This is my very favorite consignment store - maybe in the whole world. It's clean, curated professionally, and staged beautifully. Best of all, the prices are not in the typical "consignment" range, but affordable enough you are tempted to buy everything! Everything light and bright inside, with styles and eras for every taste and decor. I find way too many treasures whenever I'm in town and have to figure out how to get them all (especially oversized decor and furniture) back home to Utah. They keep expanding and now own the entire storefront on the corner of McHenry and Morris, so you have even more corners and nooks and crannies to explore. I didn't see it at first but plenty of parking behind the store. The employees are all helpful and very sweet. read more

DO NOT CONSIGN YOUR FURNITURE with this store. The manager, Patty, will tell you she will accept your furniture after viewing pictures and then cancel. She doesn't read her emails, nor respond to your questions. Her customer service skills are non existent, and she is unreliable. read more

The owner has such strict rules about her store that the employees cannot make a human decision or judgment call. My son loved an item but we had to wait to hear about the price. When I got the call I was actually in the hospital with my 85 yr old Mother. I told the employee I would call back in 30 minutes to pay for the item. I didn't think that was too much to ask since I waited 2 days for a price I didn't think 30 minutes would be a problem. But I was told " sorry can't do that" I asked again same response "can't do that" can't guarantee it won't be sold in 30 minutes " I thinks it's very sad that a locally owned family business can't teach their employees that making a simple judgement call is ok. After my mother was admitted I listened to a 2 minute voice mail explaining that if I'm not there in 48 hours to pick up the item it will be sold and I will lose my money. I also work in retail and have 153 employees I manage and I would give kiddos to an employee for helping a customer and allowing them 30 minutes . And would hope they wouldn't leave a 2 minute voicemail about the "Rules" Cmon " Home Decor" let your employees be human! read more

They gave me the name of a local service that was fast & friendly also , My New pieces arrived wrapped and they were respectful when bringing the goods in . Looking for new decor and unsure where to go check this place out. There are many different types of items from pictures, furnishings, decorative plates, various glassware and other items to spruce up your digs. There are 2 stores so make sure you check out both of them. Today I picked up a pair of amethyst goblets and a picture of a world map with colors that match my living room. I can't wait to hang it! This place is almost too overwhelming with interesting things to look at floor to ceiling, and many rooms of furniture and decor and antiques for sale. The price point is for what you might get at a discount store like home goods or tjmaxx, but for much higher or the same quality. Plus, it's just waaaay more interesting. WARNING! Once you go in once, you'll keep going back! I stumbled across this place after getting my car washed at Prime Shine across the street. Was always curious to check it out but finally my curiosity got the better of me. Walked in and felt like I needed to make an appoint by the looks of the refreshments out front. Love the flow of the shop and the awesome Christian music playing. The owner and her employee were very sweet and helpful in providing me information on pieces I had questions about. Made my first purchase of an Asian apothecary piece that basically transforms my entire bedroom theme. Super excited for what more pieces come in and out of there every week and I look forward to working with them to sell my pieces of furniture as well. read more

This store is huge! It is not cramped and dark, but just the opposite you can really take in all that is displayed. There are vintage and new slightly used items and art work too. Today when I went they had a big selection of lamps all priced perfectly for my budget so I had a hard time deciding, they were all so pretty! I have consigned numerous things here over the course of almost 3 years. The owner is very professional, friendly and EXTREMELY trust worthy. The consignment agreement is very detailed and clear. IF YOU READ IT. I recommend this place if you are looking to get a good return on things you no longer have a use for. It's very nice to drop it off and then get notified that your item sold and you have money coming. YES, it's that easy!! Okay, I'm giving them only 1 Star for Customer Service. Let me preface by saying I used to be a regular customer and would visit this store at least once a month if not more. I don't buy a big purchase item each time but I usually leave with a little sale. One particular visit I was searching for a side table and after I decided on a different table on the other side of the store I received a lecture from Patti about how you shouldn't say you were going to buy something and remove the tag if you weren't going to buy it. WHAT???? I bought another table from her store (that was actually more expensive)! No big deal things happen, we each have bad days, I shrugged it off. Fast forward to my most recent visit...I had the worst experience with customer service I have ever had at this store. Patti was so incredibly hostile when no other customers were around - she should take a course in customer service! Ida (spelling?) rang me up for my purchase and the receipt didn't print so Patti wanted to recharge me saying that it didn't go through. I had entered my pin and saw it say processing so I pulled up my online banking that clearly showed that they had already charged me. I had to go as far as calling my bank and have the rep talk to Patti telling her that the money had left my account already and they would see it on their end when they processed the payments. Again, these things happen but it was the argumentative rude way that she acted that was unacceptable. She acted like the whole thing was my fault! Wait a minute - I didn't ring up the transaction, I didn't cause the receipt to not print, and I certainly didn't want to spend my entire lunch on the phone with the bank! I work hard for my money and I'm sorry but I didn't want to be charged twice for one item - I know, I'm a horrible customer!!! I like to patronize the local businesses but if this is how she treats her customers then I'm sure there are other local, family run establishments who would love my business! I cannot tell you how many people I have sent their way and referred to this store. NEVER AGAIN! On top of it their prices have increased and you can buy brand new unused items for what they are charging! Although, you can still sometimes find a good deal if you have the time to look and the vendors have great one of a kind items but overall the price is not near as reasonable as they used to be! read more

She excludes informing you of important aspects of the consignment agreement, does not communicate with the consigner, sells your consigned merchandise after a 60 day period without notice, keeping all the profit for herself.
