The salesman Jeff was very attentive and helpful. We got our furniture when they told us we would and The delivery guys were very nice, a little rushed. The furniture was exactly what we ordered however the power recliner stopped working the first time we sat it. We called immediately, and were given service as soon as possible. There was really nothing wrong with the chair but the delivery guys in there hurry to move on, made a slight mistake which made our chair stop working. I had a great experience at Ashley. Bethany did an amazing job listening to what we needed and therefore made our shopping experience simple. Ask for Bethany! She's amazing! We received our couches in about a week and coffee table and end tables in three. Considering we made our purchase during their Memorial Day sale we were pleased with the timing. After purchasing a sleeper sofa and chair from the Springfield, Missouri location, Store manager S. Jennings. We were told to expect delivery on the 13th. After taking the day off I phoned the store about my delivery and they patched to corporate. Corporate told me delivery on the 20th. Taking yet another day off of work on the 20th, I called again around 10:00am. I was then told by corporate that our delivery date was the 13th. I explained that I called on the 13th to be told it was 20th. Then she told me that the warehouse just received my furniture and today's delivery is not happening. I called the store to complain and I was told that they didn't know what happened, they could only refund the $119 delivery fee and I need to schedule yet a 3rd delivery date. This means I would be waiting 3 weeks for my furniture when I had already sold my old furniture the previous week cause I was told I would have my new Ashley furniture on the 13th. I called corporate to speak to a manager and was disconnected the 1st time. Called the 2nd time and was told the manager was busy and would call me back. That never happened. This is unexceptional, I can not afford to take days off of work with out pay at Ashley Home Stores leisure. I did get a refund but returned to the store to get it. read more

Be careful doing business with this company. They make everything seem really good at first! Then when you have a problem then they are like good luck nothing we can do. Our salesman James lied right to my face before I purchased the furniture about the extended warranty plan. I asked him the same question two different times and he lied to about both. All they do is sell overpriced cheap furniture! The furniture looks great in the store but once you get it home if you will look closely you will see how cheaply it is built. All the reviews on here is so right the "worst" customer service ever and will not stand behind their product. You are much better off going next door to La-z-boy. We bought a recliner from Ashley home store, store staff was professional and courteous, we picked our recliner up at their warehouse and it turned out to be the wrong color and they went above and beyond replacing it that day with the right color. If there was a zero option I would pick that, after the salesman made the sale on our $1800 couch, he was never to be seen. He sent someone else over to do his paperwork, before that tho he wouldn't leave us alone. Sales lady after him was rude, probably because it wasnt her sale. I will never shop at Ashley furniture again!!! I bought a new leather couch, love seat, chair and a half and ottoman for over $6,000, I returned it and exchanged it for a different set and the return cost over $1200 (20% of the original purchase price). It also took the sales associate several hours to figure out how to do it and to get checked back out. Then it took almost a month to get my in-store credit for the difference. Then, a few months after getting my new leather couch set the cushions start flaking and discoloring, so I called the store and was transferred to the "customer service dept." where I had to leave a message, then a few days they called me back and told me their process of me sending them pics of the problem, and that was a few days ago and I still haven't heard back yet!! read more

Wife and I watched commercials for huge sale, (it's been a while), and we drove the 62 miles to see. It was BEYOND an insult for lack of better words. It is no lie, we were definitely given the once over, ( we weren't wearing suits or gowns), and we had to chase down and shout for help and they were not busy when we went in. The quality of furniture seems decent. We purchased a number of pieces. The down side of this store? You make the purchase, then sit for weeks on end to have it shipped and delivered to your home. When following up with a local store associate regarding one piece that is still not here (5 weeks and counting) I learned that nobody other than the sales associate who served us can answer the inquiry. Apparently, Ashley Furniture doesn't keep records of who bought what items. You think they'd have a central database that anyone could access in order to explain why an item, that was paid for weeks ago, is still not in our possession. I'm a bit suspicious of that business model. Next furniture purchase my family makes will be with someone else. read more

One star is way too high of a rating for this store. If there was a negative rating I could select I would. My experience with this furniture store was a nightmare. I ordered a bedroom set in August and now it being October, I've yet to receive the last two pieces due to both items being damaged - one item arrived damaged twice, having to cancel our delivery both times. The other item was delivered damaged which I refused to accept. Both items were said to be on back order until November and now apparently December with no guarantee on either arriving then. So far we have had a total of five cancellations for delivery due to back ordered/damaged items, no communication from my salesman whatsoever and no communication with the same manager more than once. Any updates on the missing items were initiated by my calls or visits to the store. There has been no attempt to make this disaster right other than to deduct our delivery fee which required numerous follow-up calls/visits to the manager(s)....two said they were going to take care of the delivery refund and never made that a priority. Hopefully third time's a charm as I wasn't leaving the store without proof that the delivery refund would finally be taken care of....we will see. Shop elsewhere!!!! read more

I did interior design for almost 13 years and have always been happy with the products and service that I have received at the Rogers, AR location. I primarily have used them for accessories, occasional tables, chairs, case goods, and dining furniture. They have always been friendly and accommodating to my needs for both my clients and myself. They have a warehouse located about 3 miles from house, so delivery has always been a no fuss transaction. I just recently purchased a pair of lamps for my home that were the finishing touch to my bedroom en suite. I highly recommend the Rogers, AR location! read more

