A beautiful setting but the drinks are pricey. Our server was attentive which was nice. Come for the view but limit your drinks.
I came here after arriving late to the hotel. We made our way up and ordered the fondue plate and a flatbread. I was very happy with both! The fondue was incredibly tasty and made me wish I ordered a second one! The apple and the bread in the cheese itself was a perfect pairing. The flatbread also had some nice flavor to it and was a nice way to end our evening. We didn't order any drinks. The staff was very nice, the service was a little slow though so if you are trying to get in and out quickly, this may not be the place for you. Still, if you want a nice place in your hotel to unwind for the day, try this place out!
My cousins and I came here on a Friday night for drinks and had a nice time. We made reservations in advance to sit outside. Unfortunately, it was freezing that day. We had a table next to the fire pit so that helped tremendously. Not all tables have one so we were lucky! Drinks are pricey but it's for the experience. I ordered the cocktail called Always Sunny. Tasted nice and wasn't too sweet. We also ordered the cheese board and tacos, which were both very good. They played great music, beautiful scenery, and friendly service. It does get packed so highly recommend making reservations! I will be back next month when my friend visits from out of town!
My first time trying this his roof top and they did not disappoint. The view just sets the mood for fun and night life. They had a pretty good DJ playing music setting a great vibe. The food was awesome deserts so good the wine tastes perfect. This is a very upscale restaurant and the service matched. I can't wait to return and try more items on the menu.
Assembly Rooftop wins for ambiance, such a cute spot and the views were gorgeous. The drinks were delicious (and pretty strong!) despite people having negative things to say. Especially the strawberry swings drink-- it gave strawberry lemon drop. Both flat breads-- salumi and margherita--were decent, nothing to go crazy over. They did what needed to be done.
I've never been to Assembly before but have heard great things about it mostly because of its amazing views of center city. This place has the best view of the parkway (minus the rooftop of the Franklin Institute). In wintertime, the place was decorated as an Alpine Ski Resort. The bar is really tiny but the private seating options looked pretty cool with their fireplaces. Ended up getting alpine floral toddy which was amazing. The hot hibiscus tea with the rum really tasted warm and amazing. The bartenders were quick with our drink orders as well. FYI- this bar is located on the 9th floor of the Logan hotel. One of the elevators only goes to the 8th floor which caused us such confusion.
Overall - service was lackluster. Drinks were mid. Another case of a place whose good reviews equivocate to everything else lacking. It's also odd to me that they still seat people outside even when it's freezing outside and don't have enough heaters for the tables/lounge seating. We were freezing our asses out there even with jackets on, and unless they had a bunch of heaters broken, I don't know why they thought it was a good idea lol.
Reopening rooftop Event. A lil chilly on the rooftop. Good vibes tho. Lobster rolls were phenomenal. The drinks were good. The ambiance was EVERYTHING! An improvement to the event would be to add more people handing out food and drinks so that it flowed better. We had long waits in between receiving the next drink or food item.
Assembly Rooftop Lounge came highly recommended as one of the best rooftops in Philly, and with its picturesque location and skyline views... I can easily see why. Their drinks were amazing! I had a 'Naked and Famous' and 'Drunk in Love' which were all top tier. This would be an excellent date night spot, place to celebrate a birthday, girls night out, special dinner & cheeky drinks!! The space is really versatile and gives you a venue that can have an intimate setting, as well as a trendy social location - all in the same venue.
Assembly is a solid move for drinks on any night of the week. Good music, great view, and awesome staff. Visited on a Thursday evening and the vibes were great. This place attracts everyone from college students to business professionals to older patrons getting their 2 step on. Drinks are solid. A lot of the ones listed on the menu have a premade base. Good for consistency, but wish they were a little better. Food was also ok. Moral of the story, come for the drinks and ambience. Bring a jacket because it does get a little chilly at night.
This drink! This view! We went sightseeing in the hotel and just happened to end up checking out this rooftop bar. It's absolutely adorable and the views of the area are wonderful. It was a sunny and breezy day, perfect for this rose gold margarita and porto al tramanto! Warning: you have a 90-minute limit to enjoy the drinks, small bites and stunning views.
Awesome spot for craft cocktails. It's small but a great choice for groups. And a great place if you're posting for the gram. It's also very centric to other places and bar in walking distance. Therefore, it's a good place to start your bar hopping journey. The cocktails are amazing and carefully crafted.

