We love this art studio! We have been coming here for camp for 3 years and every year my daughter wants to return. When I ask her what she loves about Aspire, she says she loves being able to practice her art, but she learns new skills each time, and that the teachers are so nice. From a parent perspective, it's wonderful to see my daughter excited to go each day and feeling very proud about herself each day when she comes home. my sons loved their one week art camp here! they tried a variety or art styles including papier mache, oil pastels, water color and color pencils. i appreciated the smaller class size and student to teacher ratio as it didn't feel too overwhelming. i threw in a last minute request to have both my sons in the same class, and they were kind enough to make shifts to accommodate, which was so helpful for my two sons who were nervous about being separated! they also reward the kids with "money" at the end of each class that they can use to redeem little prizes with, and this small perk is the highlight of each class! would definitely recommend! read more

This is a FANTASTIC place to send your kids for art! It is very organized and well-run! The class sizes are small and the students work on fun, individual art projects. All the teachers are wonderful and caring, and Ms. Carole and Ms Tiffany are awesome! Your kids will not only have fun here, but learn real art techniques. They also offer digital art, which are done on computers. We have done their regular classes as well as their camps and everything has been great! We have been to 3 different art studios in Irvine before going to Aspire based on a friend's recommendation. We were so happy that we went! When we visited Aspire the first time, we immediately noticed its nice open and inviting space. We also liked how they showcase students' work in the studio. We were greeted by the center director who was very courteous and knowledgeable about teaching art to kids! After the first few lessons, we noticed our 6 years old and 8 years old already learned different art techniques (e.g., sketching, watercolor painting, oil pastel pastel drawing). The teachers would explain the lesson to us by showing us what they did and also give their feedback on our kids' learning progress. We have been so impressed at their professionalism, helpful attitude, and the level of attention they gave to our kids in class. We also have joined their Winter and Spring art camps which offer a variety of art activities (e.g., clay, drawing, painting, digital art, etc.). In addition, we like how Aspire presents any local and national art events and contests as learning opportunities to the students and parents. Recently, one of our kids received the Outstanding Artist Award from IUSD, and her art piece was displayed in the IUSD office! We have been going to Aspire for almost a year, and our kids never complain or want to quit like what they did when they attended the other art studios before. Here is a review from a long time student (I went here as a 9yr old and left when I was 14). I'm now 24yrs old and working in the animation industry: This is an art school that will love and nurture your child's exploration in art. This art school is run by a pair of sisters (Miss Tiffany and Miss Claire), and their staff really takes the time to get to know every single child and foster what they're really passionate about. If you want an environment that will love your child and get to know them as well as providing relevant ways to teach your children (showing them cool art videos during break, having fun activities for them to engage in). I remember when I was little, my mom would enroll me in very sterile, very boring art classes that treated you as if they were sifting through a machine--until we found this place. Aspire art Studios has been growing the last couple of years, and it's because of the passion behind the teachers that run the business and focuses on individualistic learning. If you want a sterile, boring, loveless environment, take your child to Fibo or the Mission Renaissance Fine Art classes. That's where my mom took me as a child and I was bored out of my mind. If you want teachers who are funny, wonderful, smart, engaging, and kind. Take them here. I love Miss Tiffany, and I love her staff for always being funny, smart, and open--like the silly aunts I've never had.
