This is my return to the area and wanted to give my second review of this place. Someone was Definitely listening to my advice and concerns! I even tried the Mongolian Cooked food that is cooked while you wait. Delicious! Now I had to try what I tried my first visit. The food is Hot!!! Not cold or warm this was definitely Hot and ready to eat! What a complete difference and worth the time to send Management a shout out for making this happen Quickly! Thank you and I would recommend this place as long as the food is hot. Overall 4 star review. The location is being painted so I will try back in a few weeks to see the progress. read more

Oh my goodness! Terrible. I actually spit food out. Pretty empty when I was there. I would guess it will be going out of business. read more

It was ok. Lots of items to choose from. about 1:15 on Sunday. Place wasn't too busy at first but then it did get busier closer to 2PM. Food was sort of bland. I found the teraki chicken to be the best with lots of flavor but the general Tso's chicken = meh. Eggroll , dont bother. Seems most of the thicker breaded items also lacked flavor and the temps seem as if it items had sat too long . You can get sushi or have Mongolian bbq cooked for fresh and that would probably be the way to go. bill for 2 people with tea was $42.39 if we go back we will consider the Mongolian cooking. read more

The food is absolutely awesome the buffet is especially good the dessert is decent. The ambience is really good very very welcoming 10 out of 10 would definitely recommend this place read more

Always a good vibe. Lots of options for gluten free and really delicious foods. Their management is super helpful and welcoming!

My first time at this buffet. Oh, I've never lost my appetite first plate. The foods seem and tastes like it has been left out for a while. Besides the crab legs, they are decently good, and a little long wait, but that is fine. It is not recommended to serve ice cream for your children. That scoop is left in the cream water without being replaced. Service-wise, the waiter is friendly, but the manager seems unfriendly. The restaurant is decently clean, and the restaurant is very classic, not the best-decorated restaurant around. (Not an issue). $15 is not bad because of the crab legs makeover for those foods. read more

This place has a really good variety and a very extensive Mongolian bbq I love this place highly recommend

Food was good, lots of variety. They have a Mongolian bar, sushi bar, and hard serve ice cream, in addition to a large variety of Chinese dishes. The salt and pepper shrimp were particularly delicious! Everything was very good! read more

They have a great selection & have a great rating/score from the health department. I'm pretty sure they use MSG which is why I give them 4 stars instead of 5. My ankles & wrists swelled up after eating there. read more

I'm giving this 4 stars, because this is the best Asian Buffet I've ever been to! Now of course, don't get your hopes too high, it is a buffet! We went in & I asked if I could go take a look at the food before I decided & the woman at the front was enthusiastic about letting me look for as long as I needed. Have a great vibe when you walk in. The crab cream cheese ragoons are so so so amazing!! I love those things! The sweet and sour chickens are amazing too! They have plenty of variety & a grill where you can pick what you want the chef to cook for you. This is a great concept but you also have to pick spices and sauces & had no idea what to pick so mine didn't taste that good cuz I didn't put any seasoning . They have a sushi bar with variety in it, but as a person that only likes the fried sushi there was really nothing of interest there. They did have something fried, which was not labeled and super cold. So didn't even end up trying it. They have a salad bar, and plenty of fruit& a bit of desert cakes as well as soft serve ice cream that you typically find in any Asian buffet. read more

Asian Buffet - I eat my body weight in these when I go! Crab Ragoons - Sushi Bars Near Me - Amarillo, Texas

Fast service, my cup will and is always full with my drink , they have many options and a lot to pick for and not at a big price!

