I began by purchasing a sofa, lift chair, oversize chair and ottoman. How I wish I would have read previous reviews. The price in the store was much different from the on line prices. I went ahead with the purchase and when delivery brought the sofa through the door, got grease on it. I was encouraged to attempt to wash the grease off. I told them it was grease and they needed to make this right. They filled out a green sheet and stated that a tech would get with me first thing in the morning. It was the next afternoon and they stated that they would order the fabric to repair the couch. In the meantime, I had returned to the store and ordered a coffee table and two end tables. When I mentioned that the price on line was less, the manager took some off the cost. Why didn't I do this the first time? It has been close to a month and today I called to find out when the coffee table, and end tables would arrive. It will be at least another month. These items have already been paid for in July, and I need to wait until September. This seems very unfair. I also need to wait until September to have the sofa repaired. I have a terminally ill husband, and wanted the house to look nice when people come to visit him. This has not worked out well at all....... read more

Although the furniture at this store is very poor quality you will fortunately still get to pay way too much for it. In the uncertain times we find ourselves, it is difficult to deliver on promises when things are out of your control. This is an unfortunate fact of this pandemic and I wanted to give the general public the heads up that if you order furniture from this store, do so knowing that you will be waiting a minimum of 6 months to receive it. You may never receive it at all, but rest assured you will pay upfront for it! Very impressed with intelligent store structure and knowledgeable salespeople. I have done weeks of internet research on a new mattress, but wanted to feel for myself and talk to the salespeople. After dropping by 2 competitors next door, I stopped in Ashley and met salesperson Wayne. Ashley was set up different, having rows and rows with the same manufacture of mattress in 4 firmness levels. Like Goldilocks, I could try each one on and feel differences. I discovered that I don't prefer the new foam mattress, and was only comfortable on firm - the others levels of softness felt just like my current bed. I was a hot buyer ready to make deals; however, Wayne, after listening to me about how the less-than-firm mattresses felt the same, asked an oddball question - when did I last replace my pillows? He took me to a softer bed I wasn't comfortable on, brought 2 different pillows, and one took care of the bad fit. Maybe I need a new mattress, but Wayne deserved the sale of an expensive pillow that worked; I'll try it out for a while and maybe, I don't need a new mattress. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! BUYER BEWARE After reading the reviews on here I wish I would've checked online! The store commercials advertise fast delivery and "in stock" this and that when in actuality more like MONTHS! That's right MONTHS! I ordered a sofa, love seat, and TV console from the Ashley store in Woodbridge on March 24th! I was told it would be delivered April 8th or 9th.. When I had not heard from them in regards to delivery I called on the 8th only to find out that it had been pushed to the 26th.. I was angry no one had bothered to call or contact me but I let it pass because I really love this set... Wednesday the 23rd comes and no call from Ashley.. of course after calling the store a bunch or times periodically through out the day I finally got an answer. The customer care representative informed me that my furniture would not be delivered until the 13th of MAY! Guys I have a two year old and a blow up mattress substituting for furniture in my living. Enraged I decide to go to to the store. I met with the General Sales Manager Ahmad Hady who could only say sorry. First of all! How about having your employees set the correct expectations of delivery time frames when they purchase, second communicate with your customers! If a time frame has changed or anything is different than the expectation you set when the customer purchsed CALLLL!!! Its not rocket science just good customer service which is apparently something your company knows nothing about! I was offered NO solution by Mr. Hady other than what I already said. 1.) Find a different set. *which im sure would take 2.5 months to deliver or 2.) cancel my agreement * which Im considering processing seeing how i have been offered no other solution. No discount or even an offer to waive the stupid $80 delivery fee. I will NEVER in my life recommend anyone to purchase from Ashley and I myself will never purchase anything from Ashley ever again... We bought a lot of furniture from Ashley 10 years ago (dinning room, living room, master, etc.). We were big fans of their stuff. Unfortunately, the quality has gone down. We bought a sofa 3 years ago and the foam has depleted in the cushions. A spring has popped out. We have the five year warranty which only covers stains nothing else. They might cover the spring, but they to come out and look at it. So, we will never buy furniture from them again,! read more

