Definitely a 5 star review - I was referred by a neighbor and couldn't be happier with my experience. The estimator came out the same day I called to give me a quote. He brought a full size example so I could see the product. After I ordered a second employee came out to to take the final measurements. Both employees were friendly and respectful. The final installation was quick and the end result is amazing - better than I expected. Best part is the upper shutters cut down the afternoon sun and the rooms are so much cooler during the day. We had our shutters installed during Covid and even like that they had them done in a fair amount of time. 4 1/2 yrs later one of the panels had a broken staple and they were great with handling the situation. They sent someone over the very next day and didn't charge me the technician was great fast and polite thank you guys for the great customer service. read more

Do NOT use this company. We purchased 2 shutters; one for the dining room and one for the living room. After a while, the left panel on the shutters in the living room would not close all the way. We called Assured and they sent out a guy named Tom to inspect it. He said the frame of the shutter was not initially installed properly. He removed the entire shutter and re-installed everything. When he was done I asked how much we owed him and he said we owed nothing because 1) it was installed improperly in the first place and 2) we had a lifetime warranty. Less than a year later, the left panel starts to not close all the way again. I called Assured and sent pictures of both where the panel was hitting the frame and also where the panel was separating at the bottom right corner. Without even sending someone to our house to inspect the panel, we were told it was water damage. There is absolutely no way it could be water damage. The window is nowhere near any source of water and as far as I know, we have not had any fog, rain, snow, sleet, or hail inside our living room. It does not share a wall with a bathroom, nor is it near plants or a waterfall. I wish I had the kind of vision Assured seems to have to be able to inspect and diagnose a problem from 50 miles away. We were also told we do NOT have a lifetime warranty. If we wanted the panel inspected it would cost $100 for every time they came to our house, and would have to pay for all repairs. Needless to say, we are going to use another company to fix the living room shutter and also install shutters in 3 remaining windows. Assured needs to have a staff meeting so everyone there is on the same page regarding warranties, etc. Apparently, once they have your money, they don't care. Not installed properly? Too bad. Not working properly? Too bad. Blame it on mysterious water damage and start ringing up charges and prices. I will certainly let everyone I know to steer clear of this company and spread the word. We got all of our common living spaces and the our entire master suite done. Dan is prompt at responding. If you provide measurements, he'll give you a quote via messenger or text. He quickly scheduled to come out to show us samples and measure for the order. We got them installed about 6 weeks later. We got a great price and are happy with our new window treatments. I am very happy with what the Assured Shutters has been done for me in the last couple months. First, I found Mr. Dan ads on Facebook marketplace. I contact him for an estimation. I have to tell you that he gives me the great price ever because this is a factory directed, so there is no middle man sharing the profit. Therefore, I chose him to do for my plantation shutter for my house. I have to wait for 3 months for the installation since the first estimation because they are busy during COVID's time. It is a bit worry because we have to deposit half of the total amount. That's the company policy because it is customized items. Besides that, I am totally happy with the Assured Shutter company did for my house. I highly recommend this company to everyone else who think about installing the shutter. Second, my house becomes much cooler during summer and nicer after installing the shutters. The temperature is completely controlled by it. Moreover, it is so easy to clean. P/s: With the old house style windows, there is extra wood design under the frame, remove it before installing the plantation shutter. RUDE,RUDE, RUDE. Dan the sales rep/ owner. Had an appointment for a Tuesday, he showed up on Monday a 1/2 hour earlier than what was made for Tuesday. Had appts.elsewhere on Mon. hence the Tue. appt. As we left our home Dan was parked at bottom of the driveway and proceeded to tell us we were wrong in a not so polite way. Just a rude man who lost at least $2500 worth of business. read more

This isn't a professional business and doesn't care about making customers happy. I will not refer anyone to them and they didn't care. They never gave me many options from the first appointment. I had to call back to find out how many inch were the shutter, asked if they had clear view so changed that. Asked for one panel not spilt panels. Didn't even install what I asked for and didn't care once I got home to find it not what I ordered. Also left a mess at every window for me to clean up after they left. So not profession. The sales guy not owner called back and could only offer me a small portion of money back for their mistake. Could not make it right with what I ordered. I do lots of business with client and refer lots of people in different fields but they will not get that from me.
