I stumbled across this garage about five years ago when I called a few shops in College Park to see…read morewho'd do the cheapest Maryland State Inspection. They brought me in with the best price, and kept me as a loyal customer by working efficiently and affordably, telling me when something doesn't need to be done, and doing extras like fluid top-offs and headlight bulb installations at no charge. My latest visit there was today, where I needed front brake pads and rotors. I called a couple of shops near my home and got quotes of $450 and $360 -- Interstate Shell quoted me $270 and ended up doing it for $10 less in the end, well worth a 40-minute drive. You'll get further savings with pretty low gas prices there, too. My main caveat would be that there's no customer waiting area. At various times, I've borrowed a metal folding chair to sit either in the back of the convenience store or the edge of the gas station lot. The amenities of some other shops are nice, but I'm just not going to pay an extra $200 for a cup of coffee.

Unfortunately, when I arrived to the pump, I noticed that the super cheap prices were for cash-only purchases. I guess I cannot fault this business too much for the "bait and switch" because that's what a lot of gas stations are doing nowadays. However, I will say that the prices (from using a card) did not deviate too much from other gas stations in the area. I flocked to this place because the "original" price per gallon was significantly lower compared to other places. However, I received a wake up call once I selected the credit card/debit card option on the pump. Oh well, live and learn...to fully read the cash vs card prices before fully committing to a gas station.

My back right tire was grinding/scraping so badly that I was clenching my teeth every time I drove,…read moreknowing it meant something awful and expensive that I just kept delaying since I didn't have a trusted mechanic. I saw some good reviews for this location, so I drove by on a Saturday right before they closed and chatted with the owner, Brian. He hopped in the car and drove 1 yard, immediately told me what he thought it was, and warned me to avoid driving the rest of the weekend as grinding the wheel in extreme heat was risky. He said to come back first thing Monday morning to get it lifted up and properly examined. Came back Monday and the team figured out I needed to replace the caliper and brakes. Price was fair and they said they could do it same day within 3 hours, so I let them work on it and had them do an oil change as well. I'm very grateful for Brian and his team, taking the time to explain what was actually needed and why, and not overselling me on additional services. I'm so glad I finally found a new trusted mechanic! Will definitely take my car to Brian and the team for all future maintenance services.

I'm so thankful I came across four corner auto care to fix my car…read more Brian (Tenzin) promptly responded to my request to fix my car which I hit against cement in a parking garage (after dodging an old lady walking down a dark ramp...everyone was okay). Brian estimated that he could have my car fixed within a few days. The whole job took one week because he found other significant damage in the interior of my car which I didn't know about. Overall he communicated well, asked if I wanted to fix everything and had such a positive attitude. Also they do excellent work for a reasonable price. I almost wanted to keep this gem to myself but the world (or Silver Spring) needs to know where to go for superior auto care whether mechanical or auto body. They also cleaned the interior of my car. I don't want to come back for anything other than oil changes but if I need a job done in the future, I know where to go. I think the pictures speak for themselves to demonstrate high quality service.

I've given them several chances to meet the level of quality those awards suggest, but the issues persist. The rest of the establishment looks nice from what I can see so that's a positive.

Shoot, I've even gotten gas, ordered Taq Los Primos food and walked next door to LIDL to shop while waiting. It's a trifecta, let me tell you! Now, aside from the other stuff around, there's nothing particularly special about the gas station... Just has its pumps and its convenience store.
