Terrible experience dealing with the front office in the Keizer Oregon location. I went in September to see a dentist for a cleaning and a check up. I opted to see a non military dentist because my experience has never been great while in the Air Force. When I was seen I asked them to complete a form DD form 2813. A standard military form to get you out of seeing the military dentist. They told me it would be no problem and they would send it. Today I called them and informed them that it was never sent. They said it was never mentioned and said they will look into helping do something they said they would do. They said they would redo it and told me it would be available when I got their this afternoon. I came in this afternoon only to be told they have the form and in order for it to be filled out I need to be seen again because the dentist who saw me is no longer there. They didn't bother to tell me that on the phone. Instead they wait for me to show up and waste my time to tell me they can't do what was asked of them when I went in for my appointment in September. They had the nerve to try and get me to schedule an appointment, It was very condescend because if they can't be trusted to do what they said why would I see them again. Front office team is not helpful with problems Staff is constantly turning over. From the moment you walk in the practices and treatment each person needs feels like an effort to shake your pockets out. read more

And when I mentioned I'll reach out when I'm ready to schedule. She had no concerns what so ever. And just sent me on my way. The lack of professionalism is real. I would not use them again. While I had a good experience with the quality of care, my office experience was terrible. This gos back over two years. They were hacked and were unable to even make phone calls telling patients that they were unable to provide service due to the hack. I arrived for my appointment, and was told that due to the hack, they could not provide treatment. I protested, saying that I had not recieved a phone call saying my appointment had been cancelled. As a result, I had to take more time off from work. Then to ad insult to injury, after more than two years, I recieved a letter from a collection agency saying that I owed ASPEN DENTAL $232.00. I had never recieved a bill for this. They just gave it to a collection agency. I pay my bills in full! Now my credit score will take a hit due to their ineptitude. read more

Follow up care was disappointing. Three years after my bridge was installed, it got a hole in the middle of the tooth where you would find a cavity. They said I would have to be seen as a new patient. New x-rays, new exam, etc. $250 just for the initial visit because they don't take my insurance. I went to a dentist who does for a second opinion. He said that the bridge was too thin and normal wear and tear should not have caused a hole. The bad part, besides that, is that I had a cavity under the bridge now, and needed a root canal. None of this is covered by my insurance. Aspen Dental is blaming my poor flossing and dental cleaning for the hole and the cavity. They would not take responsibility for any of it. read more

Would not recommend. Called for an appointment to fix a missing tooth in my denture. repeatedly ask if they were going to be able to fix it got no real answer. They made me an appointment for 830 am the next morning. Drove 30 miles one way just to get a text from them to cancel my appointment after I arrived Said there was no technician available. They said the call center that I made my appointment didn't know that there was no technicians available. I just want to share with them that there are these things called a computer that will hold tons of information for a business! So the call person working to set up these appointments can access to see if there are indeed available technicians for the appointment that they scheduled. Very disappointed read more

Everytime I have tried to call my local Aspen Dental I have to go through a call center first, which is weird. Today they told me before they would even see me for an appointment to start a root canal I would have to pay up front. It's just their policy. I was scheduled to have dental surgery. I'm on the spectrum and have 2 other mental health issues. To be able to even go to the dentist my DR. has to write me for a Xanax just so I can go without a panic attack. The surgeon as well as office staff came into the lobby to tell me they had canceled my surgery because of the Xanax. One, they have no policy that says you can't take your prescription medication, two the surgeon told me, taking my anixty medication needed to even be there was the same as using weed or alcohol. All of this done in the lobby with other staff and people there. We are filing complaints against the surgeon and the office. I was denied care because of a mental health issue and publicly humiliated while they openly talked about my medical care. If I could give zero stars I would. read more

