Very good! The first time I ever tried. Corned beef eggroll and it was a 10/10. If you're in the area it's a great place to grab a snack.

I'm giving it a 2 star because the meat was fresh and the taste was good . BUT the price definitely do not match the quantity! extra bread is added in the middle of the sandwich to take up space where the extra meat should be. very skimpy on the meat spring rolls tasted mainly dough. They take CASH payments only..... can only imagine why that is; had to go to a nearby gas station to get cash off my card and fight through panhandlers. Its addictive. I only go to ACB because of the Eggrolls so that's my review. Do not let the locations or the appearance of the buildings stop you from getting your ACB!! Its a plain, no frills, order at the bulletproof glass window and wait for your food Some spots take cards, most are cash only...be prepared type place. But its clean enough (says the girl who eats out of taco trucks and gas stations weekly). They wear hairnets and beard nets too. Make sure you order your sauce at the window with your food because they charge extra. My preferred is the thousand island. They have a variety of eggrolls. Most range in the 2.50-4 dollar price range. Theyre worth in my opinion. They are made to order. So its fresh. My favorites are.... Spicy with cheese, its ground beef, cabbage, spicy peppers and cheese. The regular corned beef and cheese eggroll. The pastrami and cheese roll. But you really cant go wrong. Where have corned beef egg rolls been all of my life? I am the perfect target demographic and it took me decades to find Asian Corned Beef. Yes, it is in the neighborhoods of Detroit, but come on folks, spend your money in our largest city. It is easy to find the Wyoming location. It's between the Lodge Freeway (M10) and the Jeffries Freeway (I 96) on Wyoming. The egg roll menu is on the wall and you can order by number. They were out of the Pastrami, so I Ordered corned beef and cheese and corned beef cabbage and cheese. The corned beef is the real deal -- not the Kowalski variety and it goes extremely well inside an authentic egg roll wrapper. My only complaint is that the only "dipping sauce" provided was the usual plum/duck sauce. A deli style mustard sauce would have great. But, the taste was fantastic. A can't wait to return for pastrami and cheese. Well worth the drive and to support a great neighborhood establishment. read more

