I was happy to learn that Ashton had landscape construction knowledge, and had worked with the wholesale nursery before, and had the equipment and crew to get the whole project done. Most importantly, they were willing to take it on, even with scheduling picking up and delivering the mature tree from Hilo. It was impressive to watch it all happen. Because my yard is solid bluestone under a few inches of dirt, two machines were brought in to excavate a 3 foot deep, 5 foot diameter hole. Then the 85 gallon tree was delivered, and with entire crew involved, the tree was artfully maneuvered into place and planted. The tree is healthy and happy and I am enjoying the much needed shade. After about 30 minutes, during which I figured they were just setting up their tree rigging, I was surprised to find that they had almost finished trimming one of the trees, just using hand tools. They took everything down so that we could see much better sunlight in the area where the panels will go, stacked up the cuttings neatly, right where I had requested and we're done quickly and quietly. The break was before the church so there were no other shut off valves. We wanted the repair to be made before the next Sunday's church service. I contacted Dawn and received a quote that same day.
