When you are in the store nice and friendly. They don't have anything at the store but floor models, so don't expect to leave with anything. I assumed they would be able to get things in a timely manner but I was wrong. I ended up buying couch, chair, and full bed set. Living room set, and bed frame came in about two and a half weeks, but other pieces for the bed came two months later after them rescheduling, not only was it rescheduled but they were three hours late from the delivery time I received in the email. read more

Good quality furniture but that's all I can say that is nice. I'm not going to go on and on about our nightmare, so I'll make this short, as all the reviews seem to have a different version of the same story. We spent about $5000 on furniture (Interstate move+divorce=fresh start. They were nice enough when they took our money, no problem there. Once we went from prospective buyers to paid customers, the romance was over. We experienced rude customer "service" people on the phone and total apathy on the store level. Nothing seemed to be their fault. "Oh the factory this and oh corporate that" was the language they spoke. They missed 4 (FOUR!) delivery dates that spanned almost 4 months, which included Thanksgiving and Christmas. We made it abundantly clear that the purchases were contingent on the fact that we needed the furniture for the holidays, which was why they took our money in September. This review does not pertain to the silverdale location. I ordered a chest of drawers from the website in March, knowing that the item was not in stock, but was quoted shipment in May. In May, they emailed saying they would be delivering our chest of drawers and to confirm once we got the call from the delivery service. The call never came. Husband calls in July, sits for almost two hours on hold waiting to talk to someone in customer service and is told that there was one in stock but now they are on back order again. Gets 15% off for the inconvenience. Now, September 3rd, i call customer service and wait 25 minutes to talk to Jason who doesn't want to deal with me so he puts me on hold for another 30 minuted till i get ahold of another rep who is nice enough to transfer me to someone else who can help. I am told by someone who mumbles and is clearly not wanting to be helpful that they have had my order since june and since they reached out to us three times and we never 'confirmed' their calls, our order has been sitting on hold. Mind you, the $300 it costs has been pending in our checking account on and off since then. I said that we only got one message and none since then and she read me off multiple dates they called....none of which we received. She says they did call. So it's our word against theirs. That aside, she said it will be delivered on the 7th, they only deliver on Wednesdays, watch out for a call or text which we HAVE to confirm or it won't be delivered, and no, she cannot give me a window for delivery till we get the call. All in all, super unhelpful people, super hard to even talk to a rep, and a frustrating experience over the past 5+ months. read more

Ugh. Wish I'd read the reviews. The manager assured me with a wink and a smile that it would be delivered on the early side of the window, "they're just conservative on their deliveries". They delayed twice - offering to bring the random assortment of pieces of my bed they had. I said, "Wait, don't waste a trip." then when the missing pieces arrived they called and left a message saying, "we have the backordered pieces but we don't have the pieces we originally had so we're cancelling the delivery until it's all here." I called back, waiting on hold to have them deliver as pieces became available - lest they never all arrive simultaneously at the warehouse. They haven't scheduled the last pieces, but 4-6 weeks is now closer to 13 weeks. read more

The customer service at Ashley furniture was awful. I purchased a couch at the Silverdale branch. Told the sales man what time frame we needed for the delivery (anytime after four). He set us up for the $200 delivery. We got the confirmation that it would be delivered between 12-4pm. Tried calling after waiting on hold for 20 minutes the customer service line disconnected. This happened twice. The next day it happened again. Finally got through after hours of frustration. If you're looking for convenient furniture delivery. IKEA is way better and cheaper fees. I had no trouble with their services for my other couch. read more

My family has had excellent experiences with Ashley HomeStore in Silverdale, WA. We have purchased 2 large sofas, a love seat, a sofa table, and most recently, a set of bar stools. Unfortunately, we have run into a complete lack of customer service with our most recent purchase. We made the purchase on Nov. 12 with a guarantee that they would arrive for store pick-up by Nov. 26. The 26th came and went and we received no word on the status of our order. We called and were told by Ashley staff that our order would arrive by Dec. 20, guaranteed. It's now the 27th, and Ashley is supposedly going to "call us back." Whatever that means. I'm very disappointed. I will not be recommending Ashley HomeStore to anyone that I know. In fact, I'll be sure to speak poorly of this company to all my family and friends. Lousy. read more

Furniture hasn't even been delivered yet and I'm not happy. We were sold a piece of furniture without knowing it was back ordered, then was scheduled a delivery for a portion of what was purchased. We received two phone calls stating that our table would be delivered on a certain date. The delivery never showed up and Ashley never had the courtesy to call and tell us it wasn't coming. We took time off from work to be home for delivery. We have purchased from Ashley before without issues, however this will probably be our last. Also, if you try calling the phone number provided, be prepared for a 20 minute wait until someone will talk to you. I wouldn't recommend going here. read more