Will not be returning. Came in three hours before closing and ignored from the second we walked in. Doughnuts were rock hard. Was followed and watched while making my plate at the buffet (Creepy). When I got to my seat there was a piece of metal in my noodles. After getting up to find a waiter he called his boss and offered 15% off my bill. I could have cut my mouth. Completely unprofessional and an obnoxious experience. read more

Asian Buffet - Metal found in Lo mein noodles. - Sushi Bars Near Me - Amarillo, Texas

First time here and the older lady who greeted us was very aggressive, she called me four eyes and was loud towards my two friends and also said things about their appearance. She made one of them super uncomfortable but my other friend and I loved the energy. Next time we're here we're matching the energy. read more

Imagine a dystopian future. America has fallen to a power from the East. The new masters round up the uncooperative and put them in detention camps for re-education. This is the food served in the camps. I do not have a sophisticated palate but only the most unimaginative overlord wouldn't come up with a better menu to keep the prisoners from rioting than old dry fried meat with a sugary syrup dumped over it. Truly the chiefs have bought into the idea that Americans don't care what you serve them as long as it has a lot of sugar in it. It's typical Asian Buffet done badly. Lots of Krab meat dishes. There's a foul odor about the place suggesting decay. Pondering the source, I've decided the proprietors cultivate the odor as the ensuing slight nausea discourages over-eating. read more

Good food but the staff is something else... very rude to be exact. We told them we had waters and they tripled checked because that's how badly they wanted to charge us... read more

We went here today because Golden Corral is packed and we're trying to avoid crowd as a safety precaution for the ongoing pandemic. However, the restaurant staff don't observe social distancing and sat people next to our table and then another group next to them and so forth. The couple next to us were coughing which made us even more uncomfortable so we had to leave asap. Now they charged us $40 for a supposed 4th of July special menu and let me tell you, nothing is special, no crab legs as promised, I don't know if they were out but I see the empty tray of supposed crab leg. All the food there is whatever they serve everyday and I can tell the vegetables and imitation crab are old and probably not safe for consumption anymore. I remember they didn't open right away after Gov Abbott announced that restaurant can reopen and when we looked on the door there is a notice from city sanitation office. The only improvement they've done is the toilet but the quality of the food and dining area has gotten worse. Bottomline is we're not going back. read more

The food was decent. I took a trip to the restroom and found a worker rinsing her hands for about 2-3 seconds and took off. I followed her out and saw her touching the spoons from the buffet area without gloves. I wouldn't go back based off of that experience. read more

Waiter was rude.He never cleaned our table and refilled our drink during dinner time even he wasn't busy at all.He acted like he didn't want to serve for us and didn't give us the bill and lucky cookies read more

Good clean atmosphere. Friendly staff who are always smiling and eager to assist customers. The kitchen staff are frequently replenishing the food displays. A vast variety of foods available. I was pleasantly surprised to find Mongolian BBQ, sushi bar, salads, and traditional Chinese foods. They even had Dim Sum which I haven't many restaurants carry any more. Great experience. We'll be back. read more

Asian Buffet - Sushi Bars Near Me - Amarillo, Texas

As the other review said, it is definitely better than China Star (which I like) and Lin's (which I hate). I like Asian buffets though so the "typical greasy Chinese buffet food" is okay with me. All of the standard stuff was good. I didn't try the Mongolian grill but I'd assume it's good too. I've never seen an Asian buffet with so many different kinds of fresh sushi. The sushi wasn't phenomenal, but it was a few notches better than what you get at grocery stores. When it's all you can eat, that's about as much as you could hope for. I'll be going back. read more

I was just passing through Amarillo on my way to Albuquerque and stumbled on this restaurant through yelp. They have amazing Chinese buffet style food. I left very satisfied and full! The service was great. Frequently asking to refill drinks and take away empty plates! If I'm ever in Amarillo, I'd definitely give this place another go. read more

Overall decent Asian buffet. Enjoyed the Mongolian grill, though a little over done but was pretty busy! Sushi bar had good selection but since they were so busy, had issues keeping sushi out. Towards the end, the had almost all replenished. The regular buffet part was good, well stocked and what you would expect to see at this kind of buffet but the frog legs were a nice change. A lot of seafood options considering. Would go again. read more

