I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Ashley Furniture. My husband and I purchased a bed and nightstands while preparing our home for the arrival of our baby, who is due in just a few weeks. Unfortunately, the bed arrived with cosmetic damage, which was disappointing enough for a brand-new piece of furniture. However, the much bigger issue happened the very first night I used it. As soon as I laid down on the bed, it collapsed. One of the support legs broke, and it became clear that the support legs were defective. As someone who is heavily pregnant, this was both frightening and unacceptable. Because the bed was no longer usable, I had to sleep on a mattress on the floor. I immediately contacted customer service, provided photos of both the cosmetic damage and the broken support leg, and tried to find a reasonable solution. I was offered only about $40 in compensation for a bed that had both cosmetic and structural defects. Considering the circumstances, I found that offer insulting. When I requested a full replacement instead, I also asked if Ashley could provide assembly service, since my husband had already spent hours assembling a defective bed. The request was denied, and I was told that any replacement would simply be delivered, leaving us to handle the assembly all over again. The most disappointing part of this experience has been the lack of customer care. A brand-new bed should not arrive damaged, and it certainly should not collapse on the first night of use. What should have been an exciting time preparing for our baby's arrival turned into a stressful and frustrating experience. SCAM ALERT*** We bought a kitchen table a few years ago while living in South Florida. This past December we received a letter on Ashley letterhead stating we had a $153.00 "Ashley Cash" and had until 1/20/26 to spend it in store only. We went to our local store in east central Florida and showed them the letter and they said it was good to use and to walk the store. After an hour my wife decided on just a few accent pieces and we wouldn't need to throw in any cash. That's when Christian Andrews, store leader decided the credit would not be honored at his store. Supposedly his Ashley store is a "company" store and the credit came from a "franchisee". Seems to me that Ashley Cash is Ashley Cash? Does corporate not trust their franchisee to do the right thing? Does corporate have no financial connection to its franchisee? Do they not back the franchisee? The customer? Our son just got a new apartment in Hoboken,NJ. Do not buy from this company they are shady. I bought a sleeper sofa from them on Januar 4 was told by the sales person that I would have it on January 6. Wow that is quick and awesome. January 4 vomes have not heard anything, called them eas told oh it is on back order will deliver on January 17. Get a call from them on January 14 it is still on back order don't know when it will be delivered. I told them to cancel the order and refund me. BUYER BEWARE! We had a bed frame snap in half on us at 3 am because their delivery team did not bother screwing the frame together AND the hardware wasn't even delivered. Upon going to the store the General Manager is too busy to care about the safety of his customers and the manager evidently has no authority to do anything. Due to their "process" they won't even take the broken bed frame on the truck coming to our house today. The gross negligence of this company is unreal. If I could giveva ZERO rating I would. I recently bought a 4 piece patio set. When I ordered, I was told I could get it with blue cushions. Long story short, the store/salesperson changed the manufacturer of the furniture to get the blue cushions, and sent the wrong/different furniture. I went into the store and pointed out to the manager what I ordered and what I got. He realized the "mistake" but could offer me a 10% discount or choose something else. I don't want another set, it's not in my chosen colors/style, nor does it match the rug I purchased for the area. I asked numerous times (about 10 by phone, in person and email) for them to pick up their furniture. They told me they'd check "with their team and get back to me within 72 hours". Not one person got back to me. I contacted my credit card company and refuted the charges. THEN, someone called me. I explained the entire saga again, not my mistake-theirs. I included that the credit card company found the claim to be in my favor and had refunded my money. I generous offered for them to pick up their unwanted furniture. Again, told no, so now I own furniture for free. Not sure how they can stay in business with this kind of customer service! I'll never be a customer there again! read more

If you are headed to this store turn around right now!! You would be better off going to a junk yard. We purchased a couch from here within 30 days two PLASTIC legs broke and the couch had color stains and fuzz balls all over it we called thinking it wasn't going to be a problem because we purchased the warranty but boy was I wrong! The first warranty guy that showed up told me not to wear jeans on the couch (I'm not kidding) that rough material was what was causing the fuzz balls and discoloration (not the crap material of course) and when I asked him what could be done about us sinking into the middle of the couch he suggested we only sit on the ends it was a complete joke after strong arming this guy into fixing anything he said he would replace the cushions and gave me a number to call to try and get new legs. Well the number he gave me was a dead end couldn't get anyone to answer the