Have you ever had a Corned Beef Egg roll with Cheese??? Or an Egg roll with Ground beef & Cheese?? Probably not. You don't find these types of foods in traditional restaurants, but Asian Cornbeef is known for just that. At $3/ piece, people eat Corned Beef egg rolls for dinner. I prefer that traditional ground beef/cheese egg roll (mild). They also have corned beef sandwiches (they have gotten smaller since they moved back to this location a few years ago). They serve grilled hot dogs, pastrami sandwiches, pork chop sandwiches, and deviled eggs. Don't forget the desserts which include pineapple upside down cake and chocolate cake too. It is located on Wyoming right off Schoolcraft and there is decent parking. If you are in the area it is near I-96 freeway or 5 minutes from the Lodge (if you are in the area for whatever reason you can call in your order & pick it up). Only a couple of tables to sit at and mainly it is carry put. NOTE: They have an east side location and the spot they are in was there original spot over 10-20 years ago. I ordered 6 egg rolls on 2/20/22. They're $2.75 each which totals $16.50, but I was charged $23.85. I informed the lady that wasn't right, she tells me that's taxes. I told her that's no way taxes is that much. My total should of been $17.49. With an attitude she said I'll just give you your money back. I told her to give me my money back and she's wrong. She began to curse at me, calling me a broke bitch and a bum. Then threw my changes at me through the slot. She needs to be fired. Only one, thought the corn beef egg roll was decent, kinda on the cheesy side, if ur into cheese then yes. I felt like the cheese over powered the corn beef and didnt Really taste it. This is the kind of food inner-city Koreans excel at - fried and tasty, filling and cheap, at the intersection of southern soul food and immigrant street food. Where I grew up, fried chicken hearts/liver/gizzards, "lake trout" (not trout, and not from a lake), etc. were a staple of inner city Baltimore (not crab cakes!). Not sure how Asian Corned Beef came to be, but it feels very familiar. A big empty waiting room behind a wall of 3" bulletproof glass (which I haven't seen much in Detroit; Jamaica Jamaica is another) through which you pay and get your food through a tiny revolving door. Sad to see, but the cost of doing business, I guess. It was packed when I got there, and clearly with regulars - lots of friendly chatter with staff and owners as they ordered. Juicy corned beef, tender, peppery ribbons of pastrami, and other deli meats mix with cheese in thick, crunchy eggrolls (two to an order), with more traditional sides (cornmeal fried okra was made fresh), and not much else. Probably terrible for you, but absolutely delicious. In Ann Arbor and East Lansing, No Thai's "Nogi rolls" are similar, but pale in comparison. Will try the deviled eggs next time. Totally worth it, though my wife was uncomfortable bringing the kids in (last time we'd seen so much bulletproof glass was in Compton) and didn't think much of the food. I am just a "fan" It was good. The devil eggs were ok- nothing really special. I felt that 2 for $1 is expensive for a small deviled egg but whatever. The best was the Cornbeef and Swiss - my go to I felt like it wouldn't enough because I was really hungry so I order the beef and cabbage and it was ok. Holy. Actual. Shit. Their corned beef sends me to outer fucking space. I live a solid 30 minutes away from these guys, and once a month I make note to take an hour out of my day to drive my ass to Wyoming street, get 6 corned beef and cheese egg rolls, and eat every one of them. Then spend the next 6 hours hating my life because my stomach feels like its tied in a knot. 4 out of 5 stars, the only reason why I don't give it 5 out of 5 is their lack of presentation, the restaurant looks and feels dirty, and it seems like they can't handle high traffic very well. The CBC (you'll know if you go) is pretty damn good. My wife, her friend, and I went here on her friend's recommendation. I was a little skeptical about trying a cornbeef egg roll. Not gonna lie, I was opposed to it at first. I will admit, I'm willing to try anything once, so I gave it a try. The CBC was MONEY!! It was great! The cheese, cabbage, and corn beef make this eggroll worth the trip (we were visiting family in Detroit. We came from DC). Certainly nothing special and in reality, fairly mediocre. Went there for lunch and split 4 different egg rolls and also got 2 small fries. First the egg rolls-They were uniformly tasteless and what tastes there were was off. There was no freshness and a doughy aftertaste. The outside wasn't crisp and the inside had no texture. really disappointing. The fries were under cooked (a couple of mine were still cold and hard inside). The only condiment offered with the egg rolls was that wretched "plum sauce" in the clear plastic squeeze packages. Out of all the new Asian corn beef locations east and west, I can be deep east in grosse pointe or far west as Westland and I will go to this location for my corn beef egg rolls. Don't quote me but I think this is the first location. The prices haven't changed much but your gonna pay for every duck sauce. Its newly remolded from the old decor that was in here for years which is a plus. Please if your looking for corn beef egg rolls please come to this location. They almost always have some ready fresh out the fryers but your special order(which I think this location is the only that does all kinds) will be ready in minutes. Asia corn beef has around for years this location seems to be the best . The quality at the location on Grand River seems to be lacking overall the eggrolls often duplicated never gets old great taste and original unlike some other trying to copy. read more

I walked into the location on Wyoming during my lunch hour and ordered 2 No. 1 corned beef & cabbage egg rolls, 1 No. 2 ground beef & cheese, and 1 No. 15 steak & lobster. I asked the proprietor if they were marked because one of these items was for someone else. She replied, yes. Although I checked the bag before I left to see if I had 4 egg rolls, I did NOT check to see if the packages were marked. Upon arriving back to my office, I saw that they were not in fact marked, but I gave my co-worker one of the CB and kept the other 3 for myself. The corned beef & cabbage egg rolls were doughy, the ground beef & cheese egg rolled was burned through and through so much to the point that it was rendered dried out and if there was cheese, I couldn't taste it. The BIGGEST disappointment, however, was the steak & lobster egg roll. There was no lobster at all! I believe this is the reason she didn't mark these packages because she KNEW I wasn't receiving what I ordered. I called her and expressed disappointment about the doughy egg rolls, after which she told me to bring them back and I could get a refund. By this time, my co-worker and I had already eaten them. Otherwise, how would I know how badly they tasted! Ultimately, she told me, "If you no like it, go somewhe' else!" Not very good, considering all the hype of reviews, I agree with other reviewer, pricy egg rolls, pre cooked. They were hot, but not very much corned beef in them, seemed like more cheese, than beef.