It's been a complete disaster experience with this store I think starting from the general manager & all the way down D's guys are nothing short of liars cheaters they promised our furniture to be there in two weeks and it's been more then three months they send us the invoice To pay for furniture that we have not received i don't know what kinda owner this store has but he needs to check and reevaluate it's managers and employees. Worst customer service experience I have EVER had in my whole life! Can't believe I have to give even one star just to post this review. A ZERO is actually what they deserve. We had purchased a 6-8 seat dining set with 6 chairs. to start the nightmare, they delivered the set with 5 chairs saying that it was set up that way in my order. They told me I could pick up the other chair at the store. When I got there, it was still in the box disassembled!! I guess they thought I should put it together. Needless to say, I couldn't fit the box in my car and only had room if it was assembled. I came back later and it was still not together and the manager said he would assemble it while we wait. It took a long time just to resolve that issue. Then, all of the chairs would 'wobble' and a tech needed to be scheduled to make adjustments. It took WEEKS to even get a tech to come, then on the first day he was scheduled, they were supposed to call 30 min prior to arriving to ensure someone would be there. Well, they NEVER called prior and when I got the call he was already out front and we were down the street shopping waiting for the call to come. When I asked if he could wait the 30 minutes or less until we could get there, he said he couldn't and would have to reschedule again!! I was soo pissed. Then we couldn't get another tech for another 2 WEEKS! This time we were prepared and waiting at home for our appointment. But they NEVER called AGAIN, and before the day was over I called them to find out what happened to my appointment. They told me that they attempted to call me 2 days prior to my appointment (THEY DIDN'T!!) to inform me that a tech was not going to be available in my area on my scheduled day and that we would need to reschedule AGAIN!! At this point I'm ready for this to just end and be over with so I NEVER have to deal with Ashley again! I spent 2 hours in Ashley store with sales rep Andre, he neglected me by leaving me to take care of other customers while assisting me, lied to me about product price and features and about giving me a discount despite knowing I was first time home buyer and on a budget. I had gone in store knowing what I want and wanted to know their delivery policy. I just wanted a bedroom furniture set but he insisted on showing me mattresses since I didn't have one yet and would not let it be. I picked one but it was nearly $1300, he said "tell you what, I will give it you for $999". $999 was the actual price listed on their website and it was on sale for $509. Then he proceeds to tell me how he is including usb charging ports on my nightstand for free, they are usually $99. The usb charging ports are actually included with the product. When I was there, Amy from the store ran my card as return instead of charge for downpayment, and then again to charge me. I went back less than 24 hours to cancel my order after I found out how I've been conned, they would not let me cancel but price adjusted mattress they sold to me to $509. Had to call for new invoice and it did not reflect downpayment. I called store, Heidi rudely told me I owed money. Went back to store to pay it, Amy was there and told me it was applied to my balance. I'm paying by financing. My balance on Synchrony should be $2495.92, it is currently $6678.05, not only way over my actual balance, but over my approved credit amount. They charged my account 11/11/19 $4182.13, which is not even my original balance prior to price adjustment ($2765.32) and then again 11/18/19 $2495.92, which was the actual amount it should be. I caalled Ashley customer care, who told me to call Synchrony, who told me to call Ashley customer care, who told me to call the Ashley homestore I purchased from. I spoke with Heidi again and she told me it needs to go to accounting without letting me explain the situation. Upset, I go to store, and meet Heidi, requesting to speak with manager. Manager, Kevin, is in a meeting. Instead I'm met with Jacob, I explain situation, Heidi interrupts trying to explain why I owe $250 downpayment. So without letting me explain over the phone, she wasn't going to resolve my issue and send the wrong information to accounting. I informed her my Synchrony account has been way overcharged. Kevin takes over, apologizes, says it takes 2 billing cycles to reflect the change once it's been fixed and financing should be in touch with me. Nobody got in touch with me. I called the homestore on 12/3/19, spoke with Jacob, he can't give me an update and tells me after checking with store customer service that I need to call their customer care, they will have all the information. I call customer care, spoke with Blanca. After spelling my last name, Blanca proceeds to confirm the wrong name (Katty) and address with me. Flabbergasted, and blown away the information she is giving me, I ask her to repeat herself and she gives the same information. I inform her this is precisely the issue, I've been overcharged on my account, I don't know who's balance has been charged on mine, they don't have my information right. She proceeds to tell me she was looking at the wrong screen. Exactly! Then she tells me she can't do anything for me and she needs to get in touch with the home store since she can't help. It leads me to assume Jacob from homestore lied because he had no answer for their erroneous transaction, misconduct, negligence and false advertisement. read more