only good thing that came from this was two couch cushions delivered to my front door in the rain I was nervous to open them because I didn't know if the rain damaged them at all so I called and told them they got delivered. The first question they asked me was if I opened the cushions I told them no because I was worried the rain ruined them She said "good because that would have voided your warranty" these people tried to set me up for failure I was never told that. Well a billion more phone calls and I'm in the same situation with two unopened replacement cushions sitting in my livingroom because I'm terrified to open them. Glad I didn't hold my breath. They place zero value on your time and only try to placate or stonewall you into submission. Customer service and delivery services are outsourced. Customer service works from home with TVs blasting in the background. Deliver service did not speak English and required me to make the claim of obviously damaged and repaired furniture. What is going on at this store. We tried calling the store yesterday using the local number of 321-733-2150 to check on the status of our order (note, image call wait time). The automated system placed us in an indefnite wait for customer assistance. We waited so long we decided to drive over to the store while remaining on a delayed automated hold. As I entered the store, the store looked empty of customers, there were 3 sales personnel standing there waiting to assist customers. I proceeded to customer service where there were 3 additional staff members waiting to assist customers. I shared with the clerk my phone reflecting the wait time. She claimed her phone wasn't ringing. Imagine the local store losing revenue possibly by turning down the phone ringer volume or forwarding calls to the corporate phone number 1-800-477-0097 only to avoid providing service to customers. I am sure we were not the only customers frustrated with this lack of service on this day of 5 Jul 2022. You would think the LOCAL store would want to fully utilize their staff to assist customers in person or by phone. I sure do hope this store can get a handle on this concern soon. Back on March 18th 2021 I was in desperate need of a bedroom suite, I had one on order at RTG but they couldn't get it to me till mid July, so I set out to find somewhere else that could get it quicker (I sold my old bedroom suite already) anyhow went to Ashley's and they said " oh we can have it here end of April, so I cancel my order at RTG and ordered from Ashley's, while there we also purchased a dining room suite as well, we got the dining room suite the following week with no problem! Fast forward to May, never got a call for delivery so I call to see what's the hold up, was told it would be here next week and as soon as it got there they would call for a delivery date...again fast forward to June, same thing....next week blah blah blah....again no call...now we go into July...same thing, now I'm pissed and go to the store, manager ASSURES me it is in the warehouse and they will deliver on Tuesday...Tuesday came and went...no call...Now it's August and I have been hounding them every other day, management tells my husband that the warehouse damaged the dresser and now it's on back order and they don't show a delivery date for the nightstands (2) , I MADE them bring me my bed since it actually came in in August, now they are telling me that my bedroom suite is "discontinued" and they are not able to get the dresser and nightstands so I tell them they need to come get the bed since They cannot get my dresser and nightstands that I ordered as a SET they had the NERVE to say "oh we can't take it back it's been over 72 hrs ‍ WTF is wrong with people?!?!? Buyer Beware should be posted outside of this store and ZERO stars. We agreed to purchase a Love Seat and Sofa from Ashley Furniture on 2/25/21. We said we wanted them delivered together or no deal. Initially the sales rep said the love seat was not available, then he said it was "see our stock is always getting updated". Both were to be delivered Tuesday March 2nd. When the delivery guys showed up they only had the couch on the truck and stated the LoveSeat would be delivered on Friday 3/5 so we took delivery, which is the start of their bait and switch techniques. Then another call stated not deliverable until 3/18, then another call moving it to 3/26. On 3/4 we drove to the store to cancel the order and ask them to pick up their sofa. We had a couple of calls from their call center where they acted like they could not hear us, and said they would call back, THEY NEVER CALLED BACK. Last week (3/8/21) my husband spoke to someone in Corporate that said they would authorize the return. Upon calling the store today, I was told I had to call Corporate, upon calling Corporate they told me ONLY THE STORE CAN AUTHORIZE RETURNS and the store is who canceled the pickup. Went to the store on 1/4/2025 to look at recliners. Kim was very helpful. We then decided to look at beds. Kim seemed pretty knowledgeable about these too. We decided to purchase an $8000+ bed. We then set up delivery for 1/11. We received the standard email telling us to be sure the area was free of any existing furniture. Our bulk garbage pick up day is Friday. We made sure everything was out of the way and the old mattress was out to the trash. Even moved all our vehicles out of the driveway as to not be in the way. Saturday comes and the delivery arrived. They started unloading our pieces and setting them on the driveway and my entrance sidewalk. They then came to my door and informed me they did not have the base