The mechanic that removed my donut, spare tire, plugged the flat tire and put on the now fixed tire. Checked the air pressure on the other 3 good tires all while my car sat outside the bay did it in 15-20 mins max time. My only negatives were: 1. the cashiers inside that station were rude and intolerant while speaking to each in some foreign language other than Spanish. I was told when I called the night before to arrange a tire repair by the station attendant who answered the phone:3x , "the mechanic is not here" duh! I knew that it was 6:15pm when I called. I asked her the mechanic's earliest availability for the week. Again he's not here call back tomorrow. I asked what time he'll be in, J don't know. "Call back tomorrow". What time does the station open for repairs. "I don't know. Call back tomorrow." I called the next morning they answered, he's busy call his number. I asked for the number they gave me it and hung up. ....really? The mechanic when I met speaks Spanish fluently and broken English. He's an excellent and very skilled mechanic, super busy working as fast as he can on whatever vehicles are there. Lastly this station was referred to me by the roadside assistance man who came out on Sunday afternoon 2 days prior all within 15 mins and had the flat tire off and the spare on in no more than 15-17 mins and when I asked where I can get my flat fixed locally, gave me the mechanic name and told me he's taken all his vehicles to this mechanic for 7 yrs. I can see why. Bottom line - the gas station is marginal , gas is gas, the people who work there are - "fortunate they still have jobs" but what makes this Sunoco top tier - is the mechanic and auto repairs they do. So get your gas where you want. But take your vehicle to get great work done quick affordable by him and his crew there. Cheers and safe motoring in 2026! read more

Not the cheapest among the five gas stations in the area, but it was on the way to my destination so I stopped by. Quick and convenient. The kiosk worked fine without any problems. The station was moderately busy for a Saturday around 6:30 PM. Went to buy a lottery ticket,Mega Millions. The guy behind the plate glass window said the door was locked closed and asked how may tickets. I didn't see any ticket forms a on the outside and told him 3. He told me the price. I gave him $6.00 and waited for him to give me the form for me to select my numbers. He then gave me three ticket receipts -- he had selected the numbers. When I told him that I wanted to pick my own and didn't want HIS numbers, he became rude, refused to refund my money or allow me to select my own numbers. If you want to catch Covid-19, go here. Their pumps do not work with credit cards, so I had to go inside the office to activate the pump. No one was wearing a mask. I requested that they put on masks and the cashier was rude and argumentative. Said that he would put on a mask. I asked him to do so then and he said, rudely, " I will, I will." But the mask did not come out and no vendors in the office were following the Montogmery County mandate. In fact, there was no sign about requiring masks. I will not go to another Sunoco gas station EVER again. This is not the first time that I have encountered terrible attitudes at Sunoco stations. My mistake I went here and I notice there was no light, but there were lights in the pump so I entered my card and start to fill. While filling the lights turned on. After filling up and moved out, the gas level almost not moved up. I think this station's pump has a problem so be warned about this. read more

Beware- this gas station is dishonest. I had an absolute terrible experience with the cashier on 10/16 at 10am. I pushed regular and I noticed the button lit up once and then went dark but gas was flowing. No problem. When I got the receipt I noticed the price was $2.94, premium price. Worried, I went inside with the receipt. I explained my car has never taken premium and I was concerned that it shouldn't be mixed with regular (went to fill up on 1/4 of a tank). I couldn't finish my sentence without the cashier interrupting me to tell me I must have pushed the wrong button. I informed him of his cameras and we can see together if I pushed the "regular" button, but he dismissed this idea. I inquired whether I got premium or regular gas and he replied that it's not his fault and since the gas is already in the tank there's nothing he can do. He left the desk and walked away. So I'm left thinking I either paid $2.94 for regular gas OR they are out of regular gas and just didn't disclose it, so I got premium. Either way that's dishonest and a violation. I am mortified that this establishment tries to steal from their customers. But more upset that there was not even an effort made to accept any responsibility with receipt in hand. You'd think sharing the concern of whether your vehicle can accept premium gas would have at least encouraged this man to offer to help, or at the very least be helpful. I'm planning to avoid this gas station in the future and I suggest you might want to as well. read more

Horrible!! Mechanic is old, grumpy and mean. I usually don't give reviews but he was very rude I would never recommend anyone to them. He did my inspection and I failed came back to fail again but this time it was nothing that I failed for originally it was something new. Took my car in for safety inspection with 25,000 miles which I bought used. Inspector tells me it needs two new tires in the back because of dry rot and has a missing lug nut. Take my car to the tire shop got two new tires and the missing lug nut. Took it back. Inspector comes out, looks a the car while I'm filling up, to confirm the two new tires and the lug nut is there. Took him 2 minutes to visually inspect the two things were taken care of, and charges me $35 for reinspection!! For 2 minutes. He had told me just take care of the two things and it passes. Never told me He would charge me $35 dollars for 2 minutes. The law says a reinspection fee is allowed if he had to put the car up in the air or something. But 2 Minutes! No joke! The tire shop told me my tires were fine too, but I got new tires anyway, glad I did not get the tires from these guys. Don't know why this place has such bad reviews. Went here for MD State Inspection. The owner was very informative, and honest, and very pleasant. Inspection took an hour and a half, a lot shorter than other places had quoted me, and they only found $15 worth of issues, which they were able to fix in a few minutes. I'm sure the fact that I take good care of my car helped the situation, but still felt like they did a good job and were very reasonable. Would definitely recommend others go here for inspections. read more

Sunoco gas stations have four octane levels: 87, 89, 91, and 93. Now, I don't know what the convention for gas price postings on gas stations are in Washington DC area, but in Philadelphia, Sunoco stations generally post three prices, and they are for their 87, 89, and 93 octane level gasolines (conforming to the regular, plus, and super levels). I got fooled into thinking that this gas station was selling their 93 octane level gasoline for 3.87, when in reality, that price was for their 91 octane level. Thus, I got fooled into paying 10 cents more for each gasoline. It seems to me to be a deceptive advertising. I know, I know: caveat emptor.... read more

Absolutely DO NOT get an inspection here or get any work done here at all. They did not even do a full inspection, barely half of one. I know this because when I went to another place after they hadnt even removed certain parts to inspect them, and had put numbers completely off for these categories they skipped out on, put a measurement as 3inch or something and it was 7.5...... an absolute scam. They said I had a leak and broken wiper blades and that it would be 400+ to fix, spoiler alert there was no leak and the wiper blades were like 25 dollars when I left and bought new ones. They also got the VIN number wrong which meant that even if they had done an inspection it wouldve been completely invalid when taken to a registration office. They told me they would call me back with a more exact price and when to come in, and never ever did. I would recommend just about any other place over this one. They will 100% not preform a full proper inspection on your car and will instead charge you 100 to fail and it not check anything. Please go somewhere else, they are beyond subpar. The pumps and kiosk advertise 4 levels of car wash, they don't actually have the basic, very deceptive. Car wash didn't even get the little bit of bird poop off my car, employee told me I could just wipe it off. I brought my car in for MD inspiration they said my one of my headlights beam is lower than the other side and failed my car inspection. To fix it they said they need to take things out to look at it would cost me$130 plus put things back is another $130 plus cost for whatever is wrong that they are not sure. So I bring my car to another mechanic shop to fix the failed item but the mechanic take a look and said nothing was wrong and beam are even both side???
