Ordered some seating last year - was delivered in December. It has developed some issues that should 100% be covered under manufacturer warranty. I filed a complaint for a faulty frame and upholstery on furniture I purchased and have had in my home 7 months on 2 pieces and 4 months on a third piece. The customer care team contacted me to let me know they would have the frame repaired but that they do not cover any upholstery for any reason. Further, they sold me an extended warranty on the furniture and lead me to believe it was a no questions asked, we'll replace the whole thing for any reason. It turns out that coverage is through a 3rd party and they determine if the product is covered or not. I spoke to the initial representative who was less than useless, just reading a script for why she can't help me. I asked for a manager, who she pushed back on connecting me to. The manager, Bridgett (she would not give me an ID number, last name/initial) behaved in the same way. When I asked who her boss was, she refused to tell me, claiming she was the highest possible authority in the customer service area. After trying to explain that their definition of "normal wear and tear" is so broad as to exclude any possibility that they might have produced a bad batch of product and realizing she wasn't going to do anything to help me (she refused to put me in contact with anyone else at the company) I hung up and googled the corporate offices. Their automated system is essentially a feedback loop, trying to send me back to the same people. I've done business with Ashley several times and have not had this kind of issue, though their delivery service is garbage as well - nothing ever arrives anywhere close to when they quote you. UPDATE: my furniture never came. They scheduled a delivery and no one showed up then they told me it was never coming and that they would refund my money. I am standing in the store 45 days later trying to get my money back and they are making me wait in line. So basically they will take your money and never give you the furniture and then refuse to refund your money. ASHLEY SUCKS!!!!! UPDATE: Now 3 months later and still no refund! I met another customer in the store today with the same issue and we are meeting this weekend to sit outside and warn all potential Ashley suckers. SUCK IT ASHLEY! Would give 0 if available. I visited Ashley Furniture store recently. I found items I was interested in and came home to measure. Called the store to order the items. They emailed an invoice that I paid. Furniture arrived and the quality is not the same as I saw in the store. Some of the drawers are difficult to open and close. Called today to return the items and was told that the pieces cannot be returned. No where in the invoice or discussions with salesperson Felix was this major information about returns discussed! I would never have ordered furniture that cannot be returned for a refund! I have tried to call the manager there to discuss. He is always "with a customer" and will call back. No call back. DO NOT buy anything from this company especially over the phone. They do not tell you or send information that the items you order cannot be returned. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS STORE! I started this experience from hell by purchasing the couch six weeks in advance. They delivered half a couch six weeks later. Over the course of another 6 weeks they made up lies and denied my wishes to return the (half) couch. I had to text my sales boy every week to remind him half of it was missing. He supposedly checked in on the progress, but never got back to me on the delivery date. Eventually he started to ignore my texts, and I had to drive out of my way to go to the store location to get answers (they do not answer the phones lines). He was supposed to start a transfer process from another warehouse location for the remaining half of my couch, he lied bout that too. There was no transfer initiated. I found this out after a week of him "checking up on it". The store manager "magically" found the missing half, but they canceled the delivery an hour before it was supposed to be delivered. After six weeks I canceled my order and returned half the couch. The store manager was supposed to cancel my whole order, I found out he did not when I did not get my money back. I had to call corporate 3 times and report the transaction as fraud to my bank to eventually get my money back a month after returning half the couch. This is the biggest scam of a company. Unless you have the time and energy do to the job of the employees, as they can't seem to figure it out themselves, I would not recommend buying from them. Terrible experience. I put a bedroom set on layaway and decided to cancel. You have to cancel at the store you bought the furniture from, The store manager Christian can process the cancelation but refuses to do it. He keeps telling me that Rebecca is not available and she has to action the cancelation when he can do it himself. Horrible customer service, horrible management. He's at the store and when I went in person to do the cancelation no other customers were around so he had plenty of time to take care of it. I called this am again, my cancelation is still not done and he still refuses to do it. I don't want your furniture I don't and will never do business with these people. They are also overpriced and be ware once you walk in the store even if you tell them you want to leave they try to pressure you to stay. I ordered a sofa from Ashley's furniture. I paid with a check, (Big Mistake with this company). I found two of the sofas I was really looking for the following day and went ahead and ordered them from another store. I called to cancel my order and the order was cancelled. That was good, but I have called 3 times and was told my refund would come as a check. I cancelled my order the end of August and now 5 weeks later I still do not have my refund that I have been told two times was on its