There was a group of about 8 people here celebrating a birthday and a couple next to us also on a date night. Jason, Lucas & Tiffany were great at demonstrating, explaining and answering the bazillion questions we had - ha! Succulents just don't survive in our home so it was nice to experience this! We learned so much! The price was reasonable for a date night and drinks and snacks are also available to purchase. All supplies are provided for each participant to paint one small terra cotta pot, 2-3 mini succulents and soil This family owned business is beautifully decorated with mid century modern vibes and will give you TONS of ideas on how to include plants in your home I highly recommend this business and look forward to returning again soon!

We attended their…read more"Succ & Sip" workshop & got to create our own succulent gardens while listening to good music & mingling with others in the community. All the staff were so friendly, funny, and genuinely helpful. The staff member who led the event walked us through choosing our plants based on lighting and where we planned to put them. We got clear and thorough care instructions (which I definitely needed because I usually accidentally kill my plants ). They even offer house calls & virtual help if you're struggling with your plants, which is amazing. I could've saved many a plant had I known about this spot, lol. Anyway, the shop has beautiful plants, cute accessories, and I love how the event space was decorated. There was plenty of seating & they host workshops regularly. There were cocktails, mocktails, water, and snacks available for purchase. Overall, it was such a positive & uplifting experience. I loved getting my hands dirty & creating something myself. I highly recommend browsing the shop or attending an event!

The first purchase we made was about a year…read moreago and we purchased the Anacapa modular sectional for our loft area no complaints it is a very comfortable couch and has held up over a year. We had to go back to living Spaces because we purchased a new home and need to furnish it. We're starting with a couch and the dining table. Our sales associate was Vina and we actually met Veena a few months ago when we were just looking at furniture and seeing our options and what would fit best in our space and she took us around the showroom all the different options and showed us the modular couches fast-forward to this month we went in and finally decided on a couch. We went with the Everett modular couch. We custom ordered the fabric and the pillows, and we went with the Casey, walnut expandable table and Kissa chair chairs. Vina was so patient with my husband and I. Thank you Vina!!

So I emailed them, as they have No direct to store phone number. 14 emails later I have yet to get any support! I started with emails to the store and after getting no response I went into the store and spoke directly with some guy at the service desk after being directed there by the information desk people-only to be met with what could be best described as an apathetic attitude! I continued with emails and got in contact with the manager who in turn got me in contact with their delivery carrier Maersk/Site Manager- Final Mile Operation. I basically got treated by Maersk like it was my fault-I've sent pictures and never heard back! All I wanted was some acknowledgment of the damages, a caring attitude, and an apology. I ended up repairing the damage myself. What's funny is I was giving the delivery guy privacy to get his job done and even gave a decent tip! And he couldn't even say Hey I put a dent in your wall and please call this number and they will take care of it. I spent over $6,000 at this store and would think they would care.

Ordered a breakfast pizza, tomato bisque and Cherry Danish. Food that was ready for pick up was everything except the breakfast pizza. I waited close to 17 mins for that pizza and was told it takes time to make fresh pizza. Overall, this is the place to be! Prices are the same as if you ordered a sandwhich from the gift shop but this place has way better food. You get a bang for your buck here. I did not feel ripped off. Excellent place. Just make sure when you order a breakfast pizza that you will be waiting for 15 minutes or more! Haha

The only business that had more than a couple of customers was the View Wine Bar, in the middle of an otherwise busy weekend afternoon where other businesses where packed and a farmer's market filled the plaza with foot traffic. This area has a variety of complementary but non-competing businesses clustered together: a braiding/blow-dry bar and a tanning salon, a portrait studio and an art shop, a candy store and kid's clothing shop, and a surprisingly stunning décor store. Several of them seemed to be hurting for business though, with a single bored-looking employee and no customers. Property management seems to be making an effort to direct traffic this way: there are standing easels in the outdoor plaza pointing to the entrances in the area, there is a dedicated elevator in the parking garage, and extensive wall-art encouraging visitors to stop in and explore. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be working.

This was meant to be a learning moment for them. Instead, we were embarrassed the moment we walked in. A staff member asked what we were looking for, and when my husband said "banana plant," he laughed at us. He even told another worker, and they both laughed like it was a joke. Our kids were standing right there and witnessed everything. It completely ruined the experience. As parents, we were trying to teach our children about gardening, curiosity, and learning new things. Instead, they saw adults mocking others for asking a simple question. A respectful explanation would have been more than enough, but we received zero professionalism and zero kindness. This place does not create a welcoming or supportive environment, especially for families or beginners. We left feeling disrespected and disappointed. If you value being treated with basic respect, I recommend going somewhere else.