Terrible. I ordered my couch on Dec. 7th and was told by the sales rep that it's expected to be in on the 26th of December. Called a few days after the 26th to get an update and was told the couch would be here by January 5th. Called on the 7th and was told the couch would be here the next week on the 12th. Called on the 12th and then was told the couch would not be there until the 25th of January. Fine, I waited two weeks until the today January 25th only to be told that the couch would not be here until FEBRUARY 11TH. I am cancelling the order and going somewhere else. read more

Please find another furniture store Ashley is really not worth the headache.... I ordered a Caitbrook Twin Loft Bed with Storage at the end of April. I paid extra to have it delivered on a Saturday. On my scheduled delivery date, May 11th, the bed was missing pieces. I was under the impression that someone would come with the missing pieces, so I allowed the delivery drivers to leave the big box with the unassembled products in my hall. In addition, the ladder to the bed came cracked. My new delivery date was scheduled for 6/15/19, I rearranged my work schedule for this. I received a call at 7:30 am on the 15th from customer care that some pieces were missing and I would need to wait for delivery again. When the rep called in late June to reschedule, I inquired about a refund for delivery as I had missed time from work and paid extra for a Saturday delivery only for my product to not be delivered. She stated that I would need to call directly to the store as they do not handle refunds. Fast forward, July 5th, the remainder of my order came and the product is poorly make in addition to the top of the dresser being scratched. The rep stated that a new part would be delivered and I would need to reach back out to have someone come to replace it. In addition, the other part (ladder) has not yet been received. I called the store on 7/8 to speak to the manager and was placed on hold. I was told that the person who I had spoke to in customer care was not correct, and that I needed to contact customer care instead of the store for a refund for deliver. A email was going to be sent by the store to customer care since they are closed on Monday. I was promised a return called the following business day. On 7/11, I was not able to get through to customer care as the line was busy every time I tried to call. I left a message and have not heard anything back. On 7/16/19 I sent an email but never heard back. On, 7/22 I went in to the Ashley store in Sterling and requested to speak to a supervisor. I spoke with Kevis who was going to speak to the regional manager about giving me a refund for the delivery charges. I also requested for them to come and get the bed as I did not want it. Kevis, the store manager, stated that I could exchange the bed for a better quality one. He told me to pick out a bed and send him the info. We spoke in 7/26 and a picture of the bed was sent to him. He also informed me that his manager approved $150 refund for the delivery fee. I followed up on 8/2 via text and never received a response. On 8/6, I reached out and he stated that he was going to check on the request. I sent a follow-up text on 8/16 as I had not heard back. On 8/20 I called the store and Kevis was with a customer and I was asked to leave a message. I still have not heard back. In addition, I emailed contactus@ashleynva.com on two occasions, the last time was on August 21st of this year and still have heard nothing back. I reached out to customer service earlier this month and they supposedly sent my complaint to a higher up but again I have heard nothing..... read more

