This store is very shameful, very dishonest, and very disappointing. They don't have a return policy but they will tell you they do when you shop. Once you sign the deal and leave the store they will treat you like garbage and gaslight you going forward. They don't stand by their products, the salesmen will play dumb to your face, and they don't stand by their word. If you shop here you had better hope everything you order works perfectly otherwise you are going to be in for a real eye opener. read more

Major delivery issue with Ashley Furniture(Carle place location). I ordered a couch on Black Friday. Only half was delivered. Haven't heard from the manager(Akeim) in months despite multiple requests for him to call me. I did hear from a solutions manager(Marlon) in NJ two weeks ago who tried to help reschedule and they were unable to deliver the piece. They can't be bothered to complete the order but don't worry they're still collecting payments!!! DISGUSTING. AVOID. read more

Had a great experience purchasing a mattress and frame from this store... Lisette and Malik were very informative, friendly and professional throughout the process. Also the drivers and the delivery process was excellent... I highly recommend this store read more

We negotiated with the sales manager and were told this is absolutely the best price we can get and that the price of our couch would be never go lower than his price. So we took what we thought was a deal. The couch was delivered and a week later the price dropped by $1500 . We immediately contacted the sales manager and were told nothing he could do about it. The price dropped after 8 days . I will never trust a sales person from this place again buyer beware . read more

Great service, great experience! My boyfriend and I purchased a home recently, so we've been shopping around for a dining set. After looking at a few things online and being disappointed by some oddly textured, fake-looking wood peices at another store nearby, we found a beautiful, real wood set at Ashley and were assisted by Curtis. Curtis is the best! He was super friendly and very helpful. We were toying around with the idea of mixing and matching different chairs with the dining table, and he graciously took us around the store, discussing pros and cons of some of our chair options. He was very honest and helpful in discussing different tones of wood, fabric, leather, etc. In the end, we decided to stick with the matching chairs. While waiting for the paperwork to be printed, he brought us each complimentary coffees. After everything was said and done and we were about to leave, we decided to inquire about an additional bench option. Curtis came back with not only the name and item number, but also measurements and weight and price, simply for our reference. He was so helpful, we decided to just add on the bench, too! :) We would definitely come back and work with Curtis again for any of our future furniture needs! read more

I wish I can give a better rating because the quality is pretty decent. The issue I have is selling people insurance/Warranty for furniture but the warranty is not really covered ever! They will not replace your damaged sofa, bed, or anything. The technician who came to my home was very nice and was brutally honest with me and said it's 99% chance they will rather have a tech come fix it then replace it. The email I attached here is proof they will never replace or repair anything. Which is sad because after paying over 9k in furniture you will think they will help their customer. I just want to warn others please don't fall for the warranty policy, IT DOES NOT EXIST ! read more

I bought a curio shelf and paid for it on my credit card. When the unit came, it broke on delivery. They told me they don't have another one and I would have to wait a month. After seeing the way it was constructed I said to cancel it. They told me I would get my refund in 48 hours. It's now a week and nobody knows anything. My suggestion is if you buy from this company put it on their financing so you don't have this problem. At this point, I'm still getting the runaround. I've gotten refunds to my credit card within an hour in the past, I don't know what's going on. read more

Worst experience ever. Save your time and Money, go to basically anywhere else instead. Countless problems, no follow up from anyone, had to cancel half my order, other half came broken, a million phone calls and headaches later it has now been over 2 MONTHS and i'm still fighting with them. No one cares and no one answers. Magically, there is never a manager there whenever I call. 1st and last time i will every be shopping with this company. read more

WORST STORE EVER. We came to the store looking for a sectional that was in stock and could be delivered within a week. Candice our salesperson told us the sectional we liked wouldn't be delivered until 12/17, so we said no that's not going to work for us. She said hold on let me speak to my manager, comes back to us and said I can have it to you by next Saturday. We call to confirm our delivery since we never heard anything the night before. The woman who answered the phone told us our furniture would not be coming until December 20th! So they lied to make a sale. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE! THEY LIE TO MAKE A SALE. Went to Raymour instead and it was a much easier and reliable process!!! read more