I chose this place for my brothers birthday with the things he would have liked; he love cheesecake and a good gin. So I ordered what he would have eaten if he was still with us. My good friend joined me for a drink before we went restaurant hopping after work. Female Hostess was not friendly at the entrance ; however the male host is the reason for the three stars. Our server was not friendly just blah. As I watched her she was like that with all the guest. The views were amazing our drinks were wonderful. I didn't include the two glasses of moscato or the crab cakes. All so good. The lobster roll needed seasoning but for the price I ate everything lol. The presentation was good on all except the cheesecake flight; mango passion fruit and coconut flavored 7/10. I like the venue I'll check it out again and hopefully I can give five stars. For me customer service is the determining factor. Definitely visit and make reservations read more
Came up to the rooftop after a massage downstairs at the Logan and it was a perfect day for a rooftop. The frozen lemonade was the best frozen drink I've ever had - it had some coconut creme mixed in so it had a creamy taste to it which hit the spot! Service was a bit off, drinks came at a great pace but everyone around us were offered happy hour options except us, so we didn't get to see those options, but it was a great experience regardless! read more
Ordered a drink here, very mystical elegant design . The bar was right in the middle and it was the highlight. Staff was very attentive and on top of the room. My gin and tonic was basic compared to the elegant decor inside and the BEST view of the city! Would go again read more

Decent place with very nice views and a good overall cocktail experience for those who want to just get a drink and a pretty view. I did enjoy the flatbread pizza, but the price point for everything was a little much. Our server Colton was on top of things. read more

Came here to catch up with a friend and made reservations for outdoor seating. Plus side of the reservation was that we just to sit by the fire pit (which wasn't guaranteed). Downside was the $10/person charge to make the reservation. I had the rose gold margarita and it was a strong drink but the alcohol wasn't overpowering. The cheese fondue was great and the bread it's accompanied with has a garlicky taste. Would I come again? Maybe, but I wouldn't make a reservation. read more

Great place atop the Logan Curio. Firepits, outdoor and inside seats. We ordered some drinks and the Frisée and Lardons. Our waiter was a bit distracted, but super cool. We made a reservation and were sat on a high top but the lounge/booth seats are definitely more desirable if you're booking. Lardons came without the baguette/ bread item and the beer selection is a little lame. Wifey loved her spritz. read more

Came for a drink. Views are just ok. The host was a little rude because we didn't have reservations but we were able to still get seated. Drink was ok didn't really like the huge basil leaf in my drink but otherwise it was standard. I probably won't return though it just didn't do it for me. read more

Planned a birthday dinner here for a group of non-alcohol drinkers. The view was immaculate! We made reservations for 7:30pm, so we were able to see the sunset and enjoy our food in the dark. The rooftop decor gives off Miami vibes. The portions are super small, this is definitely a spot where drinks are prioritized and the food acts as fillers in between drinks. That being said, the views made up for it and this spot is more of an experience. There's a $10 per person reservation charge which I've never come across. Given they are a rooftop lounge specializing in drinks, more than one mocktail on their menu would have been accommodating. Plenty of restaurants with extensive menus manage more than one mocktail. The lobster roll with chips was pretty good. The roll was more like a breadstick in width, but tasted good. read more
Great cocktail spot with a great view down the parkway. The signature cocktails were all very nice and well balanced. We just had an assortment of apps for happy hour but all of them were tasty. read more

Thank you Zanna for the awesome review! We are very glad you enjoyed…
Mostly, it was a nice experience. The main selling point has to really be the view. It was beautiful. My friends and I didn't order any food, just drinks but the drinks were delicious. We absolutely loved the peanut butter hot chocolate. Pricing, personally I feel like it is a was bit high with the cover charge of $10 per person. We were a group of 3, right of the bat we spend $30 just to enter without any food or drink. If you're a bigger group, you'll be spending more. It would be a little better if at least a part of that cover charge could go toward the food/drink bill. Service was mostly nice. We had a late reservation time but we got there about an hour and 15 mins early. Which we understand was our fault but the first host we encountered was so rude and just walked away from us when we asked if it was possible to be seated a early. For such a classy place, that was such a classless attitude. About half an hour later when she left we tried asking again and the second host we encountered were so much kinder. She took a look for us and came back with good news and was able to seat us; and even moved us to a couch location as well later on. The server we had was nice. He took our orders, attentive enough and delivered in a prompt manner. Overall, I would go back again. Thanks to the second host that experience went from bad to really good. I enjoyed the view and the drinks but next time would definitely make sure timing is more correct when I book. read more

The atmosphere and staff was very friendly and amazing! The food was horrible and menu should be updated. Nothing else was offered since our food was not edible. Drinks were half filled glasses. I did receive a complimentary shot for birthday since I was unable to order a dessert to say Happy Birthday Day. I was embarrassed I suggested this place. read more

Do you allow kids to dine with parents during the day on the rooftop? Is there a kids menu?
Assembly is strictly 21+, so there is no children allowed / children's menu. This does not…
Are there TVs at the bar to watch the Eagles game?
There are tvs but it's not really a sports bar
Hi- is this place open tomorrow 12/16/18 noon considering it might be raining? Thanks
Yes they will close the open doors outside to the patio if it begins to rain heavily but they will remain open to serve food and drinks inside.
Is it a place for dancing?
No- there's no DJ or dance floor. It's more of a lounge
Hi I can't wait to visit rooftop I heard a lot of great things about the lounge I'm looking forward should I make reservations for Friday evening?
You don't have to make reservations, it's more of a lounge with bar food kind of place. Extremely well managed!