I will say that their customer service is the worst! The store manager was extremely disrespectful to his employee in front of my husband and I for what looked like no reason. He sounded like he just wanted to flex. That made me extremely uncomfortable. Furthermore, they barely answer the phone, (Don't even think about leaving a voicemail bc no one will call you back) and the people who answer the phones have a horrible attitude! STAY AWAY! They were supposed to send someone out to fix it; it's been over a month and they keep telling me "the parts have to be ordered, they're not in yet" or other BS. A personable guy took the information and said he would call in 30 minutes. In the meantime I drove to the store. What a nightmare! I was told that he would be right with me. After about 30(!) minutes with no sign of him and the lady greeting customers making no effort to let me know what was going on, someone else asked if they could help and also disappeared. I left after 45 minutes. Here is a case where I walked into the story ready to buy and due to the lousy non existent customer service I walked out without spending a dime at Ashley. I'm happy to say today I was able to get the item at another store. Regional management should send people to see how terribly this store is run and observe the lackadaisical attitude of the sales people. read more

If you're planning on getting furniture from here, reconsider. First of all, as soon as you walk in the door, associates start trying to push you into a purchase. Instead of a simple "If you need anything, let me know", they follow you like a shadow all around the store pretending to "accidentally" bump into you. Then, after you finally decide to buy something, they save the fine-print until just before they swipe your credit card. Anything you don't like is explained away as "industry standard". The "return policy" is actually just in-store credit minus shipping & re-stock fees. Having it delivered? You'd better know right away if you love it because the moving guys have to take it back immediately or you have to pay fees for pickup and re-stocking. And they can't deliver until the very last item is in stock. My furniture took 27 DAYS to arrive! 27 DAYS!! I had NO FURNITURE FOR A MONTH because 1 single chair was out of stock. During checkout, I explicitly stated that I live on the 6th floor of an apartment building. The associate assured me this was fine. When the movers arrived, they complained that some items wouldn't fit on the elevator. I showed them to the spacious stairwell, and then they said they don't go beyond the 3rd floor. THE GROUND FLOOR IS THE 3RD FLOOR. They spent 20 minutes on the phone with their superiors to get the move approved. Then, just before they hurry off, they get a customer service rep on the line so you can rate them. I gave them 10's (or whatever the highest score was) because they moved some heavy things upstairs. I didn't notice how they had sliced up the sides of the chair with their box cutter until some time later! EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. read more

Despite reading all of the bad reviews prior to furniture shopping, we still decided on buying some of our furniture at Ashley's in Sterling. We really thought it would be ok as long as we verified that all the pieces were available at the warehouse... WRONG! First of all, our sales rep we worked with Abraham is no longer working for the store (I am now being told by some at the store that he wasn't the best employee). This totally explains all of his bs stories he told us trying to make the sale before he quit. Anyway, when we first purchased the furniture, our number 1 priority was getting the furniture delivered on time. So, just to stress the importance, we had to get multiple assurances from Abraham and the manager. And, each time we were told that we had NOTHING to worry and all the pieces would be delivered on time. Well, I received no call or delivery on the promised date. When I called the customer care to verify, they advised that the desk and bed were not ready to be delivered and it would take about another week. I told the rep that this was UNACCEPTABLE. I called back couple of hours later to check the status, and to my surprise, I was told that the delivery for all of the items has been scheduled for the next day. Great!!!! So, the delivery finally came today as promised, but here is the catch!! Completely wrong parts for our king bed (only the side rails looked to be correct). Only 2 of 4 chairs for dining table was delivered (delivery guy told me they were on back order but customer care rep told me they just didn't load it onto the trunk). We also got a bench with one of the arms falling off. The delivery guy tried to screw it back in but the screw was completely stripped off and the arm would not reattach to the bench. Right now, I have been told I would get a call back once this gets sorted out so we'll see what happens here on on out... The time and effort I have to spend trying to get this fixed is super frustrating to say the least. On the bright side though, everyone I have spoken to has been professional and polite. read more

