Yeah, these people are liars and cheats. The first piece I got a few years back, and it fell apart with in a year. I was stupid and went back to get another piece. Was promised delivery within 2 weeks, but it never came. 3 weeks, nope. 4 week, try again. 7 weeks later it showed up... damaged. I will never go back! read more

Not a good experience. Would not have bought from this store had I known I wouldn't get my furniture until 2 months later. I was told it would be 2 weeks at the most. Managers don't return calls and messages don't get received (per managers response to not returning my call). Unorganized seems to be the theme at this store. Still waiting on my couch as I write this review! Getting upset now that I'm talking about it Excuse me as I go make a phone call..... read more

I wish there were no stars to give. An order was placed on July 25th; delivery did not happen until September 24th. That included an end table with a broken glass top. Prior to the latter, a delivery was supposedly set for September 10th with a window of 1-4. At 6pm, we were informed no delivery would be made since the sofa was damaged. During this period of time, I always had to initiate the calls for an explanation. The manager of the Sterling store and the supervisor at the warehouse NEVER returned a call. I went to the latter store and spoke with the manager who didn't want to accept responsibility for the madness. He even had the audacity to walk away from me before the conversation ended. In all the years I have been dealing with retailers, I have never encountered such apathy, lies and unconcerns. How can a store stay in business with such horrendous customer service? I will never patronize this store again and will encourage others to stay away from Ashley in Sterling. I spoke with customer care yesterday wanting, again, to speak to a supervisor. Of course, he was not available. Leaving messages does no good. This order is still not complete; am appalled as to the lack of concern to make things right As a follow up to the previous information, management is worse than the associates whom they supervise. Customer care in Fredericksburg is horrendous. I have received emails indicating I would receive a phone call. No one on any level has contacted me!! I still can't believe the latter. It's obvious they don't care about their customers. Avoid the Sterling store and the customer service associated with it!! From- Joyce P read more

Is it normal to call a customer to set up delivery at 845 PM?! Where I come from that's rude. Furthermore, when I called back literally 3 minutes later, no one answered. I have bought from them before and it seems as though the delivery people are hard to contact if you miss their call 15 minutes to their closing time. read more

All we really wanted was our furniture. We were misled when placing an order at this store concerning the color of the hardware on the furniture. When it arrived the furniture was damaged and the hardware was incorrect. After many phone calls with the managers, we were told we could get store credit or a gift certificate and the brand new furniture would be repaired. When speaking with the customer service rep who handled delivery/repairs, we were told that the hardware could be changed, but the managers would have to approve it. We could not get anyone to return our emails/phone calls. It was six weeks later and we still did not have our furniture. The end result was we DID receive our money back because we emailed the OWNER of Ashley Furniture and told him of our experience with his management/sales team. Then we proceeded to GO into the store. The manager gave us an immediate refund. It's too bad, because all we really wanted was the furniture. The management team at this store desperately needs some classes in CUSTOMER SERVICE 101. Please at least learn how to return phone calls. read more

My wife and I bought a reclining loveseat with console as well as a tempur-pedic mattress and bed frame from Ashley in Sterling/Dulles. Our initial experience was great. Our saleswoman Lorena was excellent. She was patient and thoughtful and worked with us to get us what we wanted at a great price with some great incentives. The loveseat was delivered within a few days and we are more than satisfied. We had to wait a few weeks for the bed and mattress to arrive. This is where the problems began. We received a call on Monday or Tuesday to set up a delivery on Friday. On Thursday of that week, we got a confirmation call as well as another call from someone at the warehouse which confused us because the 2nd caller was under the impression that the order was not ready to be delivered yet. That should have been a red flag. Come Friday, I have to miss my pregnant wife's doctors' appt because the delivery guys call and say they're coming 2 hrs early. Upon arrival, I learn that they brought the correct frame, rails and two twin box springs, but a queen mattress. I refuse the delivery and get on the phone immediately. The customer service manager, Rod, works it out and assures me that the issue will be rectified on Saturday. Saturday morning we receive notice that the delivery will be between 10 am and 1 pm. The truck shows up closer to 2 pm with the king mattress, but no frame and box spring. I refuse that and get on the phone again. The warehouse supervisor, Dee Dee (?) turns the truck around and sends the mattress back and sends a truck with the frame and box springs from Spotsylvania. The guys who put the bed together were great. I would not wish this ordeal on my worst enemy as it was a pain to disassemble our bed and sleep on the floor for 3 days in anticipation of our new bed. That said, Rod and Dee Dee worked to get the issue resolved. There needs to be some better communication between the store and the warehouse and the warehouse staff needs to pay more attention to what leaves the warehouse (king size frame+queen size mattress=red flag!). I can't give Ashley 5 stars due to the issues we experienced, but I give them a firm 3 due to the fact that Rod and Dee Dee worked it out. PS - the bed is FANTASTIC! read more