to my bed! NO ONE called in advance to let us know this. I now have no place to sleep. I called the store, I am told the sales staff has no way to know if they have the pieces I ordered when making the sale! How do you sell something that you don't know if you have them in stock? Is that even legal? I should have been told it would not be available BEFORE I threw out my old bed. It was left to the delivery people to tell me while they were delivering the rest of my items. We immediately called the store. They cannot do anything until the truck has checked in at the end of their day! Why? They can clearly see I did not get the base, even told me they could see that. They do nothing extra to make it right. Now I am waiting until Wednesday or Friday before I can sleep in a bed! I have tried contacting my salesperson but she has yet to call or text me back. There are no managers available to talk to until Tuesday! Pamela has been pretty nice to deal with, considering the reviews I'm sure she has had to deal with many unhappy customers. Unfortunately, she is only able to say she is sorry and offered a $100 refund on $9600+ sale. I feel these practices are unethical. Selling items you don't have, no way for sales people to know if they are selling you something that is not available for your delivery date, no followup before you move and/or remove your old furniture for your delivery. I have done everything right up to and including picking up the garbage left in my driveway from the delivery. Now I wait, with no place to sleep, to see when the rest of my bed will be delivered. I sure hope nothing is wrong with my items or if I need to exchange the mattress (I was told I have 90 days to do this) because I have read other reviews regarding issues with getting things corrected from unsatisfactory items. After finally being able to get a tec. out the store calls me tells me had sofa 6 months and that happens. It started at around 2 months but thought I would live with it but it got so bad I called. Possibly the worst experience I've ever encountered in a business. I purchased my furniture a year ago and have had issues since day one. Stand by this will be long and very informative. After spending several thousands of dollars here I received my furniture at home. This is when the experience became the worst ever. Upon receipt of furniture I noticed there were things wrong with my couch set. But it's okay I got the warranty that the sells peoples pushed as a great to protect my purchase. Completely false the outlets on my powered couches were faulty. I called it in per the warranty 2 techs came out and they are still broken. I have spent hours on hold and hour's trying to get help. Still nothing. What did I even purchase the warranty for?? It's useless. I should have paid attention to the warnings signs of the dirty store - stains on the carpets and dirty floors. Clearly the employees and management take no pride in their store. I purchased a sofa, loveseat and end table, and paid extra money for a prime account so that I wouldn't have to assemble anything. A third party moving company delivered the items including the end table labeled "customer assembly". The end table was also damaged. These issues were brought to Ashley management, and their resolution was to send a technician, several weeks later, to repair the damaged table corner. I paid for a new table and Ashley is content with providing damaged/repaired product. My prime account that I paid for so as to not assemble anything? Well, the salesman forgot to have me sign an acknowledgment form that I'd have to assemble the end table. Their error, and I'm held responsible and wasted money on a prime account that failed to be of any value. Had a great experience in store looking around and trying different sofas and sectionals. Regularly checked in on, but not pestered. We have a smaller space and found that one of the sectionals we liked in-store had a smaller option online. Called the store a bit later, they were especially busy with labor day sale customers but after a little hold - sales associate Kimberley was great answering my questions on delivery and let me know they even price-match delivery to their website, etc. Called back later to actually purchase the couch and Kimberley remembered me, I was sent a link to pay in my email, overall very easy process. Sales guy assured us there were multiple in stock and it would be delivered on 1/18. It's now 2/6 and we had to call for an update (since they don't like to send emails) only for them to tell us it would be delivered in JUNE. We canceled the order. This is after we bought a bed set at city that again they said was in stock. When it was delivered it didn't have any of the nuts and bolts to put it together. Waited another 2 weeks for them to redeliver a NEW set, again not nuts and bolts. Turns out they just delivered the same set because it was the only one in stock. My family and I recently moved to Rockledge, and needed to furnish our home! We went to several different furniture stores in the area, and even dabbled with a few online. NO ONE came even close to meeting our expectations in terms of quality and price. However, our interactions with Gabby (Manager) and Rick (Salesman), blew us away. They exceeded our expectations. We went back twice and each time, we stayed till 8-8:30 pm because they wanted to make sure we were happy and that we got the best deal possible. To say they went above and beyond for us is a tremendous understatement. We are truly grateful for everything they have done for us. We are definitely going to be customers for life.