I've done several transactions with Ashley's over the past several years at other locations with no issues. This store in Sterling is a real "piece of work". I placed this order for a bedroom set in the store on 3/23 and didn't receive a call to schedule delivery until 4/17. I scheduled the delivery for 4/20. Upon delivery it was immediately noted that the storage area on the bed was cracked and the slats were the wrong size. No big deal, mistakes happen. Plus the delivery guys were extra cool and polite. Next, we noted that the bed & mattress was different than what we ordered. Pretty inconvenient considered we waited almost a month to get this delivered. Now, let's get to the clown show that is the management of the Sterling Ashleys store. Please note, I have no beef with the customer service department of the store. They were all courteous and addressed my concerns fully. My fist encounter with management was a clown, lets call her Amy, started with her being super defensive and immediately explaining to me how it wasn't their fault but that the true blame was on the distribution center. This was within 2 mins of the start of our conversation and prior to me even really complaining. I realized immediately the class of person I was dealing with and asked for her supervisor. In comes the head clown, Keavis Davis, (he spelled the last name out for me, lol). This guy talked over me the entire time and called me irrational for requesting a return of the delivery fee b/c I wanted my furniture within 30 days of ordering. He denied me a refund and even laughed at how I had signed the paperwork with fine print stating there are no refunds. He also was unable to give me an estimated arrival of my items that were incorrect because they don't operate and Sundays and Mondays and he was to busy/lazy to call them right away on Saturday. This clown not only wears big shoes and has a big red nose, but he also apparently has an sense of humor. Long story short. Please don't waste your money at this circus. Its a FRAUD company! Their hospitality only lasts until the item is purchased! Delivery is screwed up and no updates are conveyed abt the delays unless we call them. Turns out our order is delayed by 3 months, which we found after calling them ourselves and that too on the week we were supposed to get the delivery!Total chaos in their management.. So Ashley has proved it is worse in Sale execution and in Post sales service also. I received delivery after 2 months. Got sofa delivered damaged. No refund of deliver charges after such a late delivery. Mattress becomes damped in 1 week. Such a poor quality. Opened a customer service ticket no 110532560 on 15th Jan, 2017 and still waiting for replacement. Customer service even never care to give a call back to confirm mattress replacement and some even says there is no ticket in system. The day before the delivery was supposed to occur, I called to confirm only to be told that the delivery would not be made. The customer care person stated that the delivery was scheduled a week later. When I spoke to the manager he claimed it was because one piece of the order was broken so they couldn't deliver the rest of the order. I have had great service at other Ashley's but this store is the worst. If I had not called they never would have reached out to me to advise the delivery was not going to happen. I purchased a sectional from them last year. Never really sat on one of the sections as it is just my girls and I and they prefer the "cuddler" corners. Had a visitor in from out of town and the first time anyone sat on the armless loveseat they noticed something wrong with the frame. We feel around and the front board is completely cracked. I call and talk with a lady and she says to send in pictures. Within an hour of the conversation I have the pictures emailed to her. A week later I call to check on the status - no one has even opened the email to look at the pictures. They also did not respond. Couple days later I call and they say they will have a manager call me. We arrange to have a technician come out to look at it. Take the day off and wait. No tech ever shows. No call. Nothing. I call 2 hours after scheduled time and am told that the tech was 20 minutes away. Nope - never did show up. Spoke with a nice lady that evening who apologized from the inconvenience and submitted for an even exchange. Great. I then get a call from Janelle saying that is not their process and a technician has to come out. Technician comes out, takes the felt off the bottom of the armless love seat looks at the broken boards underneath and says it cannot be repaired. He states the company should provide an even exchange and they would contact me in a few days. Do they? Of course not. When I call them a week later I get to speak with Janelle again. She tells me that they are not going to do an even exhange but come and take the item back to their shop to fix. When I asked to see a copy of the technician's report she refused to provide stating that is an internal document only. I have another love seat that I bought from Ashley. That was a good experience, and a decent piece of furniture. But after the experiences in the horrors of their "customer care" department, I cannot in good faith recommend to anyone. While I didn't hear back from the folks at the Sterling store I was able to reach a supervisor at the customer care location at the Fredricksburg facility. Stephanie was the best, after explaining the situation she indicated that is not how we operate as a company and within a short time the items I purchased were scheduled for delivery on the original date. Now I'm thinking great customer service!! She even called me to work through a possible defect in the dresser and again responding positively in caring about the customer. This is an honest review. Saw a dining table at the store and ordered it with 6 chairs. 3 weeks later 1st table arrives DENTED. Returned waited 2 weeks later. Darker table arrives (not the same table I ordered) and had scratches on it. Returned and waited 2 more weeks. The 3rd table was supposed to have been checked by manager prior to arrival for any dents, scratches and color. Got a call saying manager has performed quality check and delivered table. Table was scratched and not the same color. Customer Service tried to tell me there are LED lights at the store and makes the furniture look lighter than it really is. Now I have to wait for a call from someone from the store to get this resolved. I honestly do not think this will get resolved. Do not order furniture from this store. read more

