Would recommend calling ahead as it can get crowded at times, but I've never had a bad experience with wait times. I'll be going there as long as I'm in the area.

I am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration regarding the service I received at…read moreyour establishment. I arrived right at opening time, and to my surprise, there was no one to greet me. One of your barbers came down the stairs, saw me, and didn't even acknowledge my presence with a hello. When I asked if it might be possible to squeeze me in, he seemed dismissive from the start. I showed him a photo of the haircut I wanted -- I'll attach the image below for your reference -- and kept it open on my phone so he could easily refer back to it. Instead of using the reference image, he brushed it aside. When he started combing my hair, he became visibly frustrated because I had hair product in -- huffing and puffing as though it was an inconvenience to do his job. I clearly asked for a zero, very low fade, and specifically said not to cut the back of my hair at all. My hair was even longer than the style in the reference photo, as I've been growing it out for over a year to achieve a particular look. Despite my clear instructions, he proceeded to shave the entire back of my head, destroying the style I've spent so long trying to grow out. When I told him, "Oh no, you shaved all my hair," he shrugged and continued cutting. I had to stop him mid-cut. What I was left with was not only a completely different style but a haircut that doesn't even qualify as a good fade. This experience was genuinely upsetting -- I was shaking when I left. What should have been a routine cut turned into something that felt careless and disrespectful. I am including the photo I used as a reference and a photo of the result for your comparison. I'd appreciate your honest feedback: does this haircut resemble the style I requested in any way? I trusted your shop based on its reputation, but this experience was far below any reasonable expectation of professionalism or quality. I hope you'll take this complaint seriously and respond accordingly.

Easier said than done as I have tried a few and they did not pass the family test. Enter Antonio and Figaro. Not only is my hair cut astonishingly awesome (I look so good!), but Antonio is one of the coolest cats in town. I am not kidding when I say you will want to get your hair cut more often than normal just to hang out with him. I just moved to the area last year and feel super fortunate to have found the best barber in town. It is the most expensive haircut I have ever had, but damn it is worth it!

Antonio is an experienced, highly skilled, and very precise barber who is equally adept at haircuts, beard trims and shaves. Antonio Botticella is a very welcoming barber: those who enter his studio are warmly greeted and offered refreshment before the service begins. Antonio pays attention to what his clients want and he delivers. Antonio specializes in short cuts in a variety of styles, both classic and modern. Antonio is also a great conversationalist and raconteur: ask him to tell you one of his stories. Antonio's studio is located in the Farragut North area of downtown Washington DC and for a higher price he will travel to his client's local home or office for services: he knows that in this town some VIPs don't have the time to dash out for an appointment. Antonio is in high demand, so I recommend scheduling appointments with him as far in advance as possible. Antonio Botticella may be pricey ($100 for a barbershop haircut; $250 for a mobile haircut) but he's well worth the money spent. You'll leave Antonio impressed. (And you'll impress others with how great your hair looks!)

Having said that, I prefer Domingo ahead of the other barbers. There's never a long wait to get a haircut at Supreme. The vibe is laid-back. I don't know if there is a formal of even informal way to make an appointment, but the general way of business is walk-in first come first served, though you do have the option of waiting until your favorite barber frees up. What I really like about Barber is that the price for a basic haircut is currently $25, the same as it was back in 2019. That includes a hot shaving cream cleanup around your neck. Cash only. It's paid street parking , but Arlington/Rosslyn street parking is cheap.
