Great Selection, a wonderful collection of name-brand mattresses and bedding. Lots of floor models on sale. Pillow stuffing, which is something I had not seen before. All of these and some of the reviews I read, brought me in the doors. Unfortunately, my expectations didn't meet my experience. My experience was one of feeling that I was being scammed and pressured into buying a floor model. i was told that the price posted on the floor was for a different mattress and if I wanted that deal, then was would have to get the floor model. What finally pushed me out the door, was the refusal of the salesman to give me a warranty for my purchase and his assistance that I pay cash. The owner specifically told me that if I wanted a warranty, then I would have to pay $200 more!!! After stepping aside with my wife, we decided to leave. We'd had enough of the lying, scamming & predatory techniques employed by Benny. When We were in the car, he ran outside and tried to prevent us from leaving; at one point reaching into the car. We came here to shop for a mattress. The gentleman , whom stated he was an owner, greeted us. Not a great feeling from the get go. After letting him know our budget of $1000 we were corralled into an area with 2 mattresses. And the addition of a floor model. The owners approach to customer service is, in my opinion, condescending. I think the peak of our conversation was when he asked if I understood a pro rated warranty. I said yes. Then he asked me to explain it back to him. As if I stated I understood, but didn't? Long story short he really did us a favor. I ended up at Mancinis and got a great mattress , great deal, USA, and even free removal of mattress and box spring. Clean store. Easy parking. Gentleman seemed pleasant until he spoke. I recently purchased a queen size pillow top mattress from Sleep Haven and couldn't be happier! Benny is extremely friendly, knowledgable, and patient (he waited patiently while I decided on 2 different beds for at least 30 minutes!). The mattress I purchased was very economical but is very comfortable and a high quality mattress. I was moving into a new apartment and he even referred me to an expert mover who helped me the following weekend, which was very thoughtful of him. I have been going back and forth with this unfortunate business owner of Sleep Haven Bedding. The gentleman commented on my first review and referred to his associate calling me a SIR and apologized for it as if that was the reason for my review, no sir it was your horrible attempt at selling me a floor model and becoming unfriendly when I said NO and attacked another store's marketing. When I commented on his comment about calling me a SIR rather than apologizing for the way he behaved in the store, he went back and edit his comment. Lord if I could have screenshoted his comment. Bad business all the way around, watch out he likes to sell you floor models and show you crappy marketing strategies of other mattress stores, rather than having any knowledge about any mattress in his store. read more

We had a horrible experience with Benny at Sleep Haven bedding. It basically bordered on illegal. We went into the store and found a mattress that we wanted to purchase. Benny told us that it was a floor model and if we paid cash- not with a credit card- he would give us a better deal. I then said I would pay with a check; he said I could not. I then offered to pay with my debit card; he said I could not. Yet he told us the money would be going to the manufacturer. So we agreed to give him cash and arranged to pick up the mattress. When my husband arrived with the cash, he asked for a receipt and asked about the warranty. Then Benny refused to give him a receipt and said there was no warranty. We were dumbfounded. What kind of credible businessman does not give you a receipt for your purchase?? We realized this was a scam. My husband wisely backed out of this and said as much. Benny chased him outside the door, banging on his driver side window in a threatening manner. We ended up buying our mattress from Costco-paid just a couple of hundred dollars more-had the mattress delivered with a receipt and warranty. What a shame that this unscrupulous man is still in business. read more

We needed a new bed for our guest room, I found myself if Sleep Haven Bedding. The owner was there and was very helpful. He was busy with other customers, but came to check on me often to assist me. He made me feel welcome, and wasn't at all pushy to make a sale. He was able to make recommendations that saved me money. I ordered a bed, it was due to arrive by the end of the week. When it arrived it was damaged. He called to apologize, and reordered the bed with overnight shipping. He didn't try to pass the bed off, and see if I'd notice. He values his customers. The bed was delivered on time and set up. The bed is beautiful. We are very happy with the quality and service we received. We will be back next time we need a bed. read more

Salesman was really bad I asked to buy a new mattress. he asked why I told him why and he said I need new sheets I told him I want a new mattress he refused to understand that it don't matter why I wanted a new mattress and I told him I'm leaving he was a shitty salesman!! Benny, one of the owners, is amazing. I was there to buy an adjustable bed today. There are so many options for mattresses that work with an adjustable base. Benny showed me options that started at $400 all the way up to $1,300. He explained the differences but did not try to sway me to the higher end mattresses. I ended up choosing one priced in the mid-range. Benny is a knowledgeable salesperson who does not pressure you to buy bigger ticket items, and was very patient with the many questions I asked. We just purchased a metal headboard for our queen bed. We were offered excellent advice re: the choice of bed frame that we also need to buy. We were able to take home the frame the same day and were told the headboard would arrive at the earliest the next Friday, perhaps even the following Friday. It was not a problem for us. But surprise! The following Thurs. (4 work days later) we received a call that the headboard was already in. Great job. We are so pleased with headboard and the service was outstanding. Initially, I was very pleased with our experience, even though the mattress we purchased was breaking our back, Benny had told us it can take 3 months to adjust to a new mattress. After the 3 month mark, we purchased a variety of toppers to try to make this mattress work, but nothing helped. We had what could only be described as "searing pain". At the 7 month mark I began sleeping on the couch. Finally, 9 months later we went in and discussed with Benny that we really wanted this to work out but it isn't and we don't know what to do. His suggestion was we turn the pillow top upside down. It now feels like we are sleeping on a box spring, so we have put an eggcrate foam topper and a 1 1/2 inch topper from Costco, on our upside down mattress. We are out $1000.00 and have to go mattress shopping again. read more

ok, so my hubby and I were in need of a comfortable bed, our bed was a queen and over 5 years old. When I bought that bed back in the day i was younger and healthier and didnt really put much thought into a bed, but now in my early thirties sleep is a huge deal especially with a new baby anyhow I knew the basics of what I wanted which was a king and a icomfort type of bed. so we had went to a couple of mattress places and the service was ok. We were ready to just go home for the night and just buy a bed from the first mattress store we had went to since it was already late, we thought we would just stop in this store just to see what was up and God takes you to places sometimes that is meant to be, the owner helped us with our bed search and he spent about an hour having us test bed after bed after bed, he didnt try to just "sell" he was so abundantly nice and def was not about making the "dollar". His technique was he flipped over any details of a row of beds gave me and the hubby a pillow had us lay on each of the 7 beds for a few minutes each to determine which ones we liked he was patient and listened really really listened. After we found the bed the price was at least 500 less than the place I was going to purchase it, the only thing was we bought the bed on a wednesday and was told the delivery would not be until that sunday, well we received a call friday and was told our delivery would be that saturday between 12-4. Now you all know they say that you are usually waiting patiently until 4 but right at 12 we received a knock and the delivery guys were there they set up the bed in less than 30 minutes even removing the old bed. I will always go back to this place for any bedroom needs!!! read more

Shopping for a mattress was more daunting then my girlfriend and I realized it would be. We had given up and concluded that the mattress industry was a scam. Out of sheer frustration we looked up one last place and we were so glad we did. Benny is so knowledgeable and passionate about mattresses.