Originally, the table and chairs were delivered and 4 chairs were wobbly and uneven and 1 was splintering. We contacted customer care and they arranged to send 4 new chairs. We have had to call and follow up weekly to find out when they would be delivered. When we finally set up delivery they only brought 3 chairs and 2 were wobbly and uneven again. We were told they would send 3 new chairs and that was weeks ago and we still have heard NOTHING! We have left several messages for the manager and have never been contacted. Initial purchase was to b delivered no later than 3 weeks. It took 5 after I made multiple calls. I've went to the store multiple times and spoken with the same manager. Tonight he told me my issue "is not a priority to him, it's not a big deal." Wow. $2000+ sale is not a priority. Eventually after arguing with them, we got 70% of the price we paid for the furniture and they charged a 30% re-stocking fee. If I could give them no stars I would! My husband and I purchased a sofa bed from this store. The piece was delivered and when we went to actually sleep on it we found out that when the bed is pulled out it is not flat your head is below the rest of your body and feet. It is unhealthy and uncomfortable and not possible to sleep like this. Ashley sent out a technician twice and they admitted that this is how the sofa is manufactured but will not do anything about the problem. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM HERE! read more

Over the past 5 months we have called numerous times, we have been nice, we have gotten frustrated and angry, we have begged and we have failed to see our furniture delivered to our house. We did receive the two desks in January, both had defects. We asked that they bring the corrected drawers for our desks the following week when they said the rest of our furniture would be delivered (another broken date), instead they shipped them to our house for us to deal with. We sit here, 5 months after purchase and still don't have our bedroom set. We keep being told that it's out of stock, that it'll be delivered soon, it hasn't, and we're feeling like it won't. Ashley furniture has stolen $4,135.97 (minus two defective desks) from us, there's no other way to view it at this point. read more

It's been four months now and Ashley furniture still has not been helpful after two tech visits to determine if the couch is up to par. Both techs agreed with me and one tech even supplied three new cushions. Still no change!! The couch is junk and I want a new couch. It's so uncomfortable and I'm sinking down into the chaise and tilting and it's just junk. And here's the kicker: they don't care!!! read more

This is a review of this store and the national company combined. The experience of buying furniture from Ashley's involves both. Pros: - Convenient website for browsing furniture. - I found a couch of decent quality and style. - I like being able to go to a showroom to experience the furniture before buying. - The store had a higher price than the website but let me pay the lower website price. - The store had a lower delivery fee than the website (90 vs 140) given that I would accept delivery on a Wednesday or Thursday of some week. - Had my furniture in reasonable time frame (two-ish weeks). Cons: - Delivery process had problems. I was given a date range when delivery was expected. I was told to expect to receive a call from the delivery company for the exact date of delivery. Never got the call. Had to go to the store again to get written confirmation of an exact delivery date. They had no clue why I didn't get a call. - Couldn't buy at any store nationwide. I went to a showroom outside of Virginia during vacation to see the furniture. I liked it and was ready to buy but was told that the out-of-state store could not deliver to my place in Virginia. read more

