Literally everything is breaking in the house . Coffee maker, chairs, dining table, sofa...etc. Within the first 30 minutes in the house we had noticed over a dozen issues, most notably, not enough parking, no pack and play as advertised (so we have had a screaming baby doing their best to sleep on a bed), fridge doesn't make ice, as well as lack of air-conditioning in bedrooms. The house was burning hot when we arrived so no one slept the first night. They WILL NOT call you on the phone, they defer to bots, AI and texting to communicate. They promise to fix the issue and and then nothing happens. Extremely unprofessional and aggravating. We have children with us and it has been a nightmare, unfortunately. The property is beautiful, so it's a shame that all these issues bring this down to a one star.

I sent an email to Amanda at red door requesting financials and explaining the issues with my mother and why I was taking over my mother's account. My mother also gave them express authorization to speak with me. Apparently Amanda is extremely threatened by anyone who is strong and assertive as represented in all of the reviews I have read and her responses. She also refused to communicate with me and continues to demand to only speak with my elderly mother. When my mother let her know she would file a complaint with the Idaho attorney general, Amanda threatened her with legal fees stating we would be submitting a fraudulent complaint. Poor Amanda needs some education in addition to manners and accountability. Making a good faith complaint to the IAG is not fraudulent. It is very clear that Amanda likes to bully homeowners and when she can't bully them, she resorts to threats. I have no doubt that she will respond to this in her typical keyboard warrior way and deflect, lie, and throw her temper tantrum. Amanda is a nasty person who is clearly also a very unhappy person. How sad and pathetic that she wants to bully an elderly lady unable to defend herself. Your attitude speaks volumes as do your responses. I look forward to the day this business is taken down and truly hope I get to play a role in that as intend to reach out to anyone and everyone to file a complaint for her discrimination against the elderly.

He changed his payment system 3 times in 3 years, stressing us out with his setup mistakes (his system once spam-texted us at 4am that we were 3 rent payments late), then charged us a late-rent fee when our bank's autopay didn't recognize his newest system. He ignored damage reports we made months in advance of our move-out, and then kept the vast majority of our damage deposit to pay for them. And he charged us for painting, cleaning, and trash-hauling services that were either not mentioned in the lease (e.g., "We will schedule the carpet to be cleaned after the house is cleaned" -- no mention of this being on the renter's dime) or based on the flimsiest of excuses (e.g., "dust on the top of a doorframe: $200"). (WHICH MOST PEOPLE HAVE) SCAN FOR INFO THEY CAN SELL TO ADVERTISERS. I could never recommend them just for this one policy/ recommendation/ requirement. People have managed to accurately verify others' identities and histories without predatory and risky personal info practices for DECADES, and still can if they actually care about their neighbors and not just themselves and the owners. And are background checks done on owners? They can have violent histories as well, even if they have money or property, and be a security risk to their clients, and they have access to their HOMES AND BEDROOMS. And just because you CAN raise the rent hundreds of dollars upon lease renewal on a long-time years long tenant (that long because they pay on time and are good tenants) and up to the "market rate," and just because it is good for the owners' pockets and yours, doesn't mean its best for OUR COMMUNITY/ COMMUNITIES. You'd know if you spoke to even a couple of the single people, single parent families, other families, and elders, who I personally know, let alone the stories I just hear about over the last 5-8 years, who have been made homeless for months or even a few days or weeks because there's no concern for raising the rent in more reasonable increments that people might possibly be able to absorb over time... and keep being good and happy tenants! And boasting about 50,000 per year increase for landlords who don't actually care about their neighbors as themselves isn't a good look, especially when rents have TRIPLED in some cases in just 5 years... before that they were pretty stable/ rose maybe 5% a year on average for many years prior to that. But then at least you seem to actually repair things that aren't legally mandated, like the A/C when it goes out in mid-summer, unlike other common property owners I know of, so I gave another star. It's disheartening and downright infuriating to see so many people have moved here in droves from elsewhere, CLAIMING to embrace "conservative" values and then go on to clearly be ecstatic to just "get theirs" like almost every other "liberal" ever (I put both in quotes because apparently neither means anything such as truly caring what our Creator wants or what our fellow humans need and what benefits us ALL to build one another UP and to bear with ONE ANOTHER'S burdens so we're all stronger and more capable and resilient). I've been in multiple positions so I recognize comeuppance, the eagerness to gentrify and "make better" while actually pillaging (hello Garden City and Eagle and Kuna most recently) what used to be a state and communities that were a TINY bit affordable, especially for single moms and elders In particular. Regular people (also made in God's image though!) Could be your aunt or cousin, if not your child or parent. or do you think you and yours will never experience health or government problems or that your savings will never be drained or stolen by a desperate health challenge or divorce or abandonment or death or other person or a desperate government that's run up trillions in debt for us all while claiming they're needed and even doing God's will?

I have to use one of their two "service" options that is of no service to me and I'm forced to pay money in order to pay money, ridiculous.
