After about 30 minutes, during which I figured they were just setting up their tree rigging, I was surprised to find that they had almost finished trimming one of the trees, just using hand tools. I was happy to learn that Ashton had landscape construction knowledge, and had worked with the wholesale nursery before, and had the equipment and crew to get the whole project done. Most importantly, they were willing to take it on, even with scheduling picking up and delivering the mature tree from Hilo. It was impressive to watch it all happen. Because my yard is solid bluestone under a few inches of dirt, two machines were brought in to excavate a 3 foot deep, 5 foot diameter hole. Then the 85 gallon tree was delivered, and with entire crew involved, the tree was artfully maneuvered into place and planted. The tree is healthy and happy and I am enjoying the much needed shade. Gave Ray from RNB a call to come by to check it out and get an estimate to cleaning up those nasty roots and make an evenly slope with gravel. He came in no time and gave me a good estimate for the front yard and also a drainage problem in the driveway area. Scheduled, there was good communication through out the process.