Read a ton of negative reviews so was very leery of purchasing my furniture from here. However they had a nice reclining sofa/loveseat combo that I really wanted. Sales rep worked to get me a great deal on financing and the delivery was estimated at 2 weeks but only took 1 week. Extremely happy and will keep them in mind for future purchases read more

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS ASHLEY STORE! Poor customer service. INCOMPETENT SALES PEOPLE and no desire to correct the problem they created! Dave Williams was my sales person. I ordered a 4 poster king size bed before Thanksgiving and when it came time to deliver Dave the sales person forgot to order the posts! They couldn't deliver the bed. Now I'm moving from MD to CA in 3 days and they cannot order the posts to be here in time. They have not done anything to correct it. I've made 2 trips to the store and finally had my money refunded but only after standing over them and making a scene! STAY AWAY and go to another furniture store (Value City Furniture next door is probably better than this) or drive to another Ashley. Apparently they are independently owned and operated. read more

UPDATE: Was phoned by Stephanie from Ashley, shortly after posting my original review. Stepanie gave another apology and promise of correcting the issue. Sounds good, right? WRONG! With a date set and hours blocked, I find out ON THE DAY OF DELIVERY that the bed rails hadnt come in and the delivery has to be cancelled. If there was a quarter star available I would give the that, and that would be for the delivery of the other items. ORIGINAL REVIEW: November 2016 I placed an order in the Ashley stored located in Dulles, VA and am truly unhappy. I purchased living room furniture and beds for myself and my son. Out of all that was ordered the bed for my son was not delivered because it was damaged in the warehouse and no one informed me of it prior to delivery. So, during the delivery, the driver placed a called to Customer Care and they explained/apologized for the miscommunication and stated that my son's bed was damaged in the warehouse and because they failed to notify me in advance, that they would deliver the bed at no charge once the new one arrives. During the week of Thanksgiving, I was given a call from Customer Care stating that the bed had come in and will be delivered on the Friday after Thanksgiving between 8-11am. I rearranged my schedule and waiting and to my amazement, they were a no show! I phoned Customer Care immediately and they stated that my bed hadn't come in and was apologetic again. To tell you the truth, I done with the apologies and want the bed delivered. Here it is mid December and still no bed for my son. I have to admit that I am truly disappointed and frustrated with Ashley Furniture and plan no additional purchases in the future if this is how you handle your customer. read more

I wish I can give this place zero stars. I had ordered two mattresses and two boxsprings in full size for my children. First of all, the mattress was listed at $399. Then when I searched online it was $159. The sales person immediately lowered the price. That's like 60% off for like 10 seconds. They are making 300% profit on each item sold. Something seems heavily wrong about that. Then they promised that they would have it delivered in seven business days. I called them on the seventh business day and that they told me to wait another two days. Then after that I called back 2 days later, they said I have to wait 2-3 additional weeks. Then the sales person had the nerve to tell me that all sales require 4 to 5 weeks for delivery and that I should have been aware of that. I guess it's normal to have my kids sleeping on the floor for that long. Anyway, I ended up ordering from Amazon which delivers in two business days via prime. I wanted to cancel the order but the Ashley store said all sales are final even though I have not received the product and false advertised the delivery. Never again. Furniture I paid good money for is falling apart after two months. A table I had to put together myself doesn't fit together properly and mattress and bed I bought has given me bed bugs. Thousands of dollars down the drain. I'm going to have to get rid of everything I purchased. Will NEVER buy from them again read more

Purchased a sectional sofa 1 year ago, including coverage for things that went wrong. In that year, sofa has pilled like an overwashed sweater, the pieces holding sections together have falled off, and staples have started jutting out of the fabric (both between the seats and on the back). Also, every cushion looks like a bag of potatoes; not one has held a decent form. Now I have to fight insurance to make sure I prove it was "intentional damage" instead of just "normal wear and tear," even though the salesman and the store manager both assured me at the time of purchase that the insurance covered EVERYTHING.
