Dropped the car off on the appointed day, and was picked up by Enterprise car rental shuttle to pick up a rental car. Nine days later, just one day more than original estimate, returned the rental, got shuttled back to Kanata Collision to pick up my car. The car was beautifully repaired and also beautifully washed. Since the damage was completely covered by insurance, there was no cost to me.

The XPEL prime CS would have been $269 plus tax but I prefer the ceramic. Their service was excellent and they did a fantastic job. I had gone in the day before and spoke with their staff just to get a quote and they came in less expensive than some of the places out there. After speaking with they installer, they seemed quite confident that they would be able to do a good job. When I picked up the car, I got it back cleaner than when I had dropped it off - I think that gave it a quick wash? I don't know but it looked really good. They recommended that I not open the windows till the install had cured and even took the extra step to put a sticker on the window buttons. Overall- good experience and happy with the work!

Three of my cars have been tinted by Auto Trendz and I highly recommend their work. HOWEVER, be aware... should you have issues with the tint after a number of years (6 years in my case), you will discover quickly that AutoTrendz is not a certified LLUMAR installer... which means they will not HONOUR the lifetime warranty on the product. Basically after 6 years, big bubbles started to appear in the rear window on my car... so it appears that the adhesive is failing. This SHOULD be covered by warranty as the product has a lifetime warranty... but all AutoTrendz is willing to do for me is to offer a discounted rate for removal and re-application... of $200. $100 for removal, and $100 to re-apply. Shocking considering I paid $300 in 2015 to have the ENTIRE car tinted. I contacted LLUMAR directly and that is when I discovered that only one or two places in town are authorized LLUMAR installers and AutoTrendz is not one of them.

I thought any body shop that was "insurance recommended" wouldn't necessarily be the best, but this place was fantastic. We dealt with Tyler, who I believe is the owner or manager of this location. From the very beginning Tyler provided exceptional customer service, getting in touch with us right away when he heard from the insurance. He got us in for an estimate and even gave us an estimate on another part of the car that was damaged (unrelated to the accident). He explained everything and arranged for a rental car pickup for me while they worked on my car. The service was very fast, and the work was completed a day before expected. When we arrived to pick up our car not only was the bodywork pristine (I couldn't even remember where the damage was!), they also cleaned our interior mats (which were quite gross from the winter), and the dash was spotless. Such a thoughtful thing to do! Tyler also spent some extra time chatting with me about the other damage he gave us a quote on (a tear from a snow plough) and gave us fair and honest advice. Should we decide to get this fixed, or if we have any other bodywork to be done we will absolutely come here. Fast, quality work and excellent customer service!

(With a police report #) Just personal insurance for me. I love my vehicle. I need it. :) I called my insurance Co. but alas, no discount but things are changing. I believe this will be mandatory in all cars soon as the thefts have been on the rise and continue to be. Many, if not caught on time are sent overseas in containers out of Montreal. No thanks. That said, the theft rings are in all cities so it pays to prep for the worst. (I pity the fool if I catch them stealing mine but the hospital/ambulance review then, pending!!!) LOL! My vehicle already had TAGS installed at one time, only good for five years. The windows still have the etching on them, 'TAGS' but I was still charged the full amount of the install/etching. With tax, over $460. Ouch. But, I made a little afternoon of it as there are places in the plaza to visit. On the phone making an appointment, they may tell you 2 hours is needed but mine was done in less than 1. I guess it depends how busy they are. I dealt with Kevin over the phone and in person and he was great to deal with. I'd recommend coming here and getting your car protected unless you have a hooptie that you don't care about or if you already have a 'new car GPS'.

Save the headache and go somewhere else.