Based upon other reviews on this store I was hesitant about even stepping foot into Ashley's, but I was looking for a very specific piece of furniture and was determined to see all the options available to me at my local furniture stores. Ashley's certainly has a different energy than the average furniture store and could certainly use some sprucing up and editing of the pieces on its showroom floor. I did end up making my purchase at Ashley's in part because of my sales associate, Skip Chmielewski. Skip is extremely personable and professional, he took the time to listen to me, not just make a quick sale and get me out the door. He listened to what I was looking for and what look I was trying to achieve for my space and showed me the perfect piece and then sold it to me for a price that I was more than comfortable with. It was delivered earlier than promised and overall I am more than happy with my Ashley experience. My advice to those who are as skeptical as I was is to stop in and check out the store, ask for Skip and then carefully browse their selection. You might luck out like I did! read more

My mom and I stopped in to look for furniture in my new home a year ago and met with the manager, Kevus. Pretty awesome guy. He made sure I had a positive experience and got great deals on ALL the items I was looking for. A month ago, my mom went back and purchased another sofa to my surprise and I just received it. Again, Kevus made it happen despite the bad sales rep and Sherita helped with the delivert. iThank you Kevus and Sherita for helping my home become the look I've always dreamed of. If you stop in, ask for Kevus. read more

Horrible for so many reasons.... Bed was not delivered on time or with box springs. Customer service reps can't read or understand store policies. Salespeople are slow and don't seem to care at all -- half the staff was lounging on couches as my husband stood there with our baby waiting for assistance. Would give zero stars if I could. read more

Would give 0 stars if possible. Made a purchase at 9pm and tried to cancel next day at 10am. Was told all sales are finals and that it would be subject to 30% restocking fee of approved. This is predatory and absurd. I also heard the staff yelling at a customer on the phone regarding damaged product. I should have walked out then. Take your business elsewhere, this place is awful. read more

If I could give this business no stars, I would. I purchased a sectional from Ashley Home Store in Dulles, VA in early June, and have yet to receive my furniture. The original date of delivery was July 6th, and it was pushed back twice to ultimately be delivered in late August. Due to all the rescheduling, I was told twice I would be reimbursed the delivery fee, yet that has not been delivered in my bank account. Finally, my couch was supposed to be delivered (still no reimbursement) and the day of delivery there was a "glitch" in their system and my sectional was "forgotten" to be placed on the delivery truck. This infuriating mistake caused me to be passed on over 10 times on the phone, with no employee able to give me a decisive reason for my couch failing to be delivered, and no one able to help find a new time/ date for it to be delivered. This company is unprofessional, and quite frankly, I believe them to be fraudulent. I paid for my couch in early June, and have yet to see an actual couch for my payment. I cannot stress this enough: Do NOT purchase ANY type of furniture from this company. It will be a waste of your time, energy, and money. read more

I would like to begin by stating that I never done this before but because of the horrible customer service and being lied to I think its.important everyone know the truth... I agree with the others about the time they guarantee setting one date and it.being delivered over a week late. Not only was it late but when the delivery arrived the pieces to sectional were incomplete and contacted the store. The manager that I spoke with was rude.and not understanding and told me she could mail the pieces.but.it would take two weeks after I had already waited a extra week and paid a delivery and set up charge. DO NOT PURCHASE FURNITURE FROM HERE I PROMISE YOU WILL GET RIPPED OFF ...The sales rep Ash was horrible read more