the service in the store was very good. it was when I was recovering the set of bedroom furniture that was a horrible experience In the first delivery, the dresser drawers didn't close all the way. I was told by my salesman, not to accept delivery. I called customer service to set up another delivery and told her the problem. The second delivery was just as bad. The drivers wouldn't even bring the dresser up the steps. they noticed the damage right away Again I called customer service. set up another delivery. They promised to be sure the set was I good shape. This next time the drivers wouldn't even take the furniture off the truck, it was so bad. The warehouse told them that furniture was made that way and I should take it whether I like it or not. Then a couple of hours later, I got a threatening call from the warehouse saying I have to take the defective furniture becau that how the manufacturer made it and if I don't I will be charged for any other deliveries I finally was able to speak with a manager who was able to get in touch with the warehouse and make sure the furniture was put together correctly. Four days I stayed home and one threatening phone call. I'll never use them again read more

Poor customer experience and chaotic selling process. Buying furniture here means coming prepared to haggle like in a used car dealership. The sales rep will tell you a discount only to be told that they can not honor the discount. I literally had a coupon for 20%, when presented the sales rep told me that they can only do 15% because the sale order was under $3000. No where on the coupon does it state that there is a minimum spend to avail the coupon. And the weird part is that prices on the Ashley website are comparable to what the sales person will give you. I recommend going into the store only to browse and get a feel for the furniture. If you like something order it online and avoid haggling and knowing you will get ripped off. Most times the Ashley website has cheaper prices than the physical store. read more

Do not shop at Ashly furniture. Your better off going to Roseavelt ave and buy the cheapest furniture and it would be better/ last longer than this place. We purchased a dining set from there, no even 2 years later the leather started to peel. We were sold a platinum warranty and told everything was covered from rips to scratches no matter what. What a scam and flat out lie. 2 grand in the garbage. I would also like to add we barley used it. Mostly on holidays and family dinners. A total of 2 dozen times, at most. read more

Well, this is my final review on the chair I purchased in 2021. I was promised the missing pillow in April and it is now the 24th. The reason this is my last review is because I am making the final payment on the chair I received, minus the pillow that I have been waiting ever so patiently for. I will never shop or recommend this store to anyone. The chair just looks out of place. If I could give -* I most definitely would. Good luck Ashley's pretending to be team consumer. read more

Don't even bother browsing or doing business with this store/company. Bought a specific sectional and THE MOVERS damaged the piece. Put me on the phone with customer service gave me the option to keep it and have someone come to fix it. I opted to decline the piece because with the damage they would need to replace anyway. Fast forward to 5 phones, a visit to the store, texts with the salesman, a call from the manager and customer service -- nothing was done. THE MOVERS AND WAREHOUSE put the wrong piece in the computer that I declined... EVEN THOUGH I SPOKE WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM THE WAREHOUSE ON WHAT PIECE. It took 2 WEEKS to then get that one piece THE WHOLE REASON I BOUGHT THIS SECTIONAL, to arrive at my house. It is now 3 WEEKS since I've spoken with Marlin, apparently a manger (but the lady in the store stated Racquel was the manager???), to get back to me about refunding the one sectional as well as the delivery fee they made me pay $500+ for. Do not waste your time, money, or effort... you will be disappointed & left with a headache. Buyers remorse is real on this one! I wasn't even going to post a review because I feel one bad experience should not ruin a business but based off other reviews, this business sucks. UPDATE: the customer service offered me $100 (HALF of the delivery fee). Pathetic for a $2600+ purchase and they can't even refund the full delivery fee. ESPECIALLY since the delivery/warehouse messed up. They can keep the $100! read more

We ordered our furniture from our salesman, Jeff Post in December. He was great to deal with, in fact gave us his cell & email address should any issues arise. Boy, did we fall for it! We were told the furniture was in stock & would be delivered within 4 weeks. Well, we are now in the middle of February...and no furniture. Every time I call customer service they give me a date that's 3 weeks out-seems like bs to me! We paid in full for the furniture, donated our living room & moved with no living room furniture thinking our new furniture would be arriving quickly. Customer service gives you a phone number to call the store manager that only brings you back to customer service again. I recommend that you purchase your furniture elsewhere-where they tell you the truth. Update 3/11/2021: We have received both pieces of furniture-as you can see, our living room looks beautiful! Thanks to Austin from Ashley Furniture for all his help. He has made me reconsider-I do think I would shop at Ashley Furniture in the future. read more