way and should be there September 21, 2021. I called today 9/29/21 and was told by a very kind salesperson named Nicole, that I had been issued a store credit instead of mailed a check. I was relieved to clear up the mistake, but it is still 3 more weeks before my refund check will arrive!! I am very upset with the lack of professional accounting and accountability of this company. I'm praying the almost $900 check will arrive in 3 weeks. Thank you Nicole for your help. Please proceed with caution when purchasing from Ashley's home store. After chasing them for a few weeks, we get a delivery date and they bring the wrong furniture. Just know that customer service is none existent with this company. Our experience in-store was great (which is why this is 2 stars instead of 1). Our delivery experience was absolutely, unacceptably terrible. It is detailed below if you care to understand why this is a two-star review. We purchased a bedroom set, which included a king bed. The delivery occurred one week later. The delivery guys told us that they were only given a headboard and footboard for the bed, but no rails; we would have to call support to see when the rails would be delivered. I called and the support tech told me the rails were scheduled to arrive a few days later. The next day, I get a text to confirm a delivery date that is *one week* later, not a few days. I call support to find out why the delivery date was pushed and to confirm that the delivery date would not be pushed again. One week later (on delivery day), I hear absolutely nothing and no delivery truck arrives. I call support the next day and find out that the bed rails aren't supposed to arrive for another two weeks. As a side note, having to call Ashley support for anything is equally hellish. You are guaranteed to be on hold for a minimum of 8 minutes, and 2/3 of the time the call just disconnects around the 10 minute mark without anybody picking up. This was my consistent experience the three times that I've had to call them throughout this delivery process (for a grand total of being on hold for greater than one hour across all attempted phone calls and disconnecting 7 times). read more

Lastest email from the Manager Another ER ticket was placed yesterday ticket #454273 to have armless chair brought back in system so refund can be completed.  The warehouse has 48 hours to complete request so store can process refund.  Someone will inform you once it has been completed.   6 week and they are ssying a chair has to put back in inventory. We called to that Saturday to see what our time frame was, we were told that it wasn't going to happen that day.EVEN THO THAT IS WHAT WE HAD SIGNED AND PAID FOR! They call us LAAAAATER that evening telling us it's coming Wednesday 2/7/18 (as if we don't have to go back to work) Called ALL day Sunday to see if there is anything we can do for Sunday, but Eddie,Lisa,Tim aren't able to anything EVEN with their manager title. They DON'T return calls and ohhhhhh boy do like to keep you on hold. Update: I'm still dealing with this it's been about two or three months, and they are not even taking responsibility for it. I sure wouldn't want anyone else to go through all this mess just for a mattress base. I went to Ashley furniture store in sugar land Texas. We purchased a bed and a 2 twin size base for our king size bed. Whenever we were buying it we were told it will come with a connector that will sync the two bases together when it goes up. When I received it the base it didn't have a connector so the people that delivered it called and they said no worries we will order another base with the cable and we can just keep the base we received and wait for it. When we received the bases the 2nd time it still didn't have the cable. So I called back and the girl that sold me said I'm sorry I didn't know this was supposed to come without connector. There's nothing we can do about that. If I knew it didn't come with it I would have never bought it in the first place. Ashley furniture wouldn't refund my money nor send me the cable. I called the manager at the store someone Named William claimed to be the manager said we chose the bases and because it's "inexpensive" base it doesn't come with it. I told him your employee told us it does, how was I suppose to know what the base comes with.I didn't even pick it my self sales representative Amanda is the one that said this will be the best base and it comes with syncing cable. If I'm being told it comes with it then I would expect for the base to come with what I was told. I'm not going to spend another dime after being lied to. When I was telling them about my situation I could hear the sales person laughing in the back about my problem.When I call and ask for manager they put me on hold and I have screen shots of how long I just waiting for the manager to pick up. After speaking to the salesman, we were assured that they would price match and beat the price by at least ten percent. Well, unfortunately, the sales manager, a sniveling person named Bernie, stepped in told us that if we found a better price, we should go there. We mentioned that we were ready to pay cash and he then said... and I quote,"we're a multi million dollar company, do you really think we care about fees?" I could not believe what I heard. When we asked to speak to someone above him, he actually told us that he ,"was the man to make the decision" and after turning around to walk out, he passive aggressively said, " and remember that I'm the sleep doctor and I make the decision". Never shopping here again! Do yourself a favor and buy your furniture somewhere else!! I ordered patio furniture 3 months ago and have yet to receive it, although I was assured I would get it 3 weeks after it was purchased. There was a day about a month ago that I had to take off of work because there was a "scheduled delivery" in which no one showed up. I had to call to inquire why our furniture was not delivered and it turns out it was on