I purchased a sofa and it started falling apart within a week a wen into the store to set up an exchange with a different sofa they made me call the customer care number there policy is 30% restock fee and it gets funnier so it's up to upper management to accept your return in the end they did accept my return but it took over a week to get the outcome and I still had to eat another 169,99 to deliver a different sofa. I was trying to be nice and said instead of charging me a delivery fee again I'll buy two end tables which was 432.00 and they said no. In the end I told the manager Ashley is going to lose me as a customer over the 169.00. On a side note the manager told me he never recharges on replacement deliveries but because corporate put it on my paper work he changes his wording and said he doesn't charge on refused delivery well if there is a problem with your product why would I have to repay. Buyer beware I really wish I read these review before buying but my other two products were fine. The only way I will ever buy anything from Ashley if they offer me full refund for making me feel like a jerk. 175 review two stars proof is in the pudding. Most of the sales people are very nice that is the only reason they got a 2 star instead of a 1 because you can't leave a 0 star. read more

Two stars because our salesman was polite. But overall the experience has been far from pleasant. Agree with other posters to check online prices. The same "special" in store was available cheaper from online stores, some with free delivery. A lot of misleading information regarding delivery of product, details which, had we known up front, would have convinced us to go to Belfort instead. Havent received furniture but dont feel confident the delivery experience will be better than the sales experience. Overall apathetic attitude of management about these concerns. Will not return. read more

My Ashely Furniture Nightmare: I spend $3k at the store on a bedroom set and a dining room table. The table was delivered with a crack in the pedestal and a draw on a dresser was stuck closed. The table is sitting on the floor in my dining room on its side and all I do is get a run-a-round from the store managers and sales people. I will never spend another dime a Ashley Furniture again. A total ripoff. read more

Just had a great experience at Ashley Furniture in Sterling. Both the salesman Brian and the manager Christian were very accommodating, professional and pleasant. They showed us different options and prices in the range where we told them we needed to be. Gave us space to talk privately several times. But this all went crazy when I saw a couch and love seat combo that was definitely out of our budget range. They worked magic and got the price down after several attempts to what we could afford. They are having a sale now and they went above and beyond that to make us happy. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. The service here is awful. Specially from Reggie Harvey, she is the one who seats in the front desk. I went in to ask about the delay of my furniture and she did not even let me finish my sentences. I started asking a question and she would cut me off and did not even try to make eye contact. I had to walk away otherwise I would've flipped out. She obviously doesn't know how sales works. She doesn't know how to treat customers at all. As soon as I got home I told my brother about the service that I got and he said he had the same experience with her when he made a purchase not so long ago. This is the first time I ever write a review because this needed to be addressed. Also, they told me that my furniture was going to get delivered in less than two weeks and now it has been a month and I had to keep calling to ask when it was going to get delivered. They should not make promises they can't keep, they should at least give a call to let the customer know that it is going to be delayed. My entire experience with Ashley Furniture was just awful. read more

The furniture was very pretty, and I just wanted to look around to see what the furniture looked like, but customer service kept bothering me. I said very politely that if I had questions, I could ask the man. He went into explaining something about company policy that didn't make sense. I can't imagine a company policy that involves not letting customers who have been in the store more than 10 minutes browse and see what they are interested in. Since the man wouldn't stop bothering me I told him I was done looking and left. I don't think I will be back, and might not order furniture from this company. read more

Bought a new living room set from here, and aside from the area rug being discontinued (ended up with the store display rug at a discounted price) and the lamp being slightly warped (swapped that out for the store display lamp at no additional cost), I'm not sure things could have gone better. As for quality, for the price it's fine. This is a discount furniture store. If you think you'll get better quality at some of the higher priced furniture stores, go spend twice as much and find out the next time you need a couch. Granted, my stuff is new, and won't get a boatload of traffic, so I'll give it some time and report back if it fails prematurely. As for the delivery, they estimated the furniture would arrive on the 27th; it arrived on the 28th. And, I did get a phone call a night or two before to let me know the delivery window would be between 11am and 2pm; they arrived at 1:30pm. For me, the next time I happen to need some furniture I'd be more than happy to look up Darnell again (he was great), work with the ladies at the front desk (they were great), and mix it up with some of the other staff (they were great) while I wait for the paperwork to be completed. I read a review below that hinted at the notion that only dissatisfied people were writing reviews. I'd like to add that maybe some folks out here will never ever be satisfied with anything. Sure, I had some minor hassles with the rug and lamp, but perfection in any retail transaction is a hard bar to reach nowadays. Maybe some folks just need to get over themselves. read more

