When I asked my health care company why this was not covered they said because the claim did not come through as preventative. In other words the provider sent the wrong "codes". After several calls with healthcare and provider and sometimes both together at the same time. It was continuously determined that the provider continued to send the wrong "codes". I went around this circle for the better part of a year. Essentially went for basic care and ended up with a huge headache. I have never dealt with such incompetence. It was really bad. Also the care I received felt very generic as I don't believe I ever saw the actual doctor that runs the office, which would have been nice as a new patient. All in all a terrible experience that was stretched out over the course of a year. And to top it off, when I called to express my dissatisfactions as well as submit my final payment after all was said and done, they acted like they could not care less. Will never return to this office.

4 years ago in the aftermath of a traumatic event that left me broken and incapacitated, I…read morediscovered a uniquely special place where women can go to begin to heal from the devastating effects of trauma. 4Winds Farm. After learning more about it, I chose it over a medication centric, traditional psychiatric facility and I'm so glad I did. This was nothing short of a transformational experience for me. 4Winds takes a creative and wholistic approach to healing thus engaging the body, mind and spirit. To begin with, the setting nestled in the Colorado mountains is breathtaking. The homemade mostly organic meals are delicious and nutritious. At 4Winds I found a profoundly powerful sense of family, belonging and community that functioned as a source of love and much needed support. In addition to more conventional psychotherapy and psychiatry, 4Winds employs a variety of modalities with which to address the consequences of trauma. For example, SE (somatic experiencing) therapy, EMDR (rapid eye desensitization reprocessing), microdosing, equine therapy, ketamine infusion, psychodrama and perhaps most importantly, the accumulation of new information and ideas that serve to reshape our perceptions of ourselves, others and the world around us. No matter what methods are used, I will say that healing is a journey. It takes time and diligence. 3 years have passed since my time at 4Winds Farm. I find that I make daily use of all I learned and experienced there and I've been gifted with many fruits of my labor. As I reflect back I feel such a deep sense of gratitude for all the life lessons I integrated and that have guided and informed me and will continue to do so for the rest of my days. PS: Brigitte is a force of nature!

I arrived barely able to function due to debilitating anxiety and grief. I left with my head held high knowing I had power within me to create a beautiful new path in life. Within the first two days, the staff helped me identify patterns of my behavior that were not serving me. This is a scared place of community and healing. All of the services offered (somatic therapy, acupuncture, Chinese medicine, an emphasis on nutrition, rest and movement, brain spotting, medicinal plant therapy/journeys, energy work and more) ALL worked together to help me restore to a place where I felt like I could come back to my life and continue on the journey of being my best self. I think it's important to note that in order to get the best experience-one must be ready to take an honest look at themselves and be open to the help offered. It was not easy but anything that fosters sustainable change isn't easy. I felt that this made it more effective. The women there (both clients and practitioners) are such safe people with so much knowledge and love. They have all followed up with me since I left and have made me feel secure even from afar. The apartments were clean and beautiful. The food was the best I've ever had (they have a private chef on staff that cooks organic and local foods). I will forever cherish the time I had at 4Winds. I was referred by a trusted friend in sobriety after experiencing a lot of trauma at the end of 2023. I would recommend this facility to anyone needing help releasing trauma, grief, addiction, negative behavioral patterns, a nervous system in overdrive and even just a general reset. I can't wait to go back and visit this sacred space! Dora and Brigette (owners) are some of the most amazing people I've ever met. A few years ago, I was seen here by Dr. Bowen while experiencing severe flu-like symptoms. I also had a bite on my arm that appeared a few days before I became very sick. I specifically showed him the bite and asked whether it could be related to my symptoms. His response was "No, I think you just have COVID. Go to City Market and get a test." I was then sent out the back door. Why he couldn't test me there I have no idea.... I followed his instructions, got tested elsewhere, and the result was negative. Dr. Bowen was rude, dismissive, and made me feel uncomfortable, as if my symptoms weren't valid or worth taking seriously. Over the years that followed, my health continued to decline. I became progressively sicker. It has since been confirmed that I have chronic Lyme disease. Luckily I had taken a photo of the bite and when I showed the physician who diagnosed me with Lyme the same bite I had shown Dr. Bowen that day, they confirmed it was consistent with a Lyme tick bite along with proper testing. Had this been properly evaluated at the time, my illness may have been caught early and treated before progressing into a chronic, life-altering condition. Instead, I am now living with a lifelong disease that could potentially have been prevented with appropriate medical attention. The dismissal of my symptoms and the failure to investigate a possible tick-borne illness had serious and lasting consequences for my health. I cannot believe this is my reality now. I hope this review encourages more thorough evaluations and genuinely patient-centered care in the future, because what I experienced here was dismissive, incompetent, and a complete failure of medical care.