This company messed up in so many ways it is hard to even count. Without going into too much detail, they delivered a broken chair to my parent's house. Customer service was so poor I eventually went to the showroom. Thankfully, the manager their was able to help me get the chair repaired, but the overall experience with the company was a nightmare. Three full days on the phone with them and I was eventually able to schedule a service appointment. I'm only writing this review because I'm sitting here waiting for the service technician to call me between 12 and 4 and the last time I missed their call. Unprofessional and rude. read more

I would give Ashley's zero stars if I could! Buyer Beware -- go shopping anywhere else and save yourself the headache and frustration that's too come. I understand there are delays due to COVID, but I don't appreciate being lied to in order to make a sale. We purchased our dining room & bedroom set Labor Day Weekend 2020 and I was told all of our pieces were in stock and being held for us for a month while our home renovation was being completed. Fast forward to the expected delivery date - I had to call to confirm delivery only to find out nothing is in stock & there won't be a delivery!!! Ever since then I have contacted the store, corporate office, etc and they all give me the run around on how they're waiting on specific pieces. It's March I'm still missing 3 of my pieces! I would have never purchased my sets if I knew I was going to be waiting months. read more

This is the worst place ever to buy furniture I bought a sofa Dec 2019 & paid extra for 5 year 5star white glove insurance ( which is also a big scam) The sofa fell apart in a few months & I tried to get the insurance company & Ashley furniture to fix They promised to come & fix it. Every week they promised to come to my home fix my sofa. This has been going on for almost a year. I took off from work 4 times & they would not show up. They don't call back & pass the buck. The worst service of any store I've ever dealt with. I am still sitting here with a broken sofa after 1 1/2 years of broken promises & basically neglect by this company. OK think sleazy car salesman meet furniture store. These guys prey on you as soon as you walk through the door. They try to engage you in personal conversation about your life, schmooze you with compliments in order to get your sale. They lie to you about delivery dates too! We were told we would get our delivery in two weeks by the salesman. But truth be told you will now have to deal with a 800 number customer service rep and the salesman is nowhere to be found. Horrible couches. Sadly my couch did not even last a year and cushions were replaced 2 times. Not worth the money.

Went in knowing what we wanted, purchased it no problem, it was delivered and had no problems. Fast forward a couple of years and cats, kids, means we need a new couch cushion. Well apparently that's possible, but you have to speak to a dozen people. Our warranty is still good, it's not good, call this number, call that number. Nobody seems to have any idea how anything works. We need to call the store to get our receipt because of course we don't still have it and the serial number is too faded to read. Except when you call the store you speak to a customer service call center that can't help you. Speak to manager time? They can't help you either. It's just not worth it, as soon as you need a replacement part or any kind of warranty service it's a quagmire of incompetence. read more

My husband and I visited Ashley during the week to browse couches. We needed time to think, we decided on one we liked, but wanted to confirm the exact name of it to order over the phone. It was the first couch as soon as you walk in. We were specifically told it was the best seller. We called today to confirm with the store the name of the couch, like I said, directly in front of the front door and the "best seller". Before my husband finished his sentence, just to CONFIRM the name of the couch, the rep cut him off and said "IDK, IDK IDK. I don't have anyone to help you right now." I called another location and they knew exactly what we were talking about, and gave us all the info we needed. When we called the Staten Island location, we were ready to make the sale. Since the rep who picked up was so nasty, we decided not to go with Ashley and found another furniture store that isn't bothered to help customers by simply COMFIRMING a name of the "best seller" that's the first couch I've worked in retail and never would tell a customer that I can't help them, especially when you as a rep are in the store and could've just walked to see if it was the same couch for a $3,500 minimum sale. All we were asking is to CONFIRM the name of the couch when you walk in. She would've known this if she didn't cut us off and say nobody can help us, that someone can call us back. read more

Still no response from the store!!!! I've been told multiple times that I will be contacted as per customer service, but still nothing...

