In 2 weeks, they came in and fixed all 3 steps within a single day. I was in communication with project manager throughout the process. He was very responsive. Got all it done so efficiently with very reasonable pricing. Steps look amazing, lot of the neighbors praised their work. Back in 2017 I had hired Angels to redo my house's sidewalk. They did an amazing from start to end, including permits and inspections. After all those years the pavement still maintains the quality and firmness.

My wife and I were looking for someone to help us with some yard care. We reached out to several…read morebusinesses and this one was the first to reply. We had a good initial meeting the head landscaper and we asked for multiple things to be done. The initial price quoted seemed fair and we were anxious to get it done. He seemed to want us to do part of what we were asking through him and not the company he is working for. Once they arrived they fulfilled half of what we asked for and left. We arrived home believing they would be back to finish the work we talked about but it became clear they were under the impression they were complete with the job. We reached out to resolve our issue and were told the head landscaper had completed what we asked for. Eventually the main landscaper contacted us to Try and straighten out any issues we had and said to read to contract, and it's true, much of what we asked for what not delineated in fine print, so we were wrong to go with the verbal agreement. We figured we would just let it go until all the weeds came back in full glory 2 weeks later. There was no fertilization or soil grooming done at all. My wife called to complain today and was told this was something you have to specifically ask for. We are very unsatisfied with this company and how they operate. I'd strongly suggest avoiding them in the future.

I contracted for repair of a chimney vent (for the furnace). The work was done before a rain storm and when I questioned him about it he said that the rain would not damage the work. They did the work, the rain came. The next day I went on the roof to check it out. The rain had washed away much of the "crown" and mortar patches in the brick! To his credit, he came the next business day and fixed it. But, what if I had not gone up on the roof? I'm a senior in good health, but what if I couldn't? Also, not knowing what the job entailed, I accepted the estimate. The job took less than two hours. Brain surgeons don't make as much as I paid. VERY expensive. This…read moreis the second time using them and both times they were phenomenal. 13 years ago after buying our new home we noticed water coming up from the floor in the basement, I searched for a company and landed on them. We had a French drain installed and never another issue with water. Now mom's house is getting ready to be sold but she's had years of water issues. We couldn't ignore it any longer so I called them again and in 2 days the main part of the job is done. They will be installing a sump pump for mom and again they hung plastic to keep the dust down they move items out of the way and day one the basement was trenched. Tomorrow the outside work begins and the drains will be laid out. After inspection they will be back to put the cement down clean up and done. I will always recommend Lou and American A1 Waterproofing. P.S. Lou's prices are still amazing after all these years between our job 13 years ago and today's.

They were meticulous and timely in their work. Recently we had an issue with our sump pump, we could smell sewer water and had a lot of drain flies coming. Lou, came right away, and helped us get to the cause. It was the main sewer line from the city had backed up to our house. A small part of our drain had to get fixed as a result and they did it right away. Outside of this one issue, which wasn't due to their work, our basement which would get flooded all the time has been completely dry. I recommend A-1 waterproofing all the time.
