Excellent work! Everyone was friendly and very professional. No long wait time. I had them make dentures and I am happy with results.

My husband has a lesion on his gum, and he has to see an oral surgeon to have it looked at and biopsied. We chose aspen dental because there are no other oral surgeons in Batavia NY. I called to make the appt., told them our dentist was referring and for what. They got him right in with in days. I wasn't there, because I had to work... They took x ray after x ray, did an oral exam, charged him $200 of a $600 bill, which is well above my copay through BCBS (ILLEGAL), and then scheduled the appt for the oral surgeon, who ONLY COMES IN ONCE A MONTH. My husband asked a few times why all these X-rays were necessary, he already HAS A DENTIST that does all this stuff... they said they couldn't see him without establishing him as a patient. He wasn't there to be a dental patient.... He was there to consult with an oral surgeon, who never even showed up because he wasn't in the building! Needless to say, my husband wasted an hour there, was subjected to unnecessary radiation, overcharged for unnecessary treatment, knows nothing more than he did before he went, and won't be going back. I'll be calling my insurance and credit card company tomorrow. What a SCAM. read more

Watch your wallet!! I went in for an extraction for a tooth ache, and an oral surgeon was scheduled instead of a general dentist. Difference you ask? $330.00 per tooth is the difference. I had the same 2 tooth pulled 2 years ago on the other side of my mouth and it only cost $70.00 each. I was charged $800.00 for two teeth this time because they scheduled the wrong type of dentist. It took longer to numb the tooth than it did for him to pull it! And then they tried to talk their way out of it with medical mumbo-jumbo. So after 2 days and 3 people calling me, with excuses, I lose. read more

They're customer service and scheduling process sucks. I called to schedule an appointment and was told they're taking new patients and they could see me when I asked. This was about a week prior to the scheduled service date. Two days goes by and I get a phone call from the office asking me questions about why I was coming in, and I told them again like I told them on the very first call why I needed service. They said OK thank you see you at your appointment. The day of the appointment I get a phone call saying they were not going to be able to do a filling because its late in the day, and they could do an x-ray only, but the dentist would not be able to fill a small filling. The filling I need fixed is a front tooth. You don't need an x-ray to see this! I drove 34 miles one-way to come to the appointment to now learn they could not provide the service. It's a if the left-hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing and their office is just one big cluster F. read more

Really sick of having appointments cancelled (after confirming) because "no hygienist available". Maybe don't book appointments if you don't have a hygienist scheduled. My time is valuable too and I plan around appointments I have scheduled there only to have them cancelled. read more

I was sued for over 2k for work that was never complete because covid not allowing surgeries.. so im now paying for work that was never done... also told them i only wanted the loan to cover the sugery i needed and without my knowlegde they added more to it... as a LEO ihere in NYS ive made sure to tell as mant LEOs as possible across the state.. police, corrections, and even medics... u got lil over 2k from me for nothin but you will now lose waaay beyond that for being crooks.. read more

Dr. Masood was great. Very nice bedside manner, always checked in with me throughout procedure to make sure everything was okay. Made sure I was happy how it looked after. Hygienists and financing employees all very helpful. Pricing is quite high compared to other places, but financing options were available. Employees even commiserated with the prices. Lol They don't take very many insurances and higher prices is the reason I took off a star. I had an emergency and they got me in immediately that day when my previous dentist no longer accepted my insurance at the time so I'm very thankful. read more

Super nice and friendly staff worked with mr because my insurance wasn't accepted and were genuinely concerned about me getting the services I needed and made sure I was able to be seen. Appreciate everyone working there! read more

Would not recommend for a regular Dentist. They will not Listen to customer in regards to cleaning teeth. They also messed up a crown. I will say the oral surgery was wonderful. Had no problems. read more

Worst service ever. Been two years and still do not have dentures I am able to wear. The dentist looks and asks tech , what do you think??? Shouldn't he know? There s no caring attitude at all. They get their big bucks up front then look out. They told me any Aspen Dental would see and help me, NOT true. They told me I had to go where I had dentures made. read more

My family had a bad experience with this chain of dental offices. Next time I would choose a dentist that has a good reputation

A terrible place to go. My son went there for one tooth with bad pain and needed antibiotics. They took a bunch of x rays, looked at one tooth very briefly, and told him he needed a bunch of teeth pulled and a few root canals with crowns. Then they ushered him off to the financial consultant because the work was going to cost almost 5 thousand dollars. They were pressing him to make a quick decision because spots to see the dentist fill up fast. All in all, it was a horrible experience. All they seem to be there for is to take your money. The saddest part was that there were many elderly people there who are probably being victimized as well. My son will have to go to another dentist to get this tooth fixed properly; Not to them! read more

The front desk staff was very friendly. Once entering into the next part of my dental journey I had some x-rays done and the technician was amazing. When being introduced to the doctor and dental hygentist I couldn't have asked for anything better. Very knowledgeable and listened to my issues as a patient. Once diagnosed with my issues they went right to work. I left there feeling brand new and very grateful I went booked my appointment with them. Amazing job read more

Aspen dental is not the place to go for personal service. Beware of a business that asks for payment up front before service is rendered Never again. Stick to a local dentist. read more

The worst experiences I've had! My dentist has cancelled on me 3 times! I had a series of fillings that needed to be done after more than a few years without dental coverage. At my first appointment I learned that it was scheduled to be a 2 hour appt...only I was told it would be an hour when I scheduled it (I know because I specifically asked how long each appt would take). When I told the dentist I only had an hour he was good about it, which made me feel more comfortable since I then felt like I was cancelling on them in a way. For this appt, the dentist numbed me to an excessive amount- he must've given me 6 shots in my gums total (a few in the beginning and several more later in the appt, even though I wasn't having discomfort). He did the fillings and at the end had me bite down on a thin paper to check his work. Since I literally couldn't feel anything I bit down way too hard and cracked a tooth (I think- he never addressed the loud crack sound, he just went to work fixing it). At my next fillings appt I had a different dentist- a woman. She was much more conservative with numbing, which was a huge relief- and I didn't have any pain. This appt was a 1 hour appt, so no issues there. The issue I did have was that she spent the entire appt complaining to her hygienist about the secretaries up front and problems she was having with other coworkers. There was one particular situation she went into detail about where I guess a man was double booked and they couldn't take him for his appt that day and the man was not happy about it. As I laid there with my mouth open being worked on my the dentist, I couldn't help but think how incredibly unprofessional she was since she just went on and on about whose fault it was...! Fast forward a few weeks to my third scheduled appt which was cancelled by the dentist. To clarify, it is the THIRD time this office has cancelled on me. Of course, I'm sure she doesn't really have an emergency in 3 days...if I had to guess, I'd say she's overbooked and I got the short straw. I will gladly be taking my business elsewhere and you should too! read more

Super clean office, current technology and wonderful staff. Highly recommended! My hygienist was So sweet and so gentle (and fast!!)

This office does not care about the satisfaction of their patients AT ALL!! Their only concern is money. I was actually told by the current manager Megan how the company "has lost money on me" because their doctors had to take FIVE impressions to get a properly fitting cap made for my front tooth. The final product is awful anyhow since you can see the remaining part of the dead tooth through the cap! For the outrageous price I was forced to pay, you would think a patient's satisfaction would be a priority but sadly, that is certainly not the case at the Batavia Aspen Dental. I wouldn't recommend this office to anyone. read more