This place is a joke. Ordered a couch on 5/23 and was guaranteed delivery by 6/24. Three weeks later, didn't hear from anyone and we called our salesperson to find out she no longer worked for the company. Fine, not a big deal. Called customer service and was told we won't be getting our couch until late July. First week of July, we call again and now it's early August. Two weeks later, it's end of August. Another two weeks, it's now early September. These guys will sell their soul to make a sale. They do not care for customer service. I've paid for the couch in full and they happily took my payment. I'll give the salesperson Andrew a bit of credit. He convinced me We should receive the couch in August. Even explained how Ashley's biggest shipment order is expected in August and that we are #3 on the priority list for this couch and he would hate for us to wait all this time for nothing. After stopping in to see if we can find another couch, we texted him and he even told us we would be getting the couch on 8/9 just for it to be delayed until September the week after. I know, all things people in sales are trained to say. Shame on me for keeping an open mind and giving them chance after chance after chance to right THEIR wrong. My advice? Stop selling a product you can't deliver! Stop blaming Everything and everyone and own up to your mistreatment of customers. I've been sitting on a lawn chair for over two months now because your staff made a promise and couldn't deliver. Waiving the delivery fee does not fix the problem. I would gladly pay it and more if the couch showed up at my door tomorrow. I should've listened to my friends to stay away from this hell hole. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. These guys are full of it. read more

Based on my experience in the last 2 months i can completely agree with the very low reviews for this store. The level of customer service is atrocious and the sales representatives and managers are incompetent to say the least. There was a lack of knowledge of product, bare minimum service and little drive to assist clients. While so many locations are dealing with delays due to COVID Ashley Homestore promises prompt delivery, according to our Salespersons, Kim and Justin. They reassured us that Ashley Homestore was delivering on-time because they have US based home warehouses unlike their competitors. Sadly, it has almost 2 months and there is no ETA for all my items. So much for that promise. I would much rather transparency. It also was disappointing that my first order was incorrect, the second order was missing items which are yet to be delivered and my third order as i mentioned before has no ETA. There is no way to contact the store directly, and each initiated contact I made was met with promises that were never fulfilled, even promises to simply follow-up with a call. I understand, they are the cheaper option(in every sense of the word) when compared to their competitors and yes, you always get what you pay for, but in this day and age, good customer service is the baseline for all companies. I would not recommend visiting this showroom or any other. It might serve them well to take a page from Raymour's book. My last resort, is simply to cancel the order, which has already proven to be a challenge. read more

The only reason they get a star is you can't give no stars. We went in and purchased a sectional. We looked at one with a sleeper. The one on display had a price that's what we paid. Today it was delivered. Wow no sleeper. We call and they tell us the sleeper is $300 more. So I said well the one we looked at with the price on it was a sleeper. The person I spoke with said yes it was. Well the sales person never ever said that the sleeper was $300 more although she now claimed she did. But no no she did not. There were 4 of us shopping not one of us remembers her saying that. So they played bate and switch nice job Ashley's you have assured that I will never buy anything from you again read more

I'm sorry to read so many negative reviews on this store as my experience was completely different. I had an amazing experience with Ieisha! If she didn't know something, she asked a fellow worker to confirm. I needed to change my furniture during the process and Iesha was not available at the time I was able to go to the store so she referred me to Tim. Tim was great also! Wow. This customer service is the worst I've ever seen. I can't even put into words how frustrating this store is.

At about 10:55 3/26/22, I walked into your store 11514. I was not greeted by a sales rep. I had to walk over to the sales rep. I chastised her for not walking up to the customer. I told her what I was looking for. She walked over to the Manager's office. He told her I should walk around and someone will find me. I said no, I am an old lady and not wakingaroud. She said she would get me a sales rep,she has a customer. I told her I did not see a customer around. She walked into the customer service room and was talking to a lady. The original sales rep had her hand partially covering her mouth so I could not see nor hear what she was saying. I started for the door. Another gentleman came over, I started telling him what transpired. He said I am here now I will help you. I left. I was too annoyed, My $$ is good at many other cheap furniture stores. read more

Home furnishings. This place is interesting, but totally not my style. I would classify this as a cross between "Early Guido" and "conquistador" styles... A lot of leather and big nails on big wood on even bigger size couches - the stuff here would go good in a castle, if you had one. At the other extreme, the cast of Goodfellas might be comfortable with some of the offerings here - a lot of formica and glass combos - Although not my style, it might be yours. Sales people were completely uninterested - except for the one lady who was shadowing us through the whole store- as if I might shoplift a zebra patterned lamp - indeed! Big parking area out front. I did not look at prices as none of the stuff worked for me. read more