back order for another month, but no one bothered to communicate this to me. For this mistake I was told that I would be issued a $149 refund for the delivery fee, however after three attempts to call and notify them that it has not shown up on my CC statement, I am convinced that the refund is in fact a lie. When my furniture was delivered on the second delivery date, my order was only partially delivered. I was informed by the delivery guys at the time of the delivery that one of our chairs was still on back order. This has turned into such a joke. No curtesy from this company, no follow through, and it's nearly impossible to get anyone on the phone to discuss issues. They still owe me $149 but will not give it to me. I will never in my life shop here again. We purchased close to $30,000 worth of furniture from here. Being ensured that we would be taken care of by this business and it was quite the contrary. Our purchase was made back in April and we still have not received our nightstands that we purchased with our bed set. Our salespersons Claire and Akon assured me that I could reach out to them for assistance and I reached out right after the order to clarify things and no response. We received a notification that our nightstands would be here by July 8th from the delivery department and nothing arrived. Then received another for July 28th and nothing has arrived. So I've been calling them since early July about this particular order. This doesn't include our wobbly dresser we received or our bed frame that doesn't stay in place. Customer service blamed the salesperson and offered me a $50 compensation for the inconvenience but that's just not going to do it for me. I've spent way too much money here for no one to have a answer to where my stuff is or think that $50 will buy me off. Spoke with nick the customer service manager and his offer to resolve the matter was to "put it at the front of the line" still with no answer to where our nightstands are and a $95 compensation for my $995 nightstands that still haven't arrived. Had no energy to make this experience any better. Needless to say we will not be back. read more

We purchased a new bed from the Sugar Land location. Our salesman, Felix, was wonderful to deal with during the purchase, but the everything after that during delivery and customer service was terrible. Our bed arrived with a badly damaged headboard, so we needed to reschedule delivery of another one. Spoke to customer service, who told me they would call me the next day to schedule a new delivery time. Well, they never called me. What they did do, was send us an email with a delivery window that was totally unacceptable for us. When we called them to complain and schedule a better delivery window, the lady on the phone was not willing to work with us, at all. Not very apologetic, and was just very matter of fact, like that's just the way it is, and there wasn't anything she could do. Didn't offer us anything for or inconvenience, or willing to work with us in anyway. We just had to sit there and take it. If it wasn't for the 10% restocking fee (another "screw you" to the customer) we would just cancel the entire order. But, they definitely won't be getting our money again, because will never come back to shop at Ashley Furniture. We will actually be in the market soon for new living room furniture and a dining room set, but we will be getting that somewhere else. 0/10 Would not recommend. read more

I called and they told me the run around, everything is not ready, we'll give you a call, email, message, and nothing. Last week I spoke with Linda and she was trying to get my my last pieces last week so to my knowledge my delivery was there waiting for me. I made the mistake of giving Ashley a second chance. Warning if you don't want to be disappointed or given lip service, go somewhere else. On May 23rd I went to the store and was greeted by a nice gentleman who assisted me in looking for a sofa and love seat. He was very pleasant and took his time as my wife and I looked at several of the different sets. We decided on the ones we wanted and the salesman began working up his paperwork. He then went over options such as warranty for spills or stains. Everything was going good until I said. "When can it be delivered". The response. Well the thing is this model is currently out of stock. So you don't have any? Right. So why is it on the show room floor? Well they have to make them. I told him. You could at least have a sign that says out of stock. Without knowing when I could get the furniture I told him to go ahead and cancel the order. But he says. Hold on let me talk to my manager. After about 15 minutes. The gentleman comes back and says great news. We can have the furniture delivered on June 9th. I said how is that possible? If you don't have it. He says my manager talked to the warehouse and they are putting a rush on it. Ok, so I take him for his word. They are in the furniture business, he must know what he's talking about. I accept and we finish our transaction and I walk out with a happy wife..... June 9th no furniture. I was able to get a hold of the salesman and he said. Sorry it will be June 12th. We wait until the 12th. On that day I get a email that the delivery date is now June 19th. On the 19th. No furniture. So I try to get in contact with the salesman. No luck. I call the store. 