Best fast food Chinese restaurant in town. I have lived here all my life & the only other Chinese place comparable to Asia Kitchen is in Lake Mary. The food has always been good. The only reason I am giving this place 4 stars is because they're closed on Mondays but for good reason (to do a thorough clean of the kitchen). Also, if they say 20 minutes & your picking up, sometimes it's more like 30. Other than that...this place is great, the food is always on point & taste fresh. So glad after all these years I have found a decent fast food Chinese restaurant. read more

I have to say I'm terribly disappointed at the food I received today from Asia Kitchen. The Hibachi steak was worthless and certainly not worth 14.99 It was raw, not cooked in middle, nit pink but raw and chewy and no flavor. I've ordered food many times, never a problem but after waiting over an hour and calling in my disappointment, I was told they would give me 8oz steak on my next order. General Tso was not spicy, ordered the Shrimp & White Wine sauce but received the brown gravy which I'm sure is a honest mistake, but was looking forward to trying the white wine with shrimp. I used to love this place when it first opened but my last few orders where meh. I tried the Bao buns again first time great last few hardly any meat or veggie mostly a dough ball. Kimchi chicken I used to like until the veggies just became carrots and onion (used to have cabbage and some zucchini or something else). Hot and sour soup I used to like as well but it was bland the other night. The staff is very nice but quite slow for later in the evening (not the weekend). My poor experience was due to very poor quality chicken. It was all dark meat and rubber like. I wasn't able to eat it. I cut open the pieces and couldn't believe that it was all dark meat. I tried this place because of the good reviews, maybe it used to be good. The rice was also lacking flavor, however, when you would open the container had a funny smell. I will never try this place again, I will not give my hard earned money to a place trying to hide dark rubber like meat with breading and sweet sauce. read more

I am writing based on my experience as a Doordash driver assigned to pick up a late night order for a customer in Winter Park. Got to the place around 8:50pm Sunday night and told the counter staff that I have a pre-paid and placed order ready for pick-up. She referred to the online delivery tablet and said to me that they didn't receive notification of that order and would have to punch it in from scratch... wow like really, WTF?! That's a big major strike not just for me but also for the customer since this is going to prolong the unnecessary wait for her order. Anyway after another 25-30 minutes of waiting (and it wasn't a big order at all, just sesame chicken, order of wings and Chinese donuts), I finally received the order from the counter girl who gave me no ounce of sympathy or apology for the long wait which I was not surprised at all. However I've been told by my customer whom I dropped off the order afterwards that this business is notorious for their horribly long and low quality service so I will for sure know next time not to accept any more future food delivery orders. read more

Ordered for lunch at work through Foodsby (first time trying this place)...pretty disappointed. This cost me $11.50. I wanted to sub extra veggies INSTEAD OF rice, but had to pay an additional $2 for extra veggies. The chicken was over cooked/tough/dry. Only thing that made it edible was the sauce. Absolute garbage service. Accepted a Door Dash order, then closed their doors early before the dasher could pick up the order. They did not even reach out to let us know... the dasher showed up and had to personally reach out to Door Dash to let them know what was going on. We got delivery today. There was a storm, so we were the jerks that called for delivery. But they were super nice about it. The food was very tasty. I had the Pad Thai, my husband had the beef lo mein, and we shared the appetizer sampler. They were big portions. The prices were reasonable and the driver and woman on the phone were nice. I also liked that there were different types of Asian food such as Japanese, Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese & Korean. My husband didn't like the fried shrimp in the sampler, but I really enjoyed it. The combination rice was full of shrimp, pork, and chicken but the rice tasted like card board and had no flavor. The egg rolls were the same. Stay away from this place. I have never seen a Chinese take out restaurant that tries to be so deceiving and something more than it's not. First of all, they try to trick customers into having the "Hibachi". I have tried it and it does NOT taste anything close to Hibachi. I'm wondering if the other reviewers have ever been to a real Hibachi place in their life. Just stir-frying some meet and vegetables and trying to pass it off for Hibachi to up-sale is just plain DECEIVING and WRONG. The lady in the front is the most awkward Asian lady with broken accent I have ever seen. Seriously, sometimes it's okay to be friendly to your customers, but this one just makes you feel completely awkward and you're already wanting to get out of there as soon as you step in the restaurant. As soon as you walk in, you realize the clutter and messiness in the kitchen. Disgusting. They say they "Close for Cleanings" on Monday, but I doubt it. Don't have your place have an open kitchen view if you don't plan on keeping it clean, because it really is disgusting. Bills and different clutter just taped on the walls. Another funny thing I noticed is the rag-tag Ikea shelf on the right when you walk in, is not even right side up. They placed it there on it's side and never noticed. My father and I get Chinese food as a tradition every Christmas. After moving to winter park this was the only Chinese food place let alone restaurant that was open. The food was OKAY. I used the online ordering and entered my information correctly as I rechecked it after the delivery. They managed to screw up my address even though I typed it. They managed to mess up my order again after my verifying it on the web site and them calling and verbally verifying it. After all that, the food was disappointing. After my poor experience last month (see my prior review), the owner contacted me and asked for another chance and offered to remake my meal. Since we live out of state, I just resolved not to go back. However, we returned on another trip to the area, and I was hungry for some Chinese food, so I decided to take her up on the offer. Since my first visit I have adopted a fat-free, vegan diet, and I have had good luck with Chinese restaurants, so I was anxious to see what they could do. The young lady at the counter was much more competent and friendly than the one on the prior visit. The really good news is that the meal was decidedly better. They made a Szechuan tofu dinner for me that was pretty good (although I wasn't fond of the substitution of zucchini for broccoli)! The brown rice was fluffy and cooked just right, and they seemed genuinely interested in accommodating my dietary needs to the best of their abilities. I really haven't found any better Chinese food in Winter Park, so, based on this experience, I'll likely return upon my next trip to Central Florida. read more

We had a very pleasant experience with the online ordering system. We ordered online, they called to verify & about 40 minutes later we had dinner. They also have a square so you don't have to give your credit card # over the phone. The food was fresh & flavorful - be careful of the heat on the Orange Beef, it comes spicy & not the faux spicy, of most resto's, it's pretty hot. We ordered from My Asia Kitchen for the first time with quite a large order that fed two families. Overall, the food was well prepared with large portions and was delivered on time and still hot. The only miss I thought was the Pad Thai, which was a little more onion-y that I would have liked and the peanut sauce for the summer rolls was a little too think to dip. However, the low mein, pineapple fried rice with pork, Mongolian beef, and sweet and sour chicken were spot on and some of the best Americanized Chinese was have had.