Jamey at the Springfield Mo location is a great salesmen. We had a large order with some specifics regarding kids beds and he took the time to listen and got everything exactly how we needed it.....end of good review. Our first order was rather large so we expected some bumps. We got more than we expected however in the form of more changes to delivery schedule and multiple deliveries. After all was said and done, we got our stuff. Went back Dec 12 2019 to order a matching end table. Was told it would be ready for pick up on the 28th. I drove to pick it up and was told it wasn't there, it was in St Louis. Was told it would be ready for pick up on the 31st and that I would get a call or text when it was ready. 31st comes and goes and by the 3rd, we had not had any contact so called customer service. My dear lord, that was anything but. When asked why we haven't heard anything or why we didn't have our product the response was "I don't know". When we asked to speak to a manager were told "there isn't one here". We then gave the other person on the line some basics of customer service 101 like "hey, I'm sorry you are having this experience and met me see what I can do" and a few other tips. Still nothing, basically like talking to a wall. I then found an email through negative reviews on google (and there are plenty there and FB, please review them and go elsewhere) and sent an email. Was told that my information was sent to the Escalation Team and should hear something within a few days. 5 days have passed since then and nothing. To recap, end table ordered Dec 12 and HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY CONTACT ABOUT WHEN I CAN PICK IT UP. I would avoid this place unless you need a second non paying job because you will be doing a lot of work to get your order. read more

We had a great experience there and love, love, love our salesperson Sunny. She was fantastic!! We spent $4,000 with them. Unfortunately, Sunny's manager was extremely short and rude to us when we asked her for a discount on a busted stool that was on the showroom floor. She wouldn't even follow us over to look at the piece. Stating, " We can't sell it because our salespeople need it to sit on and she'd need to order a replacement and wait two weeks". The only other negative was when we needed to return two defective nightstands. They wouldn't issue a credit to our account and only gave an in store credit. We have purchased a lot of furniture at this store and have always been quite pleased. This time was no exception. The salesperson was very patient and accommodating and the sales transaction was handled efficiently. As usual, our furniture arrived even earlier than the promised due date. Due to problems with our scheduling, we needed to reschedule the delivery date twice but the gal at the delivery warehouse couldn't have been sweeter or more accommodating. Working with her again reminded me that I had gotten busy the last time and never did send in a complimentary review on her a few years ago when our condo burned down and we had to replace all of our furniture. Once again, her bubbly attitude and willingness to accommodate us made for a very pleasant experience. I would definitely shop here again! read more

Worst experience I could ever imagine buying a furniture set. I will never shop at an Ashley's Furniture store again. We came in on Memorial Day weekend and found a furniture set - it was delivered two weeks later but the furniture did not match when we were told it would. We sent back the mismatched piece. After a week of not hearing anything about the order, I called the Springfield store to check on the status - not only had nothing been done, but I learned that the third piece didn't come in the matching color of our other two pieces purchased. After a week of calling and arguing with the manager, she finally canceled the order. However, now we are stuck with an incomplete step but she was unwilling to help us out. I found an expedited customer care email and reached out. After no call, I emailed again and was finally able to reach a supervisor in KY. Long story short, we were given a small discount to purchase a third piece. It was to be delivered today and after waiting around all morning we finally called. They aren't able to deliver it but never bothered to call to reschedule. Terrible customer service and unprofessional. No friend or family member of ours will ever step foot in an Ashley Furniture store again. We were told we should have know which furniture came in what colors and fabrics, serial numbers on my receipt - I'm sorry, that is why we came into the store to seek a professional's service. I could have saved money and shopped on Overstock and made sure that my furniture matched. Instead, I knew I needed some assistance with this investment and I made the wrong choice by shopping at Ashley's. read more

I purchase a Beauty rest mattress from Ashley about 2 years ago and I loved this mattress! But about 3 months ago I started not sleeping and noticed that my mattress had started to sag. I called Ashley and they sent a guy out to inspect my bed. I had to wait until they had an opening on a Saturday because I could not take off work. Two weeks later they showed up and inspected my mattress. They another week they called to let me know that there was a spot on my mattress. Which by the way I didn't see or the guy inspecting it did not tell me about. The spot was about the smaller then an eraser on a pencil. Which if the guy had said something to me I would have cleaned it before he had left. They told me I had to clean the spot before they would warranty the mattress. I ask them to tell me where this spot was because I was did not see any spots on it. He told me where it was and I finally found it cleaned it. Because this was taking so long to get the mattress replaced this time I had to take off work to meet them at my house. The next guy was supposed to just come out to make sure the spot was clean or so that is what I was told. NO this guy was from a different company and he had to measure my mattress AGAIN. Now 4 more days pass I call Ashley had to leave a message, then finally Ashley calls and says they will warranty the mattress. But I have to go to Ashley and pick out a new one because they do not sell my mattress anymore. The closest Ashley is about 20 minutes across town for me. I go to Ashley and one salesman who starting to help me but he had to finish with the couple he was already helping. I get it they work off commission. Ok so I go and start looking at the mattresses, he finally comes over and I tell I him my budget and still tries to get me to buy something that was 1000.00 over my budget. Plus he stops talking to me to help yet another customer. At this point I am extremely frustrated with him and I leave store. But because I had to come back to get a new mattress I went back the next day. The salesperson was really nice and took the time for me to find a mattress in my budget. BUT it is now going on 6 weeks from the time I called to have my mattress replaced and I still don't have a new one at my house! This is insane!!! A warranty replacement should not take this long to get resolved! I would not recommend buying anything via Ashley. read more