We bought a Signature Design lamp on 28 Dec 2019. We got the sale price of $200. We received it from UPS approx the 2nd week of Jan. After about a week of use, the lights starting blinking after 2 hours of use. The store in Silverdale, asked us to bring it back. We live approx 25 mins away, but brought it back on 22 Jan, and the store ordered us a new one. Today, (Feb 3rd) we received our new lamp via UPS. Immediately upon plugging it in the wires started smoking. Again the store says we need to bring it back to them. It is totally unacceptable to get 2 defective lamps, and now both times we need to bring them back. We will not shop there every again! read more

We have the delivery guys here now. Ashley HomeStore delayed our delivery once already, causing me to miss a day of work to accept a delivery that never came. As you can imagine myself and my wife were excited they actually turned up today as re-scheduled. They've just unpacked the bed to begin assembly and the bed is defective and they cannot assemble it. They're now packing the defective product to take it away. We are bedless again for god knows how long. To say we're upset about this is an understatement. I was with my parents when they purchased this "package" deal. I felt that the prices were very inflated to try and show saved value, and also did not appreciate the salesmanship. But regardless, my parents were excited about their package deal. They host childrens' groups at the house and also watch grandchildren, including my daughter, and needed to have everything put into place on the delivery day after making arrangements to move out the old furniture. The delivery came--no rug, no accessories. The delivery man even said we should make a claim. Total pain and a problem for hosting. I called on their behalf and customer service couldn't even connect me to a store manager in Silverdale, who was too busy to take the call. I would recommend against dealing with this store. Is there a way to put 0 stars? So let's talk about Ashley's Furniture. We bought a significant amount of furniture on November 11. We still have not received our order in its entirety. The store keeps pushing back shipment dates. Now, they are claiming we have items we simply have not received (and we have already been charged). This has been the biggest disaster. The customer service at Ashley's is hands down the worst ever. David and Maddie were sooo helpful in getting what could be delivered limped in from Portland ( 4 days late). Was surprised to find out we had extra company coming for the holidays. Purchased a large table set and some and access furniture, however could not get it delivered in time. Chose to pick it up at the warehouse in Tacoma, the staff was wonderful and fairly quick. We were dreading putting the furniture together ourselves; it only took five hours for eight pieces of furniture. That was ever so amazing. Absolutely take warning when shopping here. The negative reviews are right on point with what we dealt with. We first stopped in and looked around to see what, if anything, we liked. We ended up finding what we wanted and proceeded to make the deal. When I was given an insane delivery price I said "were good, we are leaving thanks".. Enter salesman tactics. Said they would wave the fee or take discount off the couch so we agreed. Then it came time to talk about delivery. I was told it would be over a month, so again I said no we don't want this, let's cancel this and tried to leave again. Enter salesman tactics. I was then told I could get even more off the couch price and they would get me a delivery date within a couple weeks. Awesome, okay I'm in!! I paid for the couch in full, about 3100$ and was told I would get an email the next day about delivery date. Cool, awesome. The next day comes and no email. Didn't think too much of it and went on with my day. Three days go by so we call and ask what the story with the couch is. We were then told by Linda "delivery date is not set in stone" and that a delivery date for August would be when we would get it. It's June mind you. So again, I said no, cancel my order and refund my money this is not what you told me. Enter salesman tactics. I was then offered even more off the price again and a promise to work on getting a better delivery date. I declined and asked for my refund. I was then told I would have to go all the way to their store to process the return otherwise they could not cancel it.. so we had to go all the way to their store only to get asked AGAIN what the issue we and if we could fix it. NO YOU CANNOT FIX IT. I then had to wait awkwardly for 10 minutes while they figured out the return. Finally got it handled though. I will never shop there and I suggest you don't either to save the hassle. But if you must shop there, take this as a lesson. Keep telling them no and walk out as many times as possible. You'll get a couch for half the price and save that money for the alcohol needed to deal with their antics on delivery dates. Also, to be fair to the sales team, they did their job and were courteous and friendly. This is more of a corporate issue so I do not blame any one employee. It is not their fault they are putting items in their show room and not being able to have a reasonable delivery time due to shipping, manufacturing or whatever warehouse delays that are happening. Step it up for your employees because they lost out on sales because of the mismanagement. We had intended to fill our new home starting with the couches. That is a huge loss. read more

