Eventually he said ok and we went out to the pump. Meanwhile my girlfriend had given up and moved to another pump. So I tried to use that one. It said see cashier. I guess that's reasonable since it was the third dip I'd done at the station and my card company was probably suspicious. The cashier had disappeared so I went back in again. Now there was a long line. A new cashier was working. Then the cashier I talked to came back in and I told him what happened. He said I'd have to pay inside. I said but now there's a long line. So he went to a second register and I thought he was going to let me pay since I'd be having quite the gauntlet here. But no - he said next in line. I gave up in disgust.

And dear lord, the employees absolutely reek of body oder and are visibly dirty. They serve food, this is absolutely a violation of health standards. I will be calling the health department. The card readers don't work. The tap function almost never work. So paying is a nightmare. But don't mention anything -- or they'll yell at you about "how they just work here." Okay -- well I just don't shop here. I couldnt possibly recommend this place less. There are two more Shells within a mile of here. Use the one on Myrtle. It far superior.