713-221-4040. No answer. Called several times. No answer. Just the automated answer that says to hold. After 8 minutes it hangs up (I did this several times). Looked at the ashley reviews. And others had the same problem. No answer) on June 22 I get a call from the delivery dispatch that tells me my furniture will deliver on June 26th. I asked the nice lady if she could guarantee that. With a reply, sorry. No I can't. On June 25th I get an email that my furniture will not deliver until July 3rd. I just expected to be let down again at this point. The morning of July 3rd I get a phone call from the delivery dispatcher. Yes!! I thought. They are actually calling to let me they are on their way. The person on the phone tells me they can't deliver the furniture until July 7th. Thanks. Finally. It showed up. July 7th. The delivery person has me sign the paper work and asks "how long were you waiting for this" I tell him I was given about 5 different dates. He says. Yeah that's about right. ??? One of my issues with this. Is the initial store visit. If the manager of the store is actually telling his sales team dates to expect deliveries. And to tell the customer what they need to, to make the sale. If any of those sales people become supervisors or managers. They are going to follow what they were taught or observed from their current manager and continue this poor leadership technique. And Ashley, hire someone to answer your phone at the store. If I could give this place -5 stars I would. Disappointment is a complete understatement. This place SUCKS!!! DO NOT SHOP HERE. Customer service suck, no one cares about you. They want to help you until they get your money then they kick you to the side and basically tell you to deal with their mess up on your own. Ordered a table with 6 chairs and a bench almost 2 months ago, they finally delivered the table a month later with only 2 chairs. When we asked about the rest of our purchase the delivery guys were clueless and said they didn't know anything about it. Called the store multiple times, good luck getting to talk to someone. After multiple phone calls, they finally told us that they will deliver the rest of the chairs and a bench. The day of the delivery Ashley furniture called and said that now we have to wait another week for them to deliver. We ended up going to a store and the only person that cared to help us was the manager Chad. He told us the rest of our items will be delivered the next day. Next day no one shows up, we had to driver over an hour to a warehouse to pick up the rest of the chairs and bench. When we got to the warehouse, the workers there are also incompetent and don't know what they're doing. When we asked who the manager was? They just laughed sarcastically, didn't want to help and then lied to us, that they didn't have any chairs or bench. When the manager finally came from completely different department, he said to get us the chairs as there were 24 of them in stock . We were absolutely shocked and flabbergasted because just minutes ago they told us they didn't have any. So not only did we NOT get our items delivered, we also had to drive to Ashley store, then to the warehouse that's over an hour away. Then we had to pick up our items and then assemble everything together. Save yourself trouble and take your business somewhere else, where they value their customers. This will be our last purchase. This place is completely horrible! I ordered a loveseat and chair and waited for it to be delivered at my house in the three hour window. It never showed up. I called the delivery number, corporate, spoke with the store manager and they are all complete idiots. They have no idea what is going on! Last time I will ever order anything from them. I ordered couches several months ago and same terrible delivery story and they were at least nice about it and refunded me the delivery fee. This was the Katy store though. The Sugar Land store manager should not be a manager, terrible customer service. They should refund me my hourly rate I make at work plus the delivery fee for their huge screw up. Customer service is bad, they delivered part of my order and on delivery I was informed that the rest was back ordered , If I was informed about that I would have made them complete the order before delivering it as its hard to take time off. The claim that the records show that they did inform me and then said that they only knew about the backorder one day before delivery. I bought my furniture from Ashley in Sugar Land around February of 2021, literally a day before the freeze we had in Texas. It was already going to take 6-8 weeks to have everything delivered, but ended up getting delayed even further. My sales associate promised multiple discounts of which he showed me on his screen and luckily I took the pictures of on my phone. They said once all my pieces come in I will see that balance change and reflect to the discounted price. THIS STILL HAS NOT HAPPENED YET (though I have asked to get this taken care of multiple times)!!!! The worst part is my gliders on the bedroom set are mostly all messed up and I requested a ticket be opened which it was (before my one year warranty). The technician came to my house to inspect that and spoke barely any English, but called his boss and told me I will have to call and get gliders ordered on all my furniture pieces for my bedroom set drawers. So on 05/04/2022 I called and they said my ticket has been closed because the technician said everything seemed fine. They said the ticket cannot be reopened because the technician said it looks fine and they go by his word, when he told me something totally different. I went to the store and tried speaking to the Manager and I have not heard back yet. It has been a freaking year since I purchased this furniture and my problems have only gotten worse with Ashley and their bad customer service, not any better. Now I am stuck with two side tables with broken gliders and god knows if these will even ever get fixed. I am not asking for anything extra. All I wanted was for Ashley to fix what they delivered to me that was messed up and to honor the discounts they said they would WHICH NEITHER HAVE BEEN DONE. Had I known this was the case with Ashley I would have purchased my furniture pieces from another store honestly. Before Ashley bought out Finger Furniture, Finger used to have the best customer service and warranty and never gave issues. So I have to write a follow up and add a few stars to a previous 1 star review. Deanna took over 2 months getting my parts delivered but Arturo came and fixed