PROCEED WITH CAUTION...i visited the Ashley Furniture Sterling store on Memorial Day Monday to purchase a new living room set. I wholeheartedly REGRET this decision FULLY. I was greeted by the sales manager Briana upon arrival. She assisted us with purchasing 8 items. A sofa, love seat, coffee table, two end tables, two lamps and a tv stand (total of 8 items purchased). The order upon complete was never reviewed with us, she never once sat with us to review it, show us pricing, she literally sent us to checkout. Upon checkout i was surprised at some of the pricing, so the check out rep called her back. This happened twice during our checkout process. Finally we thought it was all correct, signed and went home. I then went online to check my items, 5 of the 8 items ordered were WRONG, just the complete wrong items. Not what we selected with her in the store, not to mention the pricing i was charged VS what was online was COMPLETELY elevated. So i called, and called back. I was then text messaged by the sales rep that my order has been fixed and that she would do any price adjustments so i didnt have to pay more? WHAT?? SO we went back to the store a few days later to get the entire order fixed, get the 8 correct items ordered and the pricing fixed. I was told a delivery date for the week of 6/21/18, it even states this on my paperwork. I call the store on 6/19 to inquire why i havent been contacted, i was told that my items were not due in until 6/25/18 i questioned why no one called me to notify me. The store rep says and i quote "Its always been 6/25" - REALLY? Well not according to my paperwork and why didnt anyone from the store tell me this? Long story short i have now had to basically work for Ashley Furniture, get my order fixed, get my pricing fixed now deal with a wrong delivery date promised. Its been a month since i ordered, still no furniture. Mind you i am paying $139 for this delivery. I was told all my items except my TV Stand are at the warehouse. I believe due to the lack of service i have received i should get the items as promised on the date promised and the store should pay for a second delivery. I phoned the store, asked for manager, customer care calls me back (remote location) and tells me i can pay another $89 for a second delivery - WHY should i have to pay more because you cant do your job? If i could cancel the whole order, pay more somewhere else (WHERE THEY KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING) I absolutely would but i cant cancel the order either. DO NOT i repeat DO NOT SHOP HERE, go somewhere else where you wont have to pretend to work for Ashley furniture but have to pay them for your service. I was promised a call by Keevis Davis store manager 6/21 - its now 6/22 no call, he doesn't care about his customers or the service his people are providing. Its clear from my review along with all the others this store has got a lot of work to do before they should be in customer service. I will escalate this since i have devoted so much time to it. read more

Being a long time customer this Ashley store in Sterling,VA is the most dishonest business experience I have ever experienced. I understand most furniture store has some good or bad side when it comes to selling furniture to their customer, but this store is just too dishonest. During my order I was told (by salesperson Samiya) that my product will be available and delivered within 2 weeks, but its been more than a month now, I had to call the store and being told that my product will take more than 2 months. I called countless time to talk to the manager but the customer service lady was so rude who deserve LIER OF THE MONTH award, started to defend the store saying the order was never delayed and its was originally meant to be delivered in 2 month. She always saying "Manager is not available" LIE. I got fed up and I visited the store right after I hung up the call and saw the store is not even busy (it was during non busy hour on weekday) and found a manager (Mike I think) who took a look into my order and couldn't explain why there is a delay in my order. He promised he will email another manager to see if they can pull someone's else order and give me the item sooner. I was told I will be expecting a call from another employee name (Debbie) by 1 PM next day. I am still waiting for that call for 2 weeks now. There were plenty of furniture store in the area where I could have order and get my furniture already, but only reason I put in my order with Ashley because the salesperson informed us that product will be available within 2 weeks. Just stay away from this store. I am going to report this business to BBB. PS: Store if you are seeing this and thinking of replying this review, please don't ask me to call the store. Instead look up my order (last 4 digit phone #5872, order placed on 27th May) and contact if you have a honest solution. read more