These guys did a terrible job on my tooth it got infected and then they didn't return the emergency pager system for over five days! I went to Beaverton Aspen and had them look at tooth they did a two second evaluation and misdiagnosed the issue! The corporate Aspen had zero interest in any of it! When they responded to the BBB they didn't address the issue but vaguely address a separate issue! These people are way overdue for a huge class action for shady unethical practices! Everyone in the office was very professional and nice to me until I had a meeting with the dental hygienist now I had not even seen the dentist yet but she came in did her job I guess and I told her okay and I said okay let's find out what else has to be done and we'll talk about this and remember I had not talked to the dentist yet but she informed me that they will not do any work on my teeth until I get this periodontal work done and it cost of $3,500 out of my pocket now I don't understand why you're doing this other than I believe to strong arm me after I spoke with the dentist and told her what she had said to me he told me that he would pull the one tooth that was causing me pain but that I would have to have the the dental hygienist do the work before he would do any more work on me again I don't understand how he cannot just feel my tooth and do a crown what the cleaning has to do with it I don't understand again I believe it's just a strong army for more money read more

Aspen dental in Keizer worked with my grandmother for her treatment. Not only did they sign her up for a line of credit she never asked for when I was assisting in trying to get to the bottom of what appears to be potential double billing Julie in the Keizer office told me that if I thought my grandmother was confused then maybe I should visit her more often. This office has been unable to answer any questions I've had to my satisfaction and refused to address the issue of signing up elderly people without them fully understanding ask of the paperwork that was put in front of them. I would never recommend this place to anyone. read more

Leaving a review because I find them not professional and want to warn people. I had a root canal done by them and it was done incorrectly. When I got it redone my dentist tried to get my records from them. Only to be told they had a data breach and no longer have records. Super sketch. I had my root canal done there because I was desperately looking for anyone who could get me in soonest. I wish I had waited for an opening with a better establishment. Be warned. Paid 701.00 dollars for my first cleaning on the 22nd of January, then paid 536.60 on the 24th of January, for a deep cleaning, my insurance was used up on the initial day of finding out what needs to be done. I had to pay out of pocket for both visits. Now, Ironically, cannot seem to get in contact with anyone at Aspen Dental, I received a notification stating that I somehow owe $313.60 for January 22nd and January 24th, which makes absolutely no sense since I previously received another notification prior stating that I only had to pay $25.00. I managed to get in touch with one person and she told me to wait two weeks and the price should change, and not even an hour afterwards, boom, the notification of me having to pay the 313.60, I wouldn't trust this company ever again, they have no idea how to keep up with things and are constantly requesting that you pay more money. For the second time my time was wasted and I was needlessly infuriated along a difficult medical journey, these people scheduled my appointment as absolutely the wrong thing, I needed to see an oral surgeon and when I talked to one receptionist they said "ok" and scheduled me for about a week out, then the day before, I get a call from a different receptionist saying the oral surgeon wouldn't even be in the office that day, the oral surgeon wouldn't be able to see me, and the appointment WAS scheduled but just as a basic checkup appointment. Basically a repeat of my first experience with a different Aspen Dental location. Only that time there wasn't a second receptionist who intercepted the issue ahead of time, I WENT, went through the entire appointment extremely confused, was irritated as to why (since my appointment was with the oral surgeon) they were giving me difficulty on actually seeing the oral surgeon, called later to see what had happened and they explained that I had been scheduled for the wrong type of appointment, and again there was 0 reason that they should have scheduled me for the type of appointment I wanted in the first place. To top it all off, the "dentist" I did see at that one was a shifty little dude dressed in a dingy, colored polo and slacks who had no idea what he was doing, who needed to be advised (dare I say SCOLDED) on what to do by the assistant. Then I saw him outside in the back on his phone smoking a cigarette looking angry right after I left the building. What is wrong with Aspen Dental? Genuinely curious. read more

I went to get my teeth exam. And need to take xray. I have denture that is broken,so the lady that did my xray said I'll take to the lab and see if the guy at the can fixed it. I ask the lady to find out how much and she ask the guy at the lab and came back told me $30. I told her ok go ahead and fixed it if its $30.00 After exam they took me to billing and they charged me $196.00 They did bad job don't fit well and it hurt my teeth I told them I call them bad get it fix But they said don't have appointment. This has been the WORST dental experience I've ever had! From not getting phone calls returned to being treated less than human when I called and needed a quick adjustment on my new dentures after I was told they could "fit me in" if i needed an adjustment.I can't even wear them because they are so painful. Was told that I'd have to wait a week for an adjustment when I expressed my pain the front desk bit my head off. They don't want anyone questioning what they say. I can't wait a week! I start school on Thursday and have no idea how to get my dentures to fit well enough to be comfortable as I've spent every dime that I had at this chop shop! One star is being generous. read more

