The filling was creamy and sweet like I like it! And they were not skimpy on the filling either. The wonton was nice and full. The dipping sauce was interesting, but in a good way. As soon as I removed the top off of the sauce, I immediately smelled the notes of tangerine. Such a pleasant aroma and nice twist on the usual sweet and sour sauce that's served. The sauce complimented the rangoon very well. I love coconut shrimp so I had to try the coconut lobster roll. What a treat! I was blown away by how tasty it was. It comes with 8 pieces and it's $14. It's topped with lobster salsa and coconut shavings. I loved the presentation and the flavor! You can taste the coconut shrimp (nice and crunchy) and the creamy coconut sauce. Superb dish for sure! We were in Brooklyn for a funeral and needed some place to go. This was a very good choice. My daughter, her friend and I all stopped here for dinner. Everything was very good. I especially enjoyed the tuna tataki. My daughter loved her salmon teriyaki, & her friend enjoyed the naki udon. I loved that this was a pan Asian restaurant with lots of choices. Great lunch specials. At this Asian fusion restaurant, We tend to get sushi here and occasionally Japanese like katsu or Chinese dishes. You can do dine-in, delivery, or takeout. The food is excellent and consistent. The staff is very friendly and the food is always ready when they say it'll be. Cash or credit. Dining in is fine with very few customers; the ambiance is nothing special with typical decorations. You can watch the sushi chefs in action. There's a bench outside to wait for takeout, which I use when I've got my dog with me, but no outdoor dining. Love this place! Most food is dairy free. Plenty of gluten-free options. Take Out Review: While I have never been to Asia Harbor in person, I have ordered take out from them countless times. They have always been reliable, quick, and friendly whether I order lunch, dinner or late night munchies. I recently ordered lunch via Seamless. I ordered a soup, app, and entree. My order was delivered piping hot and well packaged within 35 minutes of placing my order. The delivery person followed my instructions and dropped off my order directly to me. The Food Arrived piping hot, well packaged and hot. The Singapore noodles had the right amount of heat and was full of flavor. They did not skimp on the ample chicken, shrimp and beef. The shumai and dumplings are always good. Delivery The delivery drivers are always friendly and professional. I've never had an issue! Overall: Definitely check them out! Ordered pick up and takeout from here. Both times were super enjoyable and hit the spot. They have a great selection across Asian cuisines with delicious end results. I would still rather order Thai from their dedicated Thai cuisine neighbors down the block, but if you're in the mood for a place that can crave multiple E/SE Asian food cravings at once, then this is a great choice for the area. He has lived near this place for years and was really set on taking me here to try it out. We shared a few appetizers and got our own entrees. The service was good, but there was only one girl for both hostessing and serving so that made some things take only a little longer than if they had another person on with her. Regardless, the girl serving us was very, very nice- and we had no problems with our meal. The restaurant could be a place where you pop into with a casual outfit, or you could dress it up a little... but *note that it is a small dining area. It's a good spot for a quick but satisfying dinner. I've so far only eaten takeout from here so I can't speak to the dine in experience but I'll definitely vouch for the food. It's one of my go-to spots for sushi. The fish is fresh, they have plenty of options to choose from and the price is very reasonable. They're also surprisingly quick with the delivery. Sometimes convenience is more important than quality and that's when I end up at Asia Harbor. It's easy to quickly pick something up for picky eaters asking for different cuisines at one restaurant (sushi for one, Thai dish for the other) but it won't be the best sushi or Thai or Chinese you've had. While I enjoy the ambiance of the restaurant I think my last meal here had unfortunately turned me off from ordering sushi from Asia Harbor for awhile. I don't keep up with when restaurants get their fresh fish from suppliers (is there still a specific day when you should stay clear?) but my sashimi dinner on a Wednesday night here was just too far from fresh. The rubbery texture of the fish was not good and a lot of my chirashi bowl pieces went uneaten. I ordered some appetizers from Asia Harbor and they were quite delicious. I got the Shrimp Gyoza, spicy crunch shrimp roll and Haru Maki. I started eating the shrimp rolls before