I have been seen by Dr Bangert for many years. I come back as needed. I had my body checked today and all went well. We went over a few concerns and he treated some skin tags on my neck today. Overall Dr Bangert is wonderful, patient and thorough. The office staff are always kind and helpful. The office and rooms are always clean and tidy. Highly recommend. read more

This review is about Dr. William Booth. He did not inform me about a very negative, life changing side effect if I stopped taking a medication he had prescribed for me. I stopped the medication and I have been in a nightmare for over a month because I did not know about this side effect and it will affect me for God knows how long, maybe for the rest of my life. When I confronted him about it, he looked me in the eye and said we had discussed it. It was a big, freaking insult. We NEVER discussed it, other wise I would not have stopped taking the medication. He gaslighted me and tried to smooth talk his way out of it. My life has changed completely because he did not do his job and warn me of this very very negative consequence of stopping the medication. I hope this review follows him to Texas where he is moving to at the end of the month. read more

This is the 4th dermatologist I've seen in so many years. The other 3, well let's say, I felt like an inconvenience because I wouldn't purchase the products they sell. I decided on trying Associated Dermatology. One quick phone call and I had my appointment set. I went in, filled out my paperwork and was promptly taken to an exam room. Dr. Booth came in, introduced himself to me, and shook my hand. I was hopeful I found my people. After a quick assessment of the concerned area on my forearm, Dr. Booth felt it was worthy to remove it and sent it in for pathology. That was promptly accomplished and he said that I would get a call back within a week with results. Before I left, I made an appointment to come back in 30 days for a recheck and a full body inspection for any potentially cancerous areas. Three days later, I got a call from their office saying that the results had come in for the area that was removed. It had tested positive for basal cell skin cancer. The doctor had scraped and cauterized the area, so no other procedure needed to be done. On my next appointment the doctor was very thorough and looking me over and I brought up an area that I had a concern about. Dr. Booth said he doesn't take chances so he removed that area and burned off 10 areas on my face. Again, a few days later I got a phone call but this time my pathology report was negative. There was no cancer cells noted. I have found my people, Associated dermatology went above and beyond with their qualitative care and their compassion for their patient. The office staff is top-notch and very professional. You would make a mistake going anywhere else. read more

I have been seeing dermatologists at this practice since I was a teenager with acne. (That was a long time ago! ) I have always had great care, and I would recommend Associated Dermatologists for medical skin care. read more

We have gone here quite a few times, and in the last year their notification system has been crazy. 1. email reminding you of appointment, (confirmed) 2.. two phone calls reminding you of your appointment AFTER you have already confirmed 3. Two more emails.......I have contacted them about this and "it's our new system". Well fix it. Dr Hud was horribly rude because we complained about it, and when I called, the receptionist hung up on me. So I cancelled my appointment also. There is no excuse for this kind of business practice, and Hud is a jerk. He is old and needs to retire. Not recommended anymore. read more

I was a patient of Associated Dermatologists for 12 years and was always satisfied with the doctors, staff and facility. I have a history of melanoma and they always insisted that I have a skin exam every six months, which I did. Then about a month before my last appointment, I received a letter that they would no longer be in-network with my insurance. The letter stated that if I wanted to keep that appointment i would have to sign a form promising to pay whatever they wanted to charge, regardless of insurance. This effectively ended our relationship. I understand business decisions but that decision should have been implemented in a patient friendly fashion. The other dermatologists that accept my insurance are currently scheduling 90+ days out. This makes it impossible to maintain the every 6 month schedule that they had previously said was necessary. I can no longer recommend this practice. read more

I was able to get in very quickly and the doctor was fantastic. I was able to do my entire body scan (skin check) and she needed to take a biopsy and it was all done in less than an hour. The front staff was very polite and helpful. The office was clean and above all the medical assistant and the doctor had a great bedside manner. I would definitely recommend this office. read more