my daughter's bed and it's like brand new!!!!! Arturo was excellent and he fixed the bed in less than an hour. Ashley Furniture may just have redeeemed themselves. (HORRIBLE!!!!! We bought my daughter's bed 2 years ago and we decided to move it because we were looking for something underneath. What I found when we removed the mattress were warped bed rails and ZERO screws to hold the head and footboards to the siderails. My daughter was able to lay on the bed for 2 years without hitting the floor because she's only 105 lbs. But when we took the mattress off the bed literally fell apart!!! The foot and headboard would no longer connect because the screws were never installed AND the rails were warped. I reached out to customer service and they told me to pay for an inspection then I would have to cover the cost of repair. So I reached out to corporate and spoke to Deanna and she agreed as a courtesy to send me the repair parts so that I could fix it myself. Well after 45 days I still have zero parts, haven't heard from Deanna and my daughter's bed finally ended up ON THE FLIPPING FLOOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank God we had an extra bedframe in the garage. The footboard is leaned up against the end of the bed and we managed to push the bed against the wall so that the headboard doesn't crack her in the head. I am sorely disappointed in Ashley Furniture's quality and horrible customer service. This is very disappointing. Did I tell you I bought a dining room set and the screws fell out the bench cushion COMPLETELY!!!! So its totally no longer attached and we purchased it the same time we purchased her bedroom set.) read more

Update: Still no refund! Avoid this place like the plague. We may have to take some legal action to get our money back. Beware! My wife and I purchased some furniture from Ashley way back in June 2020. They gave us a shipping date which they didn't honor. They gave us a new shipping date which they didn't honor either. I canceled the order and requested a refund. I was told it would happen in about 10 days. It's been more than 21 days and I still haven't seen the refund. Takes forever to get through to customer service and they're no help once you do. I guess I'll have to go to the store and confront the manager. read more

We bought couches and a chair. Couches were great. The chair was just too small. I called and spoke to Karen who told me to come pick out something new and they would credit me for the chair. Nice, right? She failed to mention the $129 fee. They are trying to call it a delivery fee but there is no wait​ around it. So let's play a math game. Original cost: $337 plus tax charged to a card. New chair is $729 plus tax minus 10%. So the total amount they want me to pay? $489. Alright lets keep in mind that I have already paid $364 on my card. That is not refunded. Now I am going to pay another $489 for a grand total on my card of $853. This is for a $729 replacement chair minus ten percent minus the original chair. Wow. Ashley math is baffling. This all was after no one would help me for the longest time. I will keep you posted. read more

Attention to all potential customers to Ashely Home store: PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!! My parents bought a secrional, three bed room sets, and three mattresses. The initial delivery went okay but they did not have 1 mattress so they said they would deliver the missing mattress on Saturday (12/26). We stressed that we have visitors in town and need the mattress. Come Saturday, no one emailed or contacted us for a delivery. We called the store and customer care and they said the billing was in error and that the error was that 3 mattresses were delivered. They instructed us that billing has to adjust this for them to issue a new delivery date. It is now 12/26 and we haven't heard anything from anyone and still waiting on the bed. I called the store manager Jessica, who said that she has sent an email but no response from the billing or customer care center and that there is nothing she can do. We have been patiently waiting and Ashley has done nothing. The customer service is the worst I have ever seen. I urge anyone else thinking about buying from this place to look somewhere else. I will update if Ashley has done anything. Still waiting for a response. read more

Buying from Ashley in Sugarland was the worst experience I've ever had. They are straight up liars . They reel you in till you have made the purchase. Then they disappear. They lie all the time about availability and delivery dates. I would never recommend this store to anyone. My worst furniture buying experience ever. I hope they shut down. read more

I have never been treated so poorly in my life. I came in Black Friday and purchased a dresser. I set the delivery date out 3 weeks. Not three days before delivery I get a phone call stating that my item will not be delivered on time. I rescheduled the delivery for another two weeks out but later decided to cancel my order because it was time sensitive and I needed something immediately. I call the store and get told that I need to come in to cancel my order. No problem. I come in and talk to the person who sold me the item, he was apologetic and took a copy of my order and wrote down information stating it was to be cancelled. I asked if this was all and he said yes. It's been nearly THREE weeks and my order still has not been cancelled. I've been trying to call the store nonstop but NOBODY EVER picks up the phone. I'm about to lose my mind I don't understand what on Earth is happening. I just want this order cancelled and shouldn't have to go to the store to cancel it again. If I can't get this resolved by this weekend I'm going to have to go back into the store and sit there and watch them like a babysitter until they cancel the order. I can safely say I will never purchase from the store again. At least my online purchases from the website came in quickly and I had no issues. read more