I can't emphasize enough how bad Ashley HomeStore furniture is as a corporation. I have been a victim of fraud by this company. I paid for brand new couches and they sent me damaged couches. After multiple AWEFUL phone calls with their terribly rude "corporate" customer service, they agreed to send me replacement couches. Customer service is non-existent. These folks have high school diplomas and zero training in customer relations. They are rude, unprofessional, and lack standard operating procedures which mean you get NO WHERE despite how much time or resources you spend. The replacement couches arrived damaged as well. The worse part is that they tried to cover up the damage and paint over the wood trim that they dented and scratched up. In all we have made over sixty phone calls to the store, to their corporate office and to the manufacturer. It's been two months and the case has still not been resolved. I would never trust this company with my hard earned money again and I highly suggest no one else does, either. read more

Awful service. Came to this Ashley with family for the second time to look at some furniture we were interested in. Abraham greeted us at the door and we told him we could just look around ourselves. However, he kept following us and asked several times about our interest in some items we looked at. We thanked him for his "help" but he would not stop following closely behind and aggressively pitching some items. It was almost predatory. He followed us to the very end where I saw a table I thought had good style and so went over to check it out. I shook the table to see how solid it was, and the table wobbled substantially. Abraham, who had followed me, quickly leaned against it to stop it from shaking. "People shake it everyday. That is why it is loose." Was it a lie? Maybe. A dinner table should be able to withstand heavy use for years. Whatever. Not wanting to be rude, I replied that the color didn't fit our house and let him know we would come back again soon to see if they change selections. This somehow triggered Abraham, who told my family in a rude tone "we don't have your style. No need to come back. We don't want to waste your time and we don't want you to waste ours." I thanked him for his time and said goodbye before leaving very surprised at his remark. Not professional at all and will never come back. read more

It is my first experience with Ashley and not a great one. Initially my furniture delivery is delayed by one month with no calls from Ashley. I have to reach out to them multiple times before they figured it out. Although they charge leg and arm for delivering furniture they do not offer full furniture setup and be able to move other furniture. The delivery service team is very rude and are not customer focused at all. We like the furniture we got, 2 sectional couches, bed and table. We had a problem with one of the couches which I am filing a claim (protection claim), a piece of wood was found under the couch and also the seating cushion doesn't seem properly attached. I am giving a 3 stars because I was told by the seller that the Black Friday is the best deal of the year, which is NOT. The prices went down a lot since then. So DON'T PURCHASE YOUR FURNITURE ON THE BLACK FRIDAY!!! It is not the best deal. We spent over $5,000, and we are not happy knowing we could have saved a lot of money if we had waited. I will post a follow up on the claim situation. read more

We had an excellent experience in buying a new living room set. After visiting Wolf's (which is a great store), and LazyBoy, Ashley HomeStore had the perfect leather power recliner sectional. We were looking for a full, oversized, deep rich brown leather with character and visible stitching. The Damacio 6-Piece Sectional with Power was perfect. They helped design the space in entirety, and allowed us to view the sectional in multiple configurations in the store. It was a pressure-free experience. Sales Associate Diva Rodriguez made all the difference. We have actually been customers of hers for a few years so we knew to ask for her by name. They provided an estimated delivery of only 4 weeks or so which is great. It will be nice to have our new living room before the holidays. If the delivery coordination and actual delivery goes just as well, I'll add a 5th star. read more

