I don't normally write reviews, and Good Faith Energy did not ask me to write this review, but I've…read morehad such good experiences with this company that I had to express my praise for Good Faith Energy. I first contacted Good Faith Energy to help with solar planning for an all-electric house build I was building in Dallas, TX. While the house was still in the pre-drywall phase, I wanted to make sure that anything that could be added in the construction phase to help with solar installation later was done. Good Faith Energy helped me out, and for a nominal fee, they designed an electrical plan and coordinated with the builder on what components would make installation easier in the future. My original plan was to build the house and live in the house for a year to figure out my electricity needs, and then design a solar system around my usage. However, after moving in in early 2025, I decided to proceed with solar installation given my fear that the solar tax credit would be going away soon. I explored several solar companies, but ultimately picked Good Faith Energy. They were familiar with the products I was interested in (REC solar panels, SPAN panels, and Tesla Powerwall 3). They are very involved with the community and post very insightful videos on YouTube. You can tell that their owner and all of the employees are passionate about what they sell and install, and truly care about selecting the right solar system for you. My sales associate with Sammy, who was happy to provide different quotes, and he offered me very good suggestions about things I hadn't thought of. Joe was the engineer that worked on the plans, and he was also incredibly helpful and patient with me. He understood my desire to maximize the number of panels on my roof space, and tried out different ways with the design to maximize solar production. Samantha and Amanda were excellent project managers, who kept me informed throughout the entire project. My install was a bit more complicated than a typical residential system. My house is all-electric, and I have a 320 amp service powering two 200 amp panels. As a result, I ultimately went with a 28.5 kW REC solar panel system powering two separate sets of Tesla Powerwall 3 (5 total). Special shoutout to our electrician Ronnie and the site manager Shane, along with the rest of the Good Faith Energy install team, who battled some of the hottest days this summer to install the project on time. Their attention to detail was impressive, and the result is a very clean install. I live in a conservation district in Dallas, and as a result, I needed approval from the conservation district as well as from the City of Dallas. It took several months to get a permit, but Good Faith Energy had experience with this and knew how to handle it. There was one minor rough patch. We scheduled a city inspection two weeks ahead of schedule, but Good Faith Energy wasn't there where the city inspector came, which generated an immediate red-tag. However, this was ironed out by the next week, and we received a green tag after just one inspection the following week. Since the install, I've had a couple minor issues with the system, but Good Faith Energy was quick to respond and resolve the issues. I have been left with a feeling that this company stands behind their project. In the end, for such a complex and expensive project, I have had an extremely positive experience working with Good Faith Energy, and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a solar install in DFW.

Peter and the crew are absolutely ALL of the hype previously stated!…read more I have 6 skylights installed over the course of 2 yrs. 5 out of the 6 were installed with absolutely no issues however there 6th... YIKES!! Long story summarized, turns out a previous roof job (thanks to the ice storm of the century) done by another company a few weeks prior to this installation was done horribly rushed and incorrect (sloppy is more accurate). Given leaks appeared immediately after this install I naturally assumed it was Daylight Rangers fault. After calling Peter and informing him of the leak he immediately showed up to assess. Peter immediately identifying the issue was NOT one he had created and willingly offered to fix the job correctly (*insert mind blown emoji here!!). Super Peter ACTIVATE! Watching Peter work was like watching Michael Jordan at his PRIME!! Every detail, every angle, every crevasse was attended to perfection. Peter moved like 3 men half his age, in their prime with previous gymnast experience! After several hours of being completely and totally IN AWE at watching a master at work (just peaking in as not to disturb his Jedi flow) I wouldn't of been surprised at him doing a back flip of the roof, sticking the landing and King Kong chest pounding when the job was done!! I cannot state enough how INCREDIBLE this company is. Honor, integrity, craftsmanship, attention to detail... this man no doubt is touched by God himself and I am truly grateful our paths intertwined. Peter is nothing short of a Blessing and inspiration! If you're thinking of getting a skylight... STOP! No more thinking is necessary. Daylight Rangers is the dream team you're looking for and will not only NOT disappoint you but will go well beyond the call of duty to perform, excite and surprise. Simply put, "PHENOMENAL!"

I can't say enough about my experience with SolarCity in Fort Worth. From the sales people to the…read moresite surveyor to the installers, the entire process was seamless and quick. Leasing didn't make any sense to me so I purchased the system. With their solar loan program interest was 2.99% for 10 years. No money out-of-pocket either. The cost of the system is being paid for by a combination of the tax credit (the government's gift to me) and what I'm paying to TU Electric currently. The small difference in what I'm paying is to the billing company (MP2), but that rate is no higher than the one I had with TU Electric. As to their professionalism, I can't say enough here either. Everybody was polite and respectful. I felt no pressure during the process and I was offered all types of assistance in maneuvering through the electronic paperwork process. The sales people were always there to answer question and still are, even after the installation was completed. The system was installed last Friday. The installers were right on time. The crew leader introduced himself to me and then introduced his entire crew to me by name. They even offered me some of the breakfast they brought along. I watched the entire installation and asked questions and took photos along the way. They were quick to explain what and why they were doing things. They installed the free Nest thermostat which was difficult due to the wiring configuration of my dual stage heat pump. But they got it right and it also works flawlessly. They cleaned up and were gone...other than the panels on the roof, the inverter and emergency shut off near the meter, you wouldn't have even known they were there. I'm sorry to hear that some of the reviews are less than favorable, but truthfully my experience with SolarCity was completely the opposite. It was one of the most professional and satisfying experiences I've ever had with any kind of contractor. To me how they conduct themselves should be a model for others to emulate.

The phone and website all refer you to articles. The app has no way to contact support. The Tesla dealer can only send an email and the Tesla energy location is now closed. Why would anyone trust the brand Tesla with this level of service. Sure glad I never purchased their cars. You cannot contact Tesla energy via phone, app, Chat or email. Ridiculous lack of customer support.
