My friend had ordered a couch from here and he asked me to go to his place on a scheduled day to receive the order because he has a crazy work schedule and wouldn't be able to be there and I agree to do so on my day off. Ashley's sent him a text msg with a time frame as to when they will be delivering the couch and he agreed to the 12:30-4 window. After he responded to the text they called him with automated phone call to reconfirm if the 12:30-4 delivery would be convenient and he agreed to confirm. On the day of delivery I arrived to my friends place at 9:30am with a tag on his door that I had missed the delivery by 20min. They were 4hrs early than the original scheduled time. To make a long story short. My friend attempted to reschedule but they had lost 1 of the 3 pieces of couch order and wouldn't be able to deliver the missing piece for 3 weeks. The lady at the Ashley's store also had the nerve to tell my friend, "That's why you should pick a good day for delivery" ! ...we did pick a good day and expected the order to be at at the door 12:30-4. Not FOUR hours early and loose a piece of the couch! So to sum up this headache of a situation, Ashley's needs to clean up their delivery system. This place is an all time joke. "Make sure you pick a good day" for your order.... they might come way early than scheduled and loose your furniture. read more

I made a recent purchase of a bedroom group and a TempurPedic Mattress Set. Based on the service I received, I am providing feedback. Firstly, Nichole is a great salesperson to assist with a purchase. She didn't crowd my space or stalk me as I took my time to view their inventory. (Much Appreciated) She was attentive, when necessary and asked the right questions to understand my needs and expectations. Throughout the process, she confirmed satisfaction and ensured that I did not feel pressured to purchase items. She was personable and professional at the appropriate moments. I felt like she genuinely cared about my experience and not just a sale. She's a keeper. I had to return to the store regarding my purchase and Nichole was off for the day. The Store Manager, Jairo, assisted me with a amicable solution. He was amazing! I never felt rushed and he has a knack for making the customer feel most important. He worked several scenarios to get the results I needed. Again, he was personable and professional. I never felt that the sale was more important than my satisfaction. Thanks to Courtney who did a great job of keeping me informed as she entered the deal in the system. Also, a shout out to Vanessa who worked with Nichole on the deal. Ashley Homestore has some of the most friendly staff ever. Serita Lewis helped my mother and I furnish our two living rooms this last week. She was absolutely amazing! I'm deaf and she was incredibly accommodating and so helpful. She spent over 3 hours with us discussing everything from patterns and tones and firmness of cushions. She even helped us customize a sectional and drew it up incredibly well so we could see exactly what we were purchasing. She worked so hard to make sure that the vision we had came true for our living rooms and even helped us amp it up some. By all means she is incredibly talented and is personable it made the whole experience a blast. And we even came out on budget! She made sure my father had a comfortable chair and a special cooling pillow to go with it. And my mom never had so much fun spending such a moderately large amount of money. And Serita was even nice enough to take down our information and is going to keep us informed if a wall mural we liked dropped in price at all. We never would have thought we would have such a nice experience buying couches and we are so glad that Serita and Geri (the lovely woman who helped with all the finance questions) were able to help us. read more

Thanks to Anthony I was able to get an amazing tempurpedic from him. Wanted to wait to review it just in-case the mattress turned out to be bad. The best part is he wouldn't let me buy a bad mattress. He also insisted on giving me a free bedframe & pillows. I came in on the special priced mattress from Ashley and I was told those priced ones are meant for temporary situations. After he fully explained what he meant I understood that a mattress that lasts me a lifetime even at a semi higher price was worth it compared to a 5-10 year mattress...I didn't think of it! Long story short the whole store was wonderful. I am seeing all these bad reviews of the delivery service and he warned me about it as well, so those reviews definitely aren't faked out. He gave me his third party delivery service and gave me a brief disclaimer, I weighed my options and went with the third party! Third party delivery service was a guy named paul through like ACH or something delivery. Zero stars if I could. We walked in today Saturday. Not one single employee acknowledged us, NOT ONE!. We where there for about 10 minutes, already knew what we wanted since we had found the ashley sets at another store. We just wanted to get the full managers specials they have all we needed was for someone to ask if we needed help and we could've placed the order and left, we walked over the counter, 3 women sitting chatting away, put their head down as we walked by, another tall man with glasses on the heavier side turned around. A man saw and heard us talking about ordering asap and didnt offer to help. I told my husband, let's go, not one person in here wants to help, and he commented back, i guess this people must be on an hourly rate vs commission . As we walked away there was young man by the entrance who said. "Thank you for coming by, have a good day". My star goes to him. Everyone else is a zero in my book. Wonderful service Rick P. Was spot on with helping us decide on the right couch and recliner. Even when I thought I had a change of heart and was looking at a different set he was patient reminded me why I like the first set aleviated my fears about the color and pointed out that the first set really fit our stature and comfort level better. He was so right he really knows his furniture and how to listen to what you really want. It was a great experience and the whole Team was great right down to delivery people. I purchased a living room area rug right before Thanksgiving, and was told I should receive the rug by the holiday, but unfortunately it was approx. one week later. I love the rug! The quality seems great, no odd chemical smells to deal with, and it rolled out perfectly, no waiting for it to "settle". So this store was a bit intimidating at first because of the sales personnel. They had their clipboards and earpieces in ready to swoop the next customer up.
