very limited. If you have an electric car, you basically won't be able to charge it on site. There's only a couple of EV parking spots and they are all booked- you have to get on a wait list for those spots. Aston at Gateway is such a beautiful and luxurious property. I loved touring especially the spacious apartment layouts and the amenities. The assistant manager, Clara, gave me a very warm welcome and put my mind at ease by helping me figure out which apartments were available and best suited for my specific needs/wants in a way that did not feel routine but more like I was talking with a friend who had the advice I needed and a clear way of explaining the leasing process. This building had everything I could ask for. A clean new gym, large pool, and they even have new washer/dryers in the apartments! I was exiting Santa Anita when I saw this new building recently and since I'm in the market I decided to give a call to check them out. I spoke to Clara and set up a walk through. When we arrived she was so sweet and very knowledgeable, patient and answered all my questions. The building is beautiful and the pool looks AMAZING, all the amenities looked so clean and top notch.