All sales are final! Be careful when you shop especially when you are making big purchases. I bought a sofa and changed my mind less that 24 hours later. It was a challenge to get a refund. I wish zero stars was an option. DO NOT BUY FURNITURE HERE. They follow you around in the store rather than letting you browse or come to them when you're ready. Then, the salesman I worked with talked my ear off about nonsense for about 2 hours while I was in the store, didn't really pay attention to what I was looking for, and then forgot to tell us about some extra fees that come about just before purchasing the furniture. Where I live only allows delivery between 8-12 and 2-6, which we put on the invoice and were told would not be a problem. I got a missed call with no voicemail, and since I was waiting for them to call, I called the number back just in case. It was in fact Ashley Furniture's distributer calling to tell me my delivery date (which they didn't leave in a message, so if I hadn't called who knows if I would have found out the time), and it was scheduled from 12-3. Which is right in the window that we said didn't work. It took about 8 hours on the phone with the store and the distributor to work that situation out, with the people in the store being INCREDIBLY rude to me on the phone. Finally the time was scheduled from 2:00-6:00, which was in the window allowed by my building. Then, on delivery day, we get a call around 11am that they were coming for the delivery. Frustrated that they once again screwed the time up, I hopped in the car and drove to my new apartment, and waited there for over an hour for them to show up. So, they arrived in the 12-2 window where deliveries weren't allowed. I pleaded with my apartment building to allow the delivery, which they so graciously did. Although the delivery was quick, they left black footprints and handprints all over my carpet and walls. My mom was with me that day, and had her purse in the bathroom with the door shut. While we were both in the bedroom helping the one delivery guy with my mattress, the other one was "putting the kitchen table together". However, when we came back out to the other room, the bathroom door was open, the rug was all crumpled up, and there were black handprints on the walls leading in there. My mom's purse was wise open, as was her wallet, and she believes that a $100 was missing. Before we realized that, I looked over the table, signed the papers that said they delivered the furniture, and they left. With the service at the store, the delivery time issue, and the fact that they stole money from my mother, I will NEVER buy furniture from Ashley furniture again. Ever. And I advise you not to either. read more

The only thing decent about the store would be the sales person named Josh. The GM Kevin/ Kevis however you spell it is sooooo rude. I will NEVER shop at Ashley again in my life! I'm in management and would never talk to someone the way he does. He's uneducated and untrained for his position. He promised us a delivery date of 6/06 and we get 1/2 the stuff of 6/16 and 6/19 they were still missing items and not sure when we will be receiving them. I have never dealt with such horrible customer service from a so called "manager". Ashley obviously doesn't care about the way their customers are treated because #1 how we are treated in the store and #2 look at all the reviews on here and all the negative comments and how the manager speaks to others. And it continues which means nothing has been done about it! We have learned out lesson and now know we are just a number to Ashley and not a valued customer. Also, they stated they were refunding my delivery fee of 300 because of the issues this has caused and that was on 6/12 and guess what?? No refund until I called back a week later. (They forgot and didn't give me the exact information on what to do) A manager from another store called and processed the refund after having to go back and fourth with customer service when it was noted on my order that it was being done and that I'd get a follow up to verify I got the refund (guess what? Didn't get that call either). When they called and processed the refund we set up delivery for the following Saturday. Stayed home all day and they NEVER showed up!!! I called customer service and they said it was for the 30th between 5-8. The manager from the other store apologized and owned up to her mistake which I can appreciate. I told her I was leaving to go out of town that Saturday. After many calls she was able to make sure I got my stuff at 7am that Saturday. I shouldn't of had to wait over a month in a half to get furniture I paid over 10k for in the first place or take time out of my day to deal with them like I had too on many occasions. Now, that I've had my furniture for not even a month the paint it coming off the table and tv stand!!! I can't catch a break with Ashley. I don't know what's changed with them but I used to get my furniture from them and I never had the issues I've come across this time. It's a real shame! Never again will I shop at Ashley!! I spent too much money there and was treated like a piece of crap and just a number. Real nice until I swiped the card and then that Kelvis GM or whatever turned into the devil! He got paid from the order and that's all he cared about. Kelvis RM even called one of the times and was so rude asking why I was demanding my furniture? Really? I paid for it over a month ago I want my furniture!! Stupidest question. The manager from the other store had to apologize profusely for him saying that and stated she couldn't believe he asked me that, and she said somethings come out that he isn't meaning to say! Maybe that's true but that question was very blunt, rude, and had no right to ask something like that! He would have done the same thing if he was in my shoes I guarantee. For a GM (Kelvis) to tell my fiancé he wouldn't talk to me (which I paid for the stuff) because women overreact and that I was acting like a b**ch. Yes, I was upset that's a lot of money but no I didn't cuss him out, yell, or anything but make him work to figure out where my furniture was located and he didn't like that he had to do research and get out of his "meetings" (I was always under the impression customers come first). I won't be called out of my name by someone I'm close with much less a piece of scum that's employed at a furniture store where purchases like mine pay his checks. I called and complained on his attitude and the names he called me to the customer service and the other manager I spoke too, they all stated that they told the "owner" but again nothing!!! I was told I will get a call from the "owner" or his assistant and still nothing! I waited to write the review to see how the management team would handle him or this situation but there was nothing done! I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt and let them handle it first. Best advice stay away!! Especially from the Dulles/ Sterling store if your a women he will down talk you and treat you exactly like I was! Read the previous reviews it's not just me!! Still waiting for my call..... but at this point I don't care they lost a loyal customer and I will make sure I post this review everywhere! Sounds too crazy to be true! I wish it was all a dream! Buy from Ashley and especially that store you will see exactly what I mean!!! I will also be sending a letter to BBB due to the nature of my visit and the names I was called. read more