realizing I didn't take a picture yet for a review. It was very well made, fresh and tasty and they did fill up the bowl so excuse my picture if it looks like it is missing some in the bowl lol. It's hard to compete when there are four Asian restaurants on two blocks, so here's what sets this one apart: they're open until 11pm (that's later than Thai farm and the sushi place), and they have both indoor and outdoor seating (unlike the sushi place). The sushi is actually quite good, and they're fast. There's a vegetarian section of the menu, but beware: the sweet potato roll comes doused with eel sauce, unless you order the vegetarian sushi combo, in which case they don't add the eel sauce. So if you want just the sweet potato roll, be sure to specify! They're generous with wasabi but sparing with ginger. Excellent service, and they were happy to explain dietary stuff. If you order miso soup as a appetizer it's twice the size of the miso soup that comes with an entree. They have a whole fusion menu, including Thai food, teriyaki and tempura, as well as a lunch menu. Prices are very reasonable for what you get. We liked the way the edamame weren't covered in salt (although one member of our group took care of that by dipping them in soy sauce...) It looks like there's only a table for two outside, but they were happy to move more tables and chairs outside to accommodate us. If you sit outside, it's considered to go, ie they don't do table service with plates etc. There's a gender neutral restroom indoors. read more

I think Asia Harbor is just the right name for this business, as their menu is made up of dishes from numerous Asian cultures. I picture little ships pulling up to the landlocked storefront with crates of General Tso's Chicken and Pad Kee Mao, fishermen catching those dishes ready-made in nets right out of the sea. I've only ordered delivery once and need to try more, but I think most of what they serve can safely be considered Americanized. Not in a bad way! Just know that's what the deal is. You can find Thai, Japanese, Sushi, Ramen, Chinese-American, and even some Malaysian shout outs. Their shrimp shumai are standard, would order again. Ditto for their miso soup. Both the eel avocado and salmon avocado hand rolls were good. They won't win awards but they were fresh. Good Thai iced tea (it's rare I have a bad one, they're so straightforward). I thought their green tea tiramisu was great! The texture was odd, they must store it at a very low temperature because it arrived almost freezer burnt, with an ice cream like consistency. But once it warmed up a bit you could taste the green tea and it was creamier. What I like most about this place is that you can satisfy your craving for multiple things without ordering from different restaurants. Chinese food is not supposed to be healthy but this restaurant seems like it might have accomplished the impossible (not really though). I've never been so excited to write a positive review because - well - writing negatives are way more fun. I'm not just going to tell you 'the food was good' because it's impossible for me to describe the taste. You'll have to try it to understand why the reviews here are so good. Allow me to explain. General Tso's Shrimp - pure art. A container filled to 80% with just shrimp. These must have been king sized, carnival prize winning, tiger shrimp. There were some 12 pieces in here and I shed a tear for the lives lost for my hunger. These shrimp tasted like they were born, raised, educated and literally chosen today for my gratification. Tender, soft, perfectly seasoned - the best General Tso dish i've ever tasted in my entire life. Szechuan Style Shrimp - contained some 9 pieces of jumbo shrimp + 9 pieces of broccoli. Now if you've eaten at other restaurants or even at AM Thai Bistro, you know that the shrimp never makes up more than 10-15% of the container's contents. The shrimp are tiny and undernourished and you'd be lucky to have 6 small pieces of shrimp in the entire container. Here? 9 JUMBO pieces so fresh it seemed they must have been fresh caught out of the Atlantic while the shrimp were lifting weights. The broccoli was so green and fluffy that I imagined a hydroponic broccoli farm on their rooftop. Delivery time was literally 15 minutes. I don't even understand how that's possible. I don't know what to say. This is the best restaurant and i'll never be able to eat at a better one. This is both happy and unhappy but i'm glad it's happened. read more

As far as takeout Thai goes this place is a solid 4 stars. Nothing flashy but still worth the money. I'd also like to add how quickly they got me my order. My go-to here is the Salmon Lover, an eel avocado roll, shrimp tempura roll, salmon avocado roll, alaska roll, spicy crunchy salmon roll, and more salmon sushi/sashimi.
