They also said the dentist's office never submitted a treatment plan to get the actual coverage prices and total cost. She told me the reason I waited so long was that she was on the phone with my insurance getting the coverage amounts. NOT! DO NOT go here! Unless you agree to their OVER INFLATED $4,000 treatment plan they won't do anything for you. Funny, my previous dentist didn't say I need all this work done. he always said I have pretty teeth. Darn insurance change! I said I couldn't afford the $1,193 deep cleaning so I'd just take the regular cleaning and they wouldn't do it. They said they'd polish my teeth and that's it. I said isn't a regular cleaning better than no cleaning at all and she said yeah, but that's not what the dr recommends, that it wouldn't address the deeper issues I have, supposedly! I said if they'd do the regular cleaning then when I got the money I'd come back for the deeper one and other treatments, but still no. So, I told them I wouldn't be coming back and they just lost a customer and left without the polishing. I have my own electric toothbrush for that. I formerly lived in McKinney and made the drive to the Garland office and then to the new Rowlett office. A few years ago I moved to Waxahachie, TX, and despite the distance (53 miles, to be exact), I continue to make the drive to Rowlett to Glaser Dental for my regular check ups and cleanings and any and all dental work I need. I know there are tons of dentists in my area, but I am so happy with the care and attention that I get from Dr. Glaser and the staff that it is worth it to me to make the drive. The new office is awesome! The decor is fresh, inviting, and comfortable. Each dental room has televisions so patients can watch their fave shows during their cleanings/procedures and the staff is always attentive to patients' needs. The entire staff is always happy and friendly, the hygienists are very thorough and detailed, and Dr. Glaser is professional and trust worthy. I know that both he and his entire staff really care about their patients and their patients' oral health. We've always paid our estimates at time of service and any additional balances in instances where the estimates may have been slightly off. They continue to state that we have a "family" balance that has to be paid before they will schedule follow up visits. This balance has been reviewed with the business office against the EOB from my insurance in which the EOB does not reflect any patient responsibility. They are trying to balance bill for amounts they should contractually be writing off. This alone has put a bitter take in my mouth and forced me to start looking elsewhere for treatment. ​

I was charged $250 out-of-pocket for a "deep cleaning" that they coded as 4 quadrants, even though only 3 quadrants were actually treated. They also separated and billed procedures that should have been included in the deep cleaning, turning what should have been around $65 into a $250 bill. When I contacted my insurance company, they confirmed that the clinic's billing did not align with the covered services. I've been trying to reach the clinic for the past 4 days -- no one answers, and the number they gave me doesn't even connect. This is completely unprofessional and feels like a scam. The deep cleaning itself was rushed and lasted less than 30 min. I strongly suggest double-checking every code and estimate before agreeing to any treatment here.