My problem with this office is office staff. My problem is I keep being billed for a co-pay which I paid, with a credit card, at the time of my visit. I have called and I have written a letter informing them that I have two receipts (office receipt and a credit card receipt) showing that I paid my co-pay. I have asked them to acknowledge my letter and calls and they never reply but just sending bill's. This has been going on since Jan. of this year. I know physicians try and distance themselves from this type of problem but let's face it their name on the door and their business. Obviously, they never read their own reviews. Perhaps more exposure on social media may help the doctors recognize that their staff are dropping the ball. read more

Dr. Zech is great. Very conscientious and takes his time with you. Very thorough. Unfortunately he has moved to Healthy Skin Dermatology. I am following him there. My low rating is related to the records staff. I have left two messages regarding the transfer of my records and gave not received a reply. It has been about ten days now. Very poor patient service. I am glad that Dr. Zech went elsewhere. read more

Made an appointment over the phone, showed up on the day, and SHOCKER, they didn't show it, only another appointment I had made for next year. The main receptionist I dealt with couldn't have shown less concern, and it took another receptionist to apologize. They got me another appointment for later the same day, but I had to ask the receptionist what time, as she didn't even volunteer to tell me exactly what time the new appointment was. She then repeated that the only appointment she had shown was the one for next year. Yes, I KNOW that's all your system shows, but I made the other appointment also! I've had better customer service at fast food restaurants. Horrible. The Doctor and the other staff were great, but if your initial experience walking in the door is negative, it puts a damper on the whole experience. read more

I understand that a booked appointment can be 3 months out or more. But when an existing patient has to reschedule and is told it will then be another 3 months? And, as appointments typically take 15-30 minutes on average, that's just plain wrong. When the scheduling person was told I wouldn't reschedule another 3 months out the with Dr. Bangert the reply was , "Oh, ok". Taking my business elsewhere, to a dermatologist who appreciates my ongoing and loyal patronage. read more

I dislike writing poor reviews, but feel this is necessary. I had been a patient of one of the doctors here and always felt the treatment was sub-par on the following counts: 1) my 2-minute routine skin check seemed to be a random price every time. As a self-pay client, it was frustrating to not know what the visit would cost. I'm talking only about the routine skin check, no other procedures were done. 2) I had been a patient for many years and skipped a couple of skin checks, and they wanted me to pay the new patient price that was $100-$200 for a 2 minute visit 3) the exam environment was a bit unpleasant and embarrassing. For a whole-body skin check, one must strip down to nothing but underwear -- no problem, but there was no gown offered, the room is quite cold, and most importantly, the exam room I got every time was at the end of a busy hallway, and when the Dr. opened the door, there I was, nearly naked, in full view of basically every one in the hallway. A little disturbing to be so naked making eye contact with strangers in the hallway. I discussed this several times, but no change. In closing, I found a much better doctor (see my review!) that has fair, reasonable pricing, a gown is provided, and no strangers saw me in my underwear! read more

I have always had great care here. Dr. Bangert is thorough and efficient. I have recommended them to multiple people.

I've been a patient at A D for perhaps 15 years, first Dr Beaff (sp?) and now Dr Bangor. Both are careful and thorough in the examination. I always leave feeling relieved to have been so well examined, especially as I had melanoma, detected by Dr. Beaff, and three friends, all out doors guys, died of that disease. Four stars not five because it would be nice if they called and asked me to schedule my periodci exam- I forget to do it. read more

Avoid this place! The check up with Dr Hud went OK. The continuing nightmare began with their repeated failure to properly code the visit with my insurance (Cygna). Cygna says they will pay 100% of the check up, however the doctor's office coded it wrong, so they have to resubmit. I conveyed the info to the doctor, and they promised to correct. When I got another statement from Cygna, the amount owing was the same. I called them and was informed the doctor resubmitted with the exact same (wrong) code. Over the next few months, I wrote the doctor's office twice, and never received a reply. The second time I offered to settle with them for a lesser amount I so I can be done with it. They accepted and cashed my check, and then placed the balance for collection -- which I am still fighting. Others have told me that some unscrupulous doctors intentionally miscode claims so they get more insurance money, and don't care if costs their patient's share of the cost ends up being a lot more too. I suspect this may be the case for this doctor too. You'll be better off going anywhere else. read more
