The licensed dentist in Katy do not abide by their code of ethics. I blindly trusted this office to get a partial retainer. The practitioner insisted on a filling before I have a mold done for my partial. The "filling" is horrible. Thick like cement and impossible to floss around. i've never been more dissatisfied with treatment, the dentist,and the dental assistant. They way over charged me for my dentures. It took a whole year to finally get them right , before that they had me looking like a rabbit and asked me if that was OK. I would go anywhere else rather than Aspen dental cause I know the one in College Station sucks and I would never recommend them to anybody. read more

This office charges me twice for services i received a year ago fraudulently and has refused to handle the situation so i had to file a grievance with my provider. They also don't answer the phone. THIS PLACE SUCKS SO BAD!!!! The negative customer service is unmatched. I have only been to Aspen Dental twice and BOTH times I experienced the worst customer possible. The latest culprits were "Sharlyn" (I believe that's her name) front receptionist and her manager Rose! I went in to reschedule an appt from 7/9 due to the inclement weather and no power on both ends. I was greeted with frowns and advised that I had a no show appt. EXCUSE ME, your office was closed with no power and when calling on 7/8 and 7/9 the voice recording stated as much. After rescheduling my appt I asked if I could schedule the follow up appt for cavity filling and cleaning, told no. Which I accepted initially but the receptionist had such a bad attitude and facial expressions. !!!Like you should be able to control your facial expressions unless you have a medical condition that prevents it!!! I told her to cancel my appt I will go elsewhere and her attitude sucked even for that request. So I left out and came back to ask for my refund for the fillings I had prepaid for. I asked for a receipt and was told I can't give you a receipt, excuse me WHY? I need proof you refunded me, her response was simply "I can't give you a receipt". MANAGER PLEASE!! WAITED 10 minutes for the manager. Manager "Rose" finally showed up to advise she will be with me in a moment... 25 minutes later manager came to the front answered the phone (because the receptionist NEVER returned) made the phone appt, without even addressing me or my concerns. Finally I asked for both names and she wrote them down and said have a good day, with a second thought she asked do I want her to call me. UMMMM MA'AM YOU JUST ADVISED ME TO HAVE A GOOD DAY! YOU SUCK AS WELL ROSE!!! 2 hours later I get a call from Aspen Dental in Katy, answered and then was hung up on.... Not making this up!! Zero stars for sure!!! read more

I had work done in 2022, it took more if there resources and cost on getting the work done. I was to have a follow up check up 3 months later, tried to call couldn't get through as though my number was blocked. I called another Aspen office twice and they said they would pass on my info to call me. Two years later I have not heard anything from anyone. I would not recommend Aspen to anyone. The reason for the one star rating is because I can't give 0 stars. I've been wearing dentures since 1991 and still have my first set of dentures, but it was time for them to be replaced. The last place I had them made was a little hole-in-the-wall dental office. Those teeth are still intact today, over 30 years later. I went to Aspen Dental and had them fit me for new dentures which were done quicker than I'd expected. Although they need to be refit, I never expected my insurance paying that kind of money for them that they would start falling apart less than a year later. You can see by my attached photos that the tooth in question appears to have been glued in place. I was eating scrambled eggs and toast when the tooth fell out causing me to choke and I was able to get the tooth back up. I spit it out into a napkin and when I took a drink of my coffee, something felt strange, so I took my upper plate out and noticed there was a tooth missing. I immediately opened the napkin and found out I had started choking on my own tooth. I phoned Aspen Dental right away to ask about this and they told me I had a 1-year warranty which is up next month. I requested to have the plate repaired and they said they could do that, however, after further thought, if one tooth has fallen out in less than a year, how many more are waiting to fall out after my warranty expires. (Isn't that how things usually go?) They told me that I chose the teeth that I got and that they were nearly $2,500 and that I didn't get the high dollar set. At which time I told them about my 30+ year old set that I'd paid $100 for along with insurance. I figured with today's technology that the quality would have been better, after what they said to me, and having one tooth come out so easily, I'm now worried about the overall quality. So I told them that perhaps it would be better to start over since I am still under warranty and have the plated replaced, not repaired, as I'm concerned all the other teeth will start dropping out. They told me they would have to speak with the office manager and would get back to me as my warranty clock continues ticking away, tick tock, tick tock. This was my first time visiting this location and it was well worth the 30 min drive from Sugar Land. Jennifer was my dental hygienist and Dr. Sandra Rodriguez was the dentist. Both were extremely friendly, thorough and did a great job communicating exactly what they were doing and why. I really appreciated that since most dental clinics I've visited in the past just assume you know what's going to happen. The office manager was also very friendly and did a great job explaining what amount was due after insurance. I can't remember everyone's name I interacted with but I can say that everyone was friendly and for once it seemed like everyone in the office truly enjoyed their job and the culture within the facility was great. I also appreciated how I had zero wait and everything was extremely clean. I highly recommend this location for any dental needs. read more

I hadn't been to the dentist in awhile because of COVID so I was nervous! But everyone was extremely nice and helpful. They were really careful about following COVID protocols- temperature check and questions every time you come in. I'm 6ft tall and plus size, and the chairs fit me comfortably. The office is really nice and each exam room has a tv which is cool. You can make your appointment online and they call you before your appointment to get your insurance info so you don't have to fill out a ton of paperwork when you get there-which is nice. I really love this place. I loathe dentists but I love Aspen Dental. Dr. Rodriguez, Jennifer and Megan were a great team and the rest of the office were very professional. My bottom dentures broke so I went to Aspen Dental on Katy Freeway for a replacement. I have two implants to hold my bottom denture in place but I had always had to use lots of Fixodent to hold them securely. I thought it was normal! It isn't. The new set of dentures from Aspen snap tightly in to place and I no longer have to use Fixodent. My daily life is much improved. But, that isn't all. My top denture still had a soft lining rather than a permanent lining and they fixed that for me too. Now, the top dentures fit much better as well. They also did a sitting adjustment to correct the length it and now I can use less powder to hold it in place. As part of my care, they cleaned my implants. I thought it might be painful but they used a gel to numb my gums and I didn't feel a thing. Poor fitting dentures affected the way I talked, sang, ate and smiled. My new dentures are so much better that they have improved my daily life in each of these areas. I highly recommend Aspen. read more

The staff here is amazing. I was able to get an appointment the same day I called, and get services done as well instead of having to wait a whole week or more for a second appointment. Dr. Chang was very nice and would make sure I felt comfortable throughout the appointment and procedure. Everyone at Aspen Dental, (Katy location), has been compassionate and caring. I've never had a dentist, much less dental staff that were not condescending, rude or pushy about my below par dental health. With an in-house lab, my broken denture was fixed in 45 minutes for an 1/8 of the cost quoted at other dental facilities. New denture should be ready within 3 to 5 days from 1st impressions. I Will never go to another dentist as long as I live and at 45 years old that's pretty nice to be able to say. Go to Aspen Dental, you won't be disappointed. read more

Appt for exam and cleaning was 1145am , I checked in @ 1100am an hour later the desk staff says hey you need to call the insurance ND assign us as your preference 15 more minutes pass I called in the back only to be advised that my exrays will be done but no cleaning I advised this was a waste of my valuable time and began to leave the man followed me out saying we don't have a hygienist on duty and don't know whT type of cleaning you may need sir I only need a regular cleaning nothing extra no pain or issues . They need to close down if not able to service patients no one wants to take off of work several times for what could be resolved in one visit and I noticed several others just waiting long periods of time prior to my arrival and another left out of the office soon after I did seemed Un happy as well. read more
