I like that their prices are quite reasonable compared to their competitor across the street, but in exchange, there is less of a cash back reward. Additionally, they charge shipping based on price of the product rather than a flat rate. In general, there is no customer service. Selection is limited as well. Sale or clearance items can be a decent find if you are there on the right day and time. Would I give them my business all things considering? Perhaps not. The customer service is part of purchasing a furniture for many folks who are trying to furnish their home and already stressed out with trying to figure everything out.

We went to the store today and liked a lamp that had a tag on it saying "take me home today". When asked if there was a box that the lamp came in, the salesperson said no and we couldn't purchase the display models. My wife stated, " you have 3 lamps of the same type and we can buy one"? Salesperson said no sorry. We can order you one and it would take 2 weeks. It literally has a tag on it saying take me home today. All 3 lamps had the same tag on it. It wasn't a cheep lamp either. It was over 200 dollars for a table lamp. It's amazing when a salesperson can't explain why that tag was on there and then saying to us that we would have to wait 2 weeks. The salesperson wasn't rude, but wasn't nice either. It really felt as if she didn't want to sell us the lamp. It felt really uncomfortable and then we left the store shaking our heads wondering why there was a "take me home today" tag on the lamp and we couldn't take it home today. Weird. We love West Elm, William Sonoma and Pottery Barn knowing they are part of the same company, but now we may look other places. Hmm? We don't know.

She was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and patient. We discussed all of the necessary supplies we would need for tile work and placed the order. We were fully covered for the tiling jobs since our project manager only told us to order the tile. Turns out we needed all but the thin set. Our project manager neglected to tell us prior to ordering that we did not need the thin set but Alyssa assured me that anything that wasn't needed could be returned. I wasn't able to speak to the project manager until the following day and it turns out the thin set was not needed, so I was able to have the order adjusted prior to pick up by our project manager. Alyssa knows her stuff for sure! I asked her honest opinion on grout color choices and she led me in the right direction! We are very thankful for all of her help and guidance and expertise through this journey. When we return to the store for future purchases, we will remember Alyssa for sure. To cancel the thin set from the order prior to pick up, I called this afternoon and spoke with Aidan and Aidan was able to process the return before our pick up and issue a credit to our account. We appreciate both Alyssa and Aiden for their knowledge and dedication to customer satisfaction. The Clemens family.

Tony walked me through everything , from the different types of tile to the kinds of grout . The difference between ceramic, porcelain, and natural stone. If you are thinking of doing your own tile project, definitely go to Floor & Decor, ask to speak with a manager, and schedule an appointment with Tony. He'll set you up on a Saturday and make sure you leave with all the knowledge you need. They offer DIY classes which I think is an amazing idea. You walk out of there feeling confident in your projects. . This place reminds me of Home Depot but for flooring . They carry beautiful tile pieces and pretty good price compared to other tile stores I've looked into. Their delivery fee is $250 .

I specifically said I didn't want anything with feathers when she mentioned it was an option. I purchased a sofa, loveseat & rug. There items are not the most budget friendly but I thought Ethan Allen meant quality. After delivery , I began getting poked with something sharp. To my surprise it was feathers that I DID NOT ORDER. I attempted to contact Lorraine the sales lady numerous times. Spoke with her once. She said, "I promise I will call you back." Never did. I had to keep calling them. I requested for them to take the feathered furniture back. Ethan Allen manager Joe refused stating, "It was a special order." It wasn't my special order. Lorraine ordered the wrong pieces. They offered to switch out pillows & cushions. Feathers were poking through. I wanted them to take their items back. They refused even though it was their mistake. I called customer service which just sent my calls right back to the local manager. So this was going no where. I finally was so upset after dealing with all of the incompetence & excuses. We physically had to haul, go to the store & put their property (the wrong sofa love seat with feathers that Lorraine mistakenly ordered) inside the store. I finally got their attention when we showed up. Keep in mind I called the store on a Saturday & Sunday to let them know if this wasn't resolved I was bringing the pieces back. I was not going to pay over $5,000 for items I did not order. They were unwilling to take responsibility & give me what I ordered. Finally after going to the extremes of physically have the furniture directly to their store show room, that Joe the manager finally said I'd receive a full refund. I never received the $300 delivery fee I paid for everything to be delivered. The rug was delivered, which we could have picked up retrospectively looking at things that was $300 wasted. The sofa & loveseat were nice products. I thought the name Ethan Allen meant quality & service. Instead I felt belittled, swindled, & their nice customer service came to a screeching haunt when they made a mistake. Customer service ends as soon as they make the sale. Beware! I don't recommend their products simply because they didn't fulfill their side of the contract to deliver what is ordered. Not only did they lose a customer, they lost their total furniture sale. I will not be shy with my truthful words if someone mentions Ethan Allen. Shame on your customer service. The even more disturbing & disappointing thing is the lack of accountability on Ethan Allen' rep Lorraine & Joe the manager. Incompetence is the new norm apparently.
