I have to say this site yelp is full of scumbag moderators. They love to protect the owners of businesses and dump on the people that hire them. When you look at a photo of the work that was done, you can see that the pavers did not have specific anchors Along the sides to keep the pavers from pulling away and due to differences between the owner of the paving company that did the work and myself they're not standing behind their two year warranty. read more

We hired Jones And Son Paving in March of 2022 to repave our driveway and install Belgian block around the driveway . The job came out absolutely horrible . After the job was complete we clearly noticed bumps all over the driveway . We were told the driveway had to settle and the bumps would go away after a few months . The bumps never went away . You could feel the bumps when you drive the car up and down the driveway . The cement for the Belgian block started to crack all over the place in less than a year of being installed . Cracks started to appear all over the driveway in less than a year and have progressively gotten worse . There are really rough spots where little pieces of asphalt come up every time I blow the driveway off with the leaf blower . Extremely poor work . read more

He then recommended what he thought would be best (which was not the most expensive). He was able to fit me in the following week. Mark Jones called me and went immediately to my property and gave an estimate to cap my driveway and repair the holes. His pricing was excellent as I had received a number of estimates from other contractors for a very difficult steep driveway that had to be laid and compacted by hand. He Notified me of when he was coming and then again that he would be approximately 1/2 hour late. His men then showed up and did an extraordinary job. Very bad expensive experience. Embarrassingly poor work. Had to rope off areas due to high risk injuries after owner claimed work was complete. Should never pay until work is completed. Owner consistently begging for money before work is near complete. Very much in a rush to get paid before work is done. Pulled workers off our job 4 times during 2 week period to pave driveways he had prospected while working on our property.. He fired 3 workers, one for inappropriate behavior, second for staining/scratching treads and last, the masonry worker the only after we brought it to his attention. Started early August, and stopped 2 weeks later begging to be paid. Promised he would finish over next few days. Of course, he did not. 2+ months later after several stressful conversations about how concerned we were about potential injuries. He sent one worker for a half day who pasted over some cracks that had formed over the last 2 months. To this day, stair treads not attached., stairs crooked, cement on all sides is beveled and uneven. Landing that had cracked and split was removed. We paid fir replacement paving stones which were never placed. Refused to finish work. Stairs are cracking and hazardous. Had to be taped off as it are unsafe. When I called owner to ask when worker will return, Mark stated that job was 100% complete and refused to return to finish. He fired the worker and then told me that the work was really up to the fired worker, so he would not be finishing the job. and sent rude and inappropriate email to me. I came across this company as a cold call. They drove by my house while I was outside and asked to look at the driveway. Said sure and was given an en estimate for cracks to be filled, an area to be repaved due to settling and a few spots where there were dips in the driveway and sealcoating. Owner said guys were paid for for the day and they could do the work right away. Since having the work done over a year ago I have been in contact with the owner at least 4 or more times and he has even been back to look at what needed to be fixed. All the cracks they filled cracked all over again and the area in which they covered over with asphalt started coming apart. Literally came apart in pieces and crumbled. The excuse was a bad batch of asphalt. Was told that they would come back before the end of the summer and after many attempts at this point still nothing. Would not recommend this company at all. Made the mistake of taking someone's word for coming back. Also asked for a copy of the bill but being that I paid cash the day of service never got that either. Just kept being told I did the work I'll make it right. read more
