It took about 7 months to plan and then complete. Kevin went above and beyond in helping to make this project a success. The island is beautiful and could not have been completed were it not for Kevin providing his landscaping expertise and making sure my son had all the knowledge and materials he needed. However, Kevin (in more ways than one), truly stepped in and saved the day! He was super responsive, professional, and genuinely cared about my landscaping needs and wanted to solve all our problems. He promptly scheduled a consultation, provided a timely (and fair) estimate and quickly got to work, showing a level of commitment that was unparalleled. The team's expertise and efficiency were evident throughout the entire project and even made a stop back to make sure our sprinklers covered the newly sodded area. Not only did they complete the job flawlessly, but they also went the extra mile to ensure I was satisfied with the results and provided consultation on optimizing our lawn and we have happily been using their services for insect control and seeding ever since. I am beyond grateful for their reliability and dedication. No doubt I will be reaching out to him some more to take care of other areas of our property. If you're looking for a trustworthy and dependable landscaper, look no further. We've found a friend in Kevin. Five stars are well-deserved for the team's outstanding service!

I originally gave this company a D because I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt, which you…read morecan see by my the first half of my review, but that has since changed at the end of this review. part 1..... .I am a little conflicted on how to write this review and hope I can edit it if David ever resurfaces. David was great and patient the entire way through the process. Answered all my questions, concerns, worked around other projects, etc. i never had a reason to think he isn't the right guy for the job, heck, he may still be if I ever learn the backstory. The issue is, I cant get in touch with him now that I am having a slight issue with the driveway. One, that will only get worst if not fixed, I have called numerous times and sent at least 5 messages via Angie's List since roughly July 3rd. I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt (sick, out of the country, on vacation, busy season, etc). However, it is almost going on a month and I'm stuck wondering how to proceed as he hasn't responded. Even other contractors dont have anything bad to say about him, but do suggest the driveway wasn't compacted with a "heavy enough" roller. Thus, the cause of the slight indentations in the driveway (have gotten worst since originally typing this). The entire point of paving my driveway was to get rid of those and much, much worst damage that the driveway had. Everything else is great - pitches good, survived the scaring, no damage to my new fence or patio pavers, WAS (before he got all my money) a great communicator, started/finished on time. I am hoping you see this review and resolve the issue so I can leave the review I was going to originally leave (all great comments). Anyone else reading this, take it for what it is...maybe something else is going on that is more important than work right now..who knows.. I just hope the one year warranty is honored. part 2) I changed my review to F because I have been waiting for over a month and I now know the company is active and still around. I have simply been ignored and what appears to be ripped off. All of American Paving Company jobs come with a warranty and mine is not being honored. I expected better from a company that has been around for 60 years and initially seemed very legitimate. thanks for ripping me off and not honoring your work. very unprofessional and I will be reporting this issue to the state and town. This is why I suggest people don't pay contractors with a check, which is unfortunately only what this company takes. I felt comfortable enoaugh paying via this way because of his previous great reviews. Now, the only recourse is small claims court and the attorney generals office. all emails, phone calls and fax messages ignored since July 3rd. It is now August 25th, 2019. To make matters worst you redid a driveway 8 houses down from me and still didn't stop by or leave a note. You probably got the business from the sign you left at our house. I hope you sleep well at night knowing you screwed me and my family out of $3500.. .so much for my 7 year old having a smooth driveway to play basketball on, which is half of the reason I fixed the driveway. You should be ashamed.

Avoid this company. My experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish…read more They provided me with a written estimate and scheduled the job, but never showed up. After I contacted them, they apologized and blamed equipment issues, then rescheduled. Unfortunately, they missed the second appointment as well--again without a phone call or any advance notice. Four days later, they reached out with another apology and scheduled a third appointment. Instead of honoring the original contract, they sent me a text saying the job would now cost an additional $2,000, claiming they needed more material. This made no sense because they had already visited my property to take measurements and prepare the original estimate. If additional materials were required, that should have been identified before providing a contract price and scheduling the work. The repeated no-shows, lack of communication, and last-minute price increase demonstrated a complete lack of professionalism. I cannot recommend this company and would strongly advise others to look elsewhere.

To the Masonry Pro construction team,…read more My apologies on the delay in leaving you a review. My father found this contractor through a friend of his. My dad's friend was doing a project on his home when my dad happen to drive by on the way home. My dad was so impressed with the work that they did that he ended up hiring this crew. Biagio was professional and gave us an accurate price based off of his assessment. There were no run arounds or cutting corners from when we spoke to him about the project to signing the contract, demo and construction to the final day. Shoutout to Biagio and his crew for coming through and making our back yard wall and side wall look nice compared to what it looked like before. He and his team were absolute professionals in how they started and completed this project at our home. In a two day span they demo'd two walls and constructed new walls the proper way compared to how this was when we moved here in 2005. It feels good to sit in the backyard now whereas before it wasn't aesthetically pleasing and didn't flow with the home. I can't stop thinking about the backyard wall! Quality work by a quality crew of workers. I highly recommend this crew for any home project that you may want done.

Long- winded, but for a very good reason!! I had initially found Mr Biaggio of Masonry Pro online - noticed how everyone had very nice things to say about him as I'm a "People Person" so this is what drew me! Reaching out and describing the difficulty level of re-doing a STEEP new retaining wall, right above the Ramapo River - making it even further complicated- his ability, detailed plan of attack and confidence to provide a lasting solution. His crew did an Excellent job of regrading, building a new support system for the wall that'll preserve our back yard. After that was concluded, we had immediately hired them to re-do our entire driveway and walkway afterwards! They performed and worked non-stop, exceptionally under dire temperatures during this past blazing Summer 2024! I had to tell them to slow down... take a break...