I visited the store on the 17th of July to purchase a Bedroom Furniture for my daughter. The Salesman by the name of Soheil insisted that I don't visit any other store and he will give me the best price possible. I was followed like a Hawk every where. I explained to him that I was about to move and had no furniture and it was very important for me to know if the furniture was going to be delivered on time. He assured me since it was already in the warehouse it will only take a week, the most 10 days. Today is Aug. 8th and I have yet to see the furniture. I have called repeatedly the store to speak to the manager. They refuse to transfer you to the manager or hang up the phone and finally after 9 attempts I was able to speak to Jeremy who was as useless as the sale-rep. He didn't make any accommodations. Didn't any wave the delivery charge. Didn't apologize for the misinformation. When I explained the Rep assured me within 10 days, he said you should have read the papers which I was amazed. I'm in the customer Service Business and this is not how we treat customers. When I asked for the Corporate number the Manager gave me a wrong number to call. Unreal to let somone manager a store! This was the worst customer service possible. I wouldn't know why anyone would go to their store. Macy's and other stores provide the same quality and better communications. I wasn't satisfied and wouldn't recommend Ashley Furniture Store to anyone. Behdis M read more

I have never been more disappointed by a purchase so here goes my first ever Yelp review. We recently purchased a bedroom set for our youngest daughter on Labor Day weekend because she fell in love with the princess-style Exquisite set. The representative gave us a good price on the Exquisite full size sleigh bed WITH storage drawers as well as the matching French style dresser. They had the floor model in the store so we clearly pointed out the pieces that we had wanted and double checked the order at the checkout. The store was getting ready to close so we weren't able to agree on a specific delivery time and the representative said he would call us about it. He never called. Other than the fact that the furniture was delivered more than a month later, they gave us the wrong pieces. The representative had ordered a bed WITHOUT the storage drawers and the wrong style of dresser. We called the manager, who was extremely rude, and he said the set storage bed would have been an extra $100 and denied having ordered the wrong items. We had wasted hundreds of dollars for them to lug back their sad excuse for furniture, wasted time and energy, and put up with their lying and attitude. Do NOT buy furniture from these crooks. read more

Update: We were supposed to receive a call on Thursday 10/10 regarding our Delivery it is now one week later 10/16 and we still have not heard anything about when we will receive the correct table and our stools. I wish I could give this place a negative, we will not be shopping here again and will make sure no one we know does either. read more

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE... Purchased chairs march 5, paid 25 dollars for the chairs to be delivered to the store closer to me so I could pick them up on the 14. It has been over a month and the chairs are no where to be found. We have called several times and we get a different excuse every time. Excuse 1) delivery dates are estimate because chairs are made to order. (Even though on the resit it clearly says to be pick up on 3/14. It does not say estimate date) 2) we give our order a 2 to 4 week delivery time. 3) chairs are on back order. 4) we are sorry we can't find your chairs, we don't know where they are. We asked for our money back and they said they will keep 30%. And now they won't even refund the money. Horrible costumer service. Horrible return policy. This company just sucks. read more