Over the years, I've been to my fair share of dentists. I will never go back to this office. First, when I scheduled a regular visit, they charged me for services I would receive in the future, and then when I had a problem with a broken tooth, it took over a week to get in, and then all they did was say, 'Yup, you have a broken tooth. Come back in two weeks, and we will take care of it for you.' The billing system is a joke. I had dental insurance, but they charged me full price. Are they incapable of verifying insurance? Just finnished a long frustrating phone call with the billing person trying to find out what I'm paying for/ preauthorizing with no luck! I was only given the cost of part of my service which is pariodontal cleaning. The remainder of my bill is unacounted for! I'm just paying for some undisclosed "stuff" I guess. Do yourself a favor and find a different dentist. Terrible customer service!... They told me on the phone that they were very certain they could address the issue I was having with my teeth, then I get there and come to find out that they can't. Okay, so no big deal, I just figure I'll go to another dentist, which I did. I had a tooth ache. I made an app, to dentist at aspen dental. I was a bad girl, haven't visited dentist for about 12 years. Had no problem with my teeth. After X-rays doctor set up a plan on how to fix my tooth ache problem. He fixed the "problem" tooth. Operantly, it wasn't the right tooth that was aching. He made a root canal on other tooth, then on other tooth next to it. Problems seems to despair. But, I was in constant soreness at the gum area, a bubble appeared at the top of one tooth. My whole top jaw line sore. While doctor going from tooth to tooth to fix the cavities he shaved off tooth so bad that it is near impossible to put a crown on, for Other new aspen dental doctor. The new aspen dental doctor continues experimenting on my problem teeth suggesting dentures, implants. Then he decided leave it as it is with only root canal on two problem teeth. On my next visit the third aspen doctor gave me an answer to the tooth with a bubble above it. He told me that he is not going to fix that tooth that they already put a filling in about 6 month ago, now he sends me to a specialist to make another root canal and wanted to put a crown on it. All those tree teeth they worked on, they screw them up leaving for more problem to fix, for more money out the pocket to fix the propbelm they didn't fix in begging with. One tooth is so sharp, so when I fall asleep and my tongue falls at that side of my moth I get cut every single time from the edge of the tooth. Also doctor fixed one bottom tooth at my left side of the moth. Now it is extremely sensitive to cold, I begin to have pain at that tooth. I don't know what to do. I don't want end up with more problems I came in with. I don't feel that they fix problem teeth, I feel that they create further problems to keep me as a patient. I don't have dental insurance and pay everything out my pocket. I already paid around $5 thousand dollars, how much more I have to pay to get the help I really need? Seems that they milk me for money leaving me one of their permanent patient. read more

I paid $295.00 in payments to their finance company and when I asked to be reimbursed I was told they have to send the check to the finance company and charge me for a temporary appliance which was very poorly made and had to be totally modified to be able to bear having it in place. I saw the dentist because I was swollen with infection and in pain. They were more concerned with scheduling a treatment plan with an Invisalign and a cleaning that they failed to even call in the antibiotics I desperately need for the infection. It is now 24 hours later, I am 10x more swollen and can not even talk; still no antibiotics. I canceled the future appointments with them. If they can not call in antibiotics that are needed, I can not trust them with my future dental work including oral surgery in 2 weeks. read more

1st and LAST Visit here (Keizer Station Mall Location) - Check up / Exam. Staff said I should have x-rays of my teeth which I agreed since it was 2 years since my last visit. They totally misled me into believing that I needed a "3D Photographic image" when the standard xray images were fine. Then they billed me an additional $148.00 later for the 3D image. I was totally tricked into having that done when it didn't need it. My insurance didn't pay any of it. I also had a language barrier with the Dentist and his assistant, -neither were very patient. No inhouse surgeon. That person comes by the office once a month, so I would have to wait several more weeks for a tooth extraction. LATER.... when trying to pay to pay my bill online. #1, the QRC code wasn't working, #2, 1-800 number for help said the system was down and I would pay at the website. #3, I attempted to create a screen sign on so I could pay online. That to was delayed or offline. #4, No one at the Keizer Station Mall location would answer their phone. read more