Food was good, I'm a little selective over my food. I didn't try the sushi, I like my sushi fresh I don't ever try it at buffets. Sweet tea is good. I will come Back. Oh! the location could use a more a better cleaning. There was food splashed on walls and booths. read more

The restaurant was very cold felt like I was in the North Pole. Food was good a as a PF Chang microwaveable plate. I'll rather go to Panda Express anytime. I'll rather eat ramen noddles from my house. read more

Three words will adequately describe the flavor of the buffet choices: bland, greasy, and too salty. Being new to the Dumas-Amarillo area I was exploring my dinning options. I will not recommend this place unless you have a desire to feel utter disappointment or just want to have that distinctive cheap Asian food odor adhere to your clothes and hair for the rest of the day. read more

The manager was awfully rude. I asked her if I could get regular price for a buffet which is $10, I asked this because she was charging $16.99 just because they had crab legs. Which I gotta plate and ate one and couldn't finish it it was just awful. I recommend that you do not eat at this place. Very bad experience. read more

From out of town and was looking for a good asian buffet. Nothing beats the one back home. This one wasn't too bad. The toilets in the restroom were all disgusting, otherwise, the food was good. read more

It's a Chinese buffet...as expected there is a wide variety of food. I recommend sticking with the sushi and Mongolian bars. The food is freshest there. Temperature and freshness of buffet food items was spotty at best. They put rice chips under some of the food (like the fried squid) which prevents it from staying hot. Maybe on a weekend they're busy enough to keep the food hot and fresh. read more

Prabably the best buffet style asian food in the area. They even have a Mongolian style grill with fresh meats and ingredients.

We have gotten take out, which was piping hot when we got home and dined in. Both were wonderful!

Horrid. Straight up. Only thing in here worth money is the fresh stir fry. Everything else in the shop was dirty. Party room stinks like urine. Wallpaper falling off the walls. Gross AF , will learn to cook Asian food so I never have to go back. Used to be awesome but no money spent on maintenance. Buffet food was cold and old. Multiple steam tables were broken. Unsafe to eat here, health Dept should close. read more

Have not been able to go since before Covid. Went today expecting what I remembered, good Asian buffet. What I got was soooooo much better. They are on top of their game here. Everything was hot, fresh, delicious. Service was great! I highly recommend you stop in. They are the best in Amarillo. read more

Very mediocre food, service. Would not recommend. Food not fresh out of half the dishes and no service.

Honestly the food was pretty bad it was so bad that I only took two or three bites and left. The girl that I was with barely ate any of it because it was so nasty. By the way it was $30 for two are you joking!!! A soft drink costs 2.50?? The price definitely did not match the quality of food. The service is what you would expect from a buffet. read more

TERRIBLE... All of the food was cold. Rating was an "F" brought up to a "B" and still horrible... Should had known better. Lesson learned..

Open Xmas so I went, good selection with Mongolian grill and sushi in addition to seafood crab & frog legs, deserts etc but food wasn't as good as it looked...either flavor or temperature was off or texture/toughness...like pork ribs look good but more like char Siu, hot sour soup was medicinal flavor? And some food was luke warm though I came near opening...3.5 stars read more

Terrible food. There wasn't really anything that I could say was great. Wasted a ton of food. Should have followed my gut and turned around when I saw they got a health rating of "C". read more

If you want the super power of shitting through a screen door, then bon appetit! Just walk through the joint before you even order, your common sense will tell you to move on. My wife begged me for months to try this place. Needless to say I was right (as usual). All three of us are now sitting with our fingers crossed to see who gets the diarrhea...yay! read more

The quality just keeps going downhill at this restaurant. The crab legs were over cooked and nasty margarine instead of butter to dip in. The price is way too much for the poor quality of food. Every time we go we say we won't be back, but this time honestly we won't be back. For the same price you can eat at Tokyo just down the street and have a great meal. The waitress was sweet and did a good job but that's about all that was pleasant with our dining experience here read more