Our situation is not their fault; however, the lack of compassion from the office manager was lacking as she continually pointed out that the floor model is not an accurate representation of what customers are purchasing (paraphrasing) because it has been on the floor for 6-12 months. I'd give them 4.5 stars. The pricing was reasonable. The quality is nice. The sales rep was friendly. The issues I had: The sales process takes a long while. Like the sales rep sells you what you want. Then he had to fill out forms. Then they have to wait for a cashier to be ready to help you and you have to fill out some more stuff. Once we agreed on a sofa to buy it took an additional 40 minutes just to pay for it. Also, we set up a delivery date and time. Well they confirmed delivery both by phone and email. The day of delivery it never was delivered. I called to find out why and they said the Ashley store put we were on vacation and not to deliver it. Obviously mad I wasted an entire day at home waiting for my sofa, I called the store. The sales rep got it all fixed and delivered the next day, but it was aggravating that two days were lost waiting for delivery. And why confirm delivery by phone and email to not deliver it? Also, delivery is expensive and the delivery company was kind of rude. Anyhow, I'd buy from Ashley again because they did make it right. Just can't give them 5 stars because of everything. read more

Nope. Never again. My husband and I went in 10/25 to find a large rug, we found one that'd match our scheme and filled out a lot of paperwork (mind you, we were buying on store credit) and everything seemed great, we'd get the rug before the extreme cold weather set in! We were promised within three weeks we'd get a phone call to have the rug shipped directly to us in three days. Great! Well, three weeks came and went then it was 5 weeks after ordering and still nothing! So I call corporate (didn't realize that when I was making the call) and the lady was very rude, then told me she'd call me back when she knew more. A week later I'd still not heard back so I go into the store and talk with Jacob who is one of the worst retail workers I've had the displeasure of dealing with. I went in with a simple question of what was going on but he was still short with me and complained about how he spent too much time at the store. I can sympathize with that, but to be so disgruntled about your job to your customer is unprofessional and off-putting. Anyway, he tells me he'll call back, it's 12/2. 12/15 I go back in and talk with another woman in the store. Now I'm a little terse. She explains that two of their manufacturer's suppliers are behind and that the last correspondence between Jacob and corporate was 12/3. I tell her I'm wary to trust her to call me back about an eta as it's not been something that's worked previously. She tells me that she'll send another email to corporate and pass it back to Jacob, seeing that she's going on vacation. Great! Three tries and I have some information but still no idea about when I'll have my rug. Christmas comes and goes with no phone call and I go in 12/29 to find I get to deal with Jacob again. This time I've come to cancel my order. I've had enough. I keep getting promised a phone call with an eta, with any bit of information and I keep getting the shaft. This is just the worst customer service. He tells me that the rug is now en route, how freaking convenient. So if I'm to cancel now I have to pay 25% of the rug for restocking, despite them not holding up any part of their promises to me. Jacob tells me he'll email for a tracking number (why he doesn't have open access to that who knows) and then he'll call me with an eta. He also tells me he didn't call back after my first visit because corporate never got back to him with an eta and he didn't call after my 12/2 visit because the woman I'd dealt with never told him to pick it up again. He'd seen her pick it up so he dropped it. So everyone else is to blame. 12/30 4p I call asking for the manager. Lo Jacob is the manager. Jacob's not called me back, he's had two business days, I was in rather early yesterday. He tells me he said he needed a few days. No, Jacob you didn't. He also says he didn't want to call me with no information. A call with no information considering the current rate of return calls with this company would be a pleasant surprise. I was rude, I admit that. I told him he's bad at his job. But...He is. My opinion of that has not changed since saying it. I've been very passive about this whole ordeal and he's been a complete ass-hat. I tell him he needs to tear up the contract, eat the cost, or something because I'm not taking the rug, and I'm not paying a cent. He tells me to call corporate. I waited on hold for 20 minutes. I talked with a young woman who redeemed the company as much as they'll ever be redeemed for me by being pleasant, understanding, and putting up with my misplaced anger. She got me out of the penalty fee and I don't have to take the damned rug. read more

Furniture is horrible quality..our dining room "leather" seats were wearing color and material after a year. Recliner chair started squeaking and coils popping out after 6 months. And please, even if you decide to buy their furniture, DO NOT purchase the MONTAGE INSURANCE PLAN!!!!! I just reached my 5 year term and was told by MULTIPLE store associates (we spent days and hours at this store) that you get a refund of the full amount if you do not use the insurance after a 5 year period. Well I just spoke with Ashley Furniture Corporate to claim the refund and they said "it's not a refund, it's an in-store credit". I'm guessing they figure people will forget about the insurance after 5 years so they can lie about it. I will never return to this store. read more