I was a patient at this office until I realized that Dr Patel didn't have a clue what she was doing. I had oral surgery today and the Oral Surgeon cold not even seat the temporary denture. The denture was made so haphazardly that couldn't even adjusted with out cutting the palate of the denture out. The line in the 2 front teeth are not even centered. Your In-House made dentures leave a lot to be desired. Even the dentist we went to said Dr Patel should be embarrassed that her office is selling garbage like this to patients. This office billing person has totally screwed up the billing. We were billed for procedures and products that I didn't even receive and will NEVER receive, because I will never step foot in this office again. The use a place called Synchrony bank for the Care Credit, one of the worst banks ever. We have already had to dispute the charges that Dr Patel put on the bill. There is a reason this so called Dentist is working for the "Taco Bell" of Dental Offices. She is a Disgrace to the profession of Dentistry. I also got infected by Dr Patel when she cut the inside of my mouth. I have no immune system as I am an Organ Transplant recipient. My Nephrologist had to put me on 2 different anti-biotics to get rid of the infection. I could have very well wound up in the hospital with Sepsis due to this woman incompetency. It's happened to me before because of Infection. This what happens when you deal with a Chain Dental Office. They are on every corner....Just like McDonalds and thats where this dentist should be working. You're an embarrassment Dr Patel and we are disputing just about everything your office has billed us for. The worst dental experience I have ever had. I am 30 years old and not an emotional person and I literally left crying. I have never had a hygienist that was so incompetent. It was obvious she was being trained, although no one told me that or asked if that was ok, and she couldn't figure out how to take X-rays. She ended up cramming the stuff in my mouth and cutting up the inside of my mouth. Tears were coming out of my eyes but no one seemed to notice or care at my obvious discomfort. Everything looked incredibly old, worn out and dirty. No one asked how I was or if I had any questions. They just wanted to tell me about all sorts of expensive treatments that I apparently needed. I went to another dentist afterwards and it all turned out to be BS. Months later I receive another bill on top of my $35 dollar "free" first visit with no explanation. spend about 6 months with Aspen Dental of kiezer Or. Last year. I spent over 2300 dollars and they never had my partials ready. They would not call me and let me know they disnt get them back. I live on the other side of town and i made at least 15 trips in that 6 months. I would say 5 of them i turned right back around and went home. I never felt i was important. I felt like i was a number to them. There was one or maybe two individuals that were helpful and went out of there way. But thay was it. This leads me up to my final straw. I broke off a front tooth. I figured they knew my mouth so i would go back. After the X rays the dentist said that they couldnt attact a tooth to my partial because it was too thin. So they would have to make a brand new one. The total would be 1200 dollars. I was honestly frusrated but i though that i would have to figure it out and come up with the money. I had have an employee that lost a tooth so i asked him how much it was to replace. It was very inexpensive so i decided to try out this other dental office. After the initial consultation the grand total to pull my tooth and ADD IT TO MY PARTIAL WHICH ASPEN SAID COULDNT HAPPEN THE GRAND TOTAL WOULD BE LESS THEN $500. The dentist office that im now going to is called NATURAL SMILES. I highly recommend them. I was treated like a person and they obviously will save me 700 dollars. read more

I haven't had the quality of care ever from any other dentist office in 61 yrs then at Keizer's Aspen Dental. I was treated with over the top car, kindness, patience. Everyone there is fantastic! Specially Dr. G and Barbara! If it wasn't for Aspen Dental and the help they gave me I still would be looking for a dentist. They changed my life! They Gave me Back my Confidence and Beautiful Smile. Aspen - "Dentures in days, not weeks!" What baloney. 3 (THREE) months (MONTHS) for a set of dentures. For 3 grand I could have gone to Mexico, or to Affordable Dentures, and had a few days vacation. 1-1/2 HOURS delay on at least one appointment. A telephone reminder computer that is incomprehensible half the time - but this can't be used to inform patients that they'll be late? (Press 1 to reschedule?) No water for the waiting room, a unisex bathroom with no changing station + depleted or absent paper supplies. Wish I'd read some reviews before going there.
