My wife actually found a small bug in the desert tray... I cannot say ut was a cockroach, but it was just nasty. A fly insect, or whatever should not of been any where near the food or on it...

We went out planning to get Mexican in the area but on a Friday night it just didn't work out so we went back to the hotel and walked next door to this place. It's bright and clean and we were seated right away. The staff was very friendly and attentive. They have lots of options from appetizers to entrees, sushi, hibachi, and dessert. Everything was fine but to be honest many of the chicken dishes tasted pretty similar and none of it was particularly hot. It's a buffet so our expectations weren't very high but it turned out to be fairly decent. We finished our meal with some little ice cream cups and walked out full. The price was reasonable at about $51 for the three of us.

We just ate here for dinner. All four of us loved it! Everything was fresh. You could see the steam coming off the food. The tables and floors were clean. The honey chicken was my favorite. The cream cheese wontons were to die for. We will be returning soon. PS: Not sure what the pink fluff raspberry dessert is cause it wasn't labeled but that was very really good too.

We don't really like buffets, but this is the best Asian food we've encountered here. The Hibachi is the best! You choose your veggies, meats (chicken, shrimp, or beef), and have a choice of 2 noodles. Delish and freshly made. The egg drop soup is also good, and every week there are some new items. Today, pork chops Chinese style. And sesame seed coated nuts!! The seafood veggie dish today was particularly good. Great service. Senior discount keeps us coming back.

Broccoli beef, Fried shrimp, chicken nuggets, coconut shrimp and California roll.

I'll cover the staff first. Everyone is very friendly, and attentive. Our table was cleared quickly, refills were offered before drinks were empty. The overall impression of the staff is excellent! The buffet? Fresh, clean, and tasty!!! Also they had a great selection. I tried quite a few different dishes and all but a few were great. So why only 4 stars? One dish I mentioned that wasn't great was the chicken wings. It still had some pink to it. Obviously that can be a big deal. Everything else was cooked perfectly. The peanut butter pie was not to my liking, at all. However, it was great that the waitress asked if I would like a cup of coffee with my dessert. Overall, I highly recommend coming here. Friendly staff, efficient, and a very clean appearance throughout. If it seems like I'm raving about this place, I am. It's a great feeling to walk into any establishment where everyone feels welcome and it's apparent that the people here take pride in what they do.

He stated that someone saw us putting food in baggies. When in reality, the baggies where cotton candy that I did not finish. So I took it with me, and my 76 year old mother put the roll that she did not finish in the baggy of my cotton candy. He persisted to say that I had food in my purse when I opened my purse and showed him that there were no other baggies with food in it. I felt humiliated disgraced and not even an apology from him. We normally eat at Golden Corral, at least 3 to 4 times a month. Not any more that's for dam sure. for me this is so humilium, so disrespecting. Tomorrow I will take them 3 dollars for taking the cotton candy and the dinner roll cuz I am an honest person that should not have been treated like a criminal. It's sad that that general manager was hard up for a cotton candy and a dinner roll.

Prices were about what you'd expect, nothing crazy. The desserts were just as solid--very tasty and a great way to wrap things up. Our waitress was super nice and always nearby if we needed anything, without hovering. Overall, a great spot to swing by even if you're just going for drinks and dessert. Definitely worth it.

While on a Southwest road trip, we found ourselves spending the night in Las Cruces, New Mexico…read more When we asked the staff at our hotel for a local dining recommendation, they pointed us toward the historic village of Mesilla, just south of Las Cruces. It turned out to be excellent advice. Mesilla is a charming, historic community with an unmistakable Old World feel. Founded in 1848, it once served as the Confederate capital of the Arizona Territory and is perhaps best known as the site where the notorious outlaw Billy the Kid was tried and convicted of murder in 1881. Today, the village centers around a picturesque plaza surrounded by beautifully preserved adobe buildings, shops, and restaurants that make it well worth a visit. One of Mesilla's most famous restaurants is La Posta de Mesilla, which has been serving traditional New Mexican cuisine since 1939. Over the decades, it has expanded into a sprawling 17,000-square-foot complex made up of a maze of interconnected dining rooms. Its menu is built around century-old family recipes featuring the renowned red and green chiles grown nearby in the Hatch and Mesilla valleys. After what felt like a two- or three-minute walk through the restaurant to reach our table, we ordered margaritas and waited for the customary basket of chips. I added an order of chile con queso along with both the red and green salsas. Our drinks, chips, and salsas arrived promptly. The salsas were pleasantly spicy and packed more heat than the average restaurant version, something I appreciated. Unfortunately, the chile con queso never arrived. After unsuccessfully trying to catch the attention of one of the busy servers, we finally flagged someone down to remind them. By the time it reached our table, our entrées were only moments away, leaving little opportunity to enjoy it with the chips. My wife ordered two tacos with rice and beans. I chose the Folded Tacos--three deep-fried folded corn tortillas filled with seasoned ground beef and chicken, then topped with lettuce, tomato, and shredded cheese, served alongside refried beans and rice. So, how was the food? It was simply okay. Nothing on either plate stood out. The dishes lacked the bold flavors, vibrant presentation, and satisfying textures that make New Mexican cuisine so memorable. That said, my sampling of their food only included two plates. Perhaps another entree would have delivered a more authentic taste. Service added to the disappointment. It was slow, disjointed, and often difficult to find a server when we needed one. Since we visited on a Sunday evening, it's possible the restaurant was short-staffed, but regardless of the reason, the overall dining experience suffered. If you're visiting the Las Cruces area, don't miss Mesilla. It's one of southern New Mexico's true gems and absolutely deserves a stop. As for La Posta de Mesilla, It's an experience and could be worth a visit.

We got the Teriyaki Chicken, BBQ Pork, the last dish was chicken with veggies - there are a few flavor options for this, such as Bourbon Chicken, Kung Pao Chicken, Mushroom Chicken, etc. I got the Kung Pao. The food was pretty good. However, the chicken in the Kung Pao was kinda gross. It looked like it had been chewed and put back in there. Taste was "off". The Kung Pao is supposed to have some "heat" (flavor) to it, though it wasn't hot at all. Which was fine. We chose to get the meal without any added sauces. And everything was really good without sauce! The reason we do this is 1) Keto diet (sugar) and 2) (possibility of) MSG. Although, I don't think, from what we had, which was grilled with sauce, that there is MSG in their sauces. If so, very little. I can taste MSG, and I didn't taste it. The meats (except the Kung Pao) had a nice grill char to them which enhanced their flavor. We chose this place for lunch knowing that it was cafeteria style (dished/served by the employees) particularly, because one has only so much time for lunch when they are working. So it worked out very well. Very fast, with hardly any wait at all. I saw that one person who reviewed was upset with the cafeteria style service... I'm not sure what his qualm was. It isn't like random people are breathing on the food. It is the same people that cook it, so what is the problem.. And yes, food is served in styrofoam containers with plasticware. It IS a "fast food" Chinese restaurant afterall. Is it my favorite Chinese place in town. No. At least not at this time. Would we go back? Absolutely!