We bought furniture once before about a year ago from Ashley and we had no problems during that purchase and delivery. So when I noticed the mediocre reviews for Ashley furniture while shopping online a few weeks ago, we decided to ignore the reviews and try it again. The salesman was very nice and knowledgeable. The store honored the price of the furniture that we found online at an Ashley website, which was nice since that price was lower than the price on the tag. The piece we chose was on clearance and was exactly what we were looking for. It had no damage when we selected it. The check out process was easy and pleasant. The delivery came within a week and on time at the arranged time frame. When the piece arrived, we noticed that it had visible damage that was not there when we selected it regarding a piece of trim wood being split open. We talked to customer care. They sent a technician out a week later. He repaired and color-matched the damage so well that you can't tell that it was ever damaged! Really impressed with his skills in this area! Overall, we're very happy with the product, checkout, deliver and repair. Sure, it would be better if it hadn't arrived damaged, but overall, it's still a very nice piece of furniture, very functional, and beautiful. We'll go to Ashley again if we need furniture. read more

I wish zero stars was an option. Dealing with Ashley Furniture has been the most horrendous experience I have ever had with a company. We bought our sofa and love seat in July and are STILL trying to get a damage free piece. I've gone so far as to file a claim with my bank to get a refund, but was denied due to the "no refund" policy Ashley makes buyers sign. Talk about the first red flag of a company that is unwilling to stand behind their product. They don't want to be stuck with their POS merchandise anymore than their customers do. It all started with the first delivery. Ashley's delivery team brought the sofa in and found that the wrong legs had been packaged with sofa. This was apparent because they did not match the legs that had been packaged with the corresponding live seat AND the legs would have needed to be screwed into holes that the couch did not have. When I said to them, "those are the wrong legs," they ignored me and proceeded to rip into the bottom of the couch looking for holes that did not exist. Ashley's response was to offer to come repair the couch. I did not purchase a refurbished couch. I purchased a new couch. After more than a month of back and forth with customer "service", Ashley agreed to replace the sofa, but by then I had filed a claim with my bank because I was fed up with arguing with Ashley. Like I previously mentioned, Ashley's no refund blood pact prevented that from working. So we got our second delivery two weekends ago. This time the frame of the sofa was bulging out on one side. So we rejected delivery, and Ashley said they would deliver a new couch the following weekend. Mid-week I thought it would be prudent to call Ashley to make sure that we were in fact getting a new couch-- not one that had been rejected by anyone else. Director of Customer Service, Melvina, assured me that we would be receiving a new sofa. So for the third time, we killed a day waiting around for the delivery guys. And what do you know! We got the same couch that we rejected delivery on just the weekend before! I wonder what's in store for us next delivery!! TLDR; Ashley is a bunch of POS-selling liars. You'd be better off gambling on bed bugs on a sofa on the side of the road. read more

Honestly, the worst experience that I have ever had and it never ends... I bought 6 pieces of furniture from Ashley... Delivery dates pushed multiple times, taking up to 6+ weeks for certain items that were discussed at 2 weeks. After finally receiving the last piece of furniture, I was surprised (not sure why) to find that the couch is broken. The icing on the cake of this whole experience is the customer service. People promise to call you back... never do... and it is never anyones fault. Each representative blames another... I will never spend another $ here. read more

Yelp is odd, It has removed majority of the recent good reviews. Well one of the good reviews was talking about a salesman names Rahul, So I decided to ask for him. I was not disappointed at all! Rahul was great, he listened to my ideas and also gave great input. I just bought a new house that needed to be furnish so was on a budget he helped me to stay within my budget and get a great deal! The selection was diverse so you have a lot to chose from (contemporary, modern..etc). Rahul also followed up with me to keep me updated about my delivery date and time and to ensure I was completely satisfied with my purchase. I highly recommend him! read more
