This is my return to the area and wanted to give my second review of this place. Someone was Definitely listening to my advice and concerns! I even tried the Mongolian Cooked food that is cooked while you wait. Delicious! Now I had to try what I tried my first visit. The food is Hot!!! Not cold or warm this was definitely Hot and ready to eat! What a complete difference and worth the time to send Management a shout out for making this happen Quickly! It was ok. Lots of items to choose from. about 1:15 on Sunday. Place wasn't too busy at first but then it did get busier closer to 2PM. Food was sort of bland. I found the teraki chicken to be the best with lots of flavor but the general Tso's chicken = meh. Eggroll , dont bother. Seems most of the thicker breaded items also lacked flavor and the temps seem as if it items had sat too long . You can get sushi or have Mongolian bbq cooked for fresh and that would probably be the way to go. bill for 2 people with tea was $42.39 if we go back we will consider the Mongolian cooking. read more

My first time at this buffet. Oh, I've never lost my appetite first plate. The foods seem and tastes like it has been left out for a while. Besides the crab legs, they are decently good, and a little long wait, but that is fine. It is not recommended to serve ice cream for your children. That scoop is left in the cream water without being replaced. Service-wise, the waiter is friendly, but the manager seems unfriendly. The restaurant is decently clean, and the restaurant is very classic, not the best-decorated restaurant around. (Not an issue). $15 is not bad because of the crab legs makeover for those foods. read more

I'm giving this 4 stars, because this is the best Asian Buffet I've ever been to! Now of course, don't get your hopes too high, it is a buffet! We went in & I asked if I could go take a look at the food before I decided & the woman at the front was enthusiastic about letting me look for as long as I needed. Have a great vibe when you walk in. The crab cream cheese ragoons are so so so amazing!! I love those things! The sweet and sour chickens are amazing too! They have plenty of variety & a grill where you can pick what you want the chef to cook for you. This is a great concept but you also have to pick spices and sauces & had no idea what to pick so mine didn't taste that good cuz I didn't put any seasoning . They have a sushi bar with variety in it, but as a person that only likes the fried sushi there was really nothing of interest there. They did have something fried, which was not labeled and super cold. So didn't even end up trying it. They have a salad bar, and plenty of fruit& a bit of desert cakes as well as soft serve ice cream that you typically find in any Asian buffet. read more

We went here today because Golden Corral is packed and we're trying to avoid crowd as a safety precaution for the ongoing pandemic. However, the restaurant staff don't observe social distancing and sat people next to our table and then another group next to them and so forth. The couple next to us were coughing which made us even more uncomfortable so we had to leave asap. Now they charged us $40 for a supposed 4th of July special menu and let me tell you, nothing is special, no crab legs as promised, I don't know if they were out but I see the empty tray of supposed crab leg. All the food there is whatever they serve everyday and I can tell the vegetables and imitation crab are old and probably not safe for consumption anymore. I remember they didn't open right away after Gov Abbott announced that restaurant can reopen and when we looked on the door there is a notice from city sanitation office. The only improvement they've done is the toilet but the quality of the food and dining area has gotten worse. Bottomline is we're not going back. read more

Good clean atmosphere. Friendly staff who are always smiling and eager to assist customers. The kitchen staff are frequently replenishing the food displays. A vast variety of foods available. I was pleasantly surprised to find Mongolian BBQ, sushi bar, salads, and traditional Chinese foods. They even had Dim Sum which I haven't many restaurants carry any more. Great experience. Overall decent Asian buffet. Enjoyed the Mongolian grill, though a little over done but was pretty busy! Sushi bar had good selection but since they were so busy, had issues keeping sushi out. Towards the end, the had almost all replenished. The regular buffet part was good, well stocked and what you would expect to see at this kind of buffet but the frog legs were a nice change. As the other review said, it is definitely better than China Star (which I like) and Lin's (which I hate). I like Asian buffets though so the "typical greasy Chinese buffet food" is okay with me. All of the standard stuff was good. I didn't try the Mongolian grill but I'd assume it's good too. I've never seen an Asian buffet with so many different kinds of fresh sushi. The sushi wasn't phenomenal, but it was a few notches better than what you get at grocery stores. When it's all you can eat, that's about as much as you could hope for. I'll be going back. read more

It's a Chinese buffet...as expected there is a wide variety of food. I recommend sticking with the sushi and Mongolian bars. The food is freshest there. Temperature and freshness of buffet food items was spotty at best. They put rice chips under some of the food (like the fried squid) which prevents it from staying hot. Prabably the best buffet style asian food in the area. They even have a Mongolian style grill with fresh meats and ingredients.

We have gotten take out, which was piping hot when we got home and dined in. Both were wonderful!

Three words will adequately describe the flavor of the buffet choices: bland, greasy, and too salty. Being new to the Dumas-Amarillo area I was exploring my dinning options.