Before my husband and I went in the store, I told him I hopped that we wouldn't get harassed by sales person and if that was the case, I wanted to just leave. Nobody likes to be harassed to buy something. Thankfully that was not the case! Right away we were helped by Amanda T. She was friendly, helpful and to the point! Really not sure they deserve two stars. Purchased a couch initially and delivery was 3.5 weeks out. Finally received the couch and the electronics on it do not work properly and the wife was not super in love with it. Went back to Ashley's to find out that there is a $149 charge for re selection and we had to spend the same amount or more which I was never informed of at the initial purchase. However, they did let me know hat I could do a deselection within 14 days. Upon our arrival to look for new furniture, our saleswoman was completely unprofessional and had no knowledge of the furniture, policy's or how to complete the transactions. My wife was continuously fed lies and wrong information. I do believe they just got their last dollar from me and I will not be shopping with them again. Sales people followed me around like I was going to put a couch in my pocket and walk out. When I told them that I was looking for a comfortable, basic recliner, they told me that I was wrong. Apparently, I was looking for a super-deluxe, Binford 6100 power recliner. We were told it all would arrive together at the same time and when they showed up to deliver, they didnt have the dining room set. The delivery dudes were good about it, but then we called the delivery customer service to see where our table is....all they could say was "it was the only thing missing" like we should have expected stuff to be missing in general. No offer to reimburse delivery fees, and all they said was "sorry, we might call Saturday to get it delivered Monday." Might? My girlfriend and I are first time home buyers and Madeline helped us sooo much and was super patient. We went to the store twice. The first time we were just window shopping and Madeline too her time and answered 100 of our questions and we felt like we were the only customers in the store. She was extremely helpful and patient with us even though she knew were there just for information. Next time we went was Labor Day weekend and she greeted us again and helped us furnished our new home! She listen to us and helped us pick the BEST furniture that fit us and our home. The store was super busy and so was she, but again she treated us like family and took her time with us and everyone else she was helping that day. Amazing person. ***Cant say much for delivery. They'll try to get you to buy the sale price sofa by telling you the sale ends at closing. You'll make the purchase, fearing the missed opportunity. You'll go home and have a minute to search for your newly purchased sofa online only to learn that the website offers a sale price of $200 less than the store's "sale" price. You will go back into the store the next day to ask them about the price discrepancy, expecting that it must be an oversight and they will credit you the $200. You will be awkwardly ignored until you are met with the store manager who has no problem asserting the fact that they are "allowed to make the prices" in their store. You'll then take another look at your lovely sofa and see that it's still on sale. You'll confront them about it and they will say nonchalantly that no, the sale is not over. So you cancel your order with them , shake your head in disbelief and never come back again. read more

I really love Ashley furniture a lot. I find their furniture to be high quality and real wood, not that cheap mdf wood from other stores! This time I went to Ashley's to buy my new queen bedroom set. I was greeted promptly and offered help. For the next 2 hours, the manager, Albert T., helped me buy a new upholstered bed frame, matching queen box spring/mattress, nightstand, bench, and chest dresser. Albert, being my salesperson, did not make me feel pressured into buying anything. He was super friendly, respectable, knowledgeable about what products he had in stock, and gave me time alone to make my decisions. My questions were answered and when I needed an opinion on what furniture looked good, I was able to get an objective opinion. I liked the fact that he gave didn't try to sell me the most expensive options on the mattress and gave me several different options, while explaining the pros and cons to each. Delivery ended up being a week later. The delivery team only took 36 minutes to deliver and assemble my furniture. They were super fast and efficient. The areas were cleared off of boxes and plastic wrap when finished. I love that I can rely on Ashley's delivery service! They are top notch! Afterwards, someone called to check up on delivery. I work night shift, so immediately after my furniture was delivered and installed, I went to bed. I woke up later to find 3 missed calls following up on my delivery. The message stated that if I had any questions or issues, to call back their number. Since I was satisfied with the delivery, I didn't think I had any reason to call Ashley's back. I went into work that night and was told Ashley furniture called my work asking for me. Again, I found this to be a bit excessive on the follow up. I understand why they do this. Once or twice would suffice, but I found the multiple calls this day was overdone. If I had anything negative about the delivery, I would have let them know immediately. if they really wanted me to call them back, then they should have specified in the voicemail message. But in a good way, this makes their customer service top quality b/c they really follow up and are thorough on services after furniture is delivered. Not a lot of companies do this. I will continue to buy from Ashley furniture in the near future. I am a fan of their furniture and service! I'd highly recommend their branch in Silverdale! read more
