I only visit here occasionally, but each time has been a pleasant experience, and I've never left empty-handed yet. The staff here are very friendly and welcoming. I had great honest service from Debbie in the melbourne showroom, it was very helpful and low…read morepressure. The furniture there is great in my opinion. It's not extravagantly expensive like ethan allen but it is also much higher quality than a lot of the other big box or other chain stores like roomstogo. We went to several stores before havertys and we are glad we ended the day with such superior service. I got the Ashbrooke bedroom set and a new mattress and boxspring. it's beautifuland timeless. 8 months later the furniture has held up beautifully. I would suggest there were only two downsides to whole experience. The most significant downside was that I did NOT find the customer service of their financing company Synchrony bank was anywhere NEAR the caliber of their own business service. I had a lot of trouble receiving my bills from them on time. I called havertys to tell them about my experience and they werwe able to give me a better phone number for direct service which helped (still, Synchrony just did not seem to get their stuff together for me to open an online account and I had to pay by phone once a month without a courtesy email reminder for pay, I set the due dates in my phone) The only other minor downside that can't be helped is that I live in Gainesville so delivery was the only option and the delivery cost is fixed ($150 as of July 2015), so ordering a nightstand alone would probably be a poor situation, but a whole room of furniture would obviously be worth it. The delivery to Gainesville is only once a week and a 6 hour window, which would suck considering that's basically a half to whole day to take off from work, but they DO have a great texting and tracking service so I was fortunate enough to have a flex schedule and leave work when they were a half an hour away by text notification. Another thing that happened was that the standard boxspring was WAY higher than I expected but I called and they swapped the boxspring out the following week for the low profile one I saw in the store free of charge. I will make more purchases from Havertys.

We will only buy from Suzanne in Melbourne. I needed to update this review, if Suzanne is still there, she is great! The issue that we have are with the extended Furniture Protection Company that they sell. "Guardsmen" is terrible at service when you need them. For what you pay for this protection and the level of service that they provide is terrible. In my opinion, I would not recommend this addition cost. I have been waiting for three months now to get someone to come out to the house to order a $25.00 part and then we have to wait even more for the part. Meanwhile you can not use the recliner on a very expensive leather couch. Guardsmen farms it out to a third party and they suck, in my opinion!!!

Most items are very reasonably priced and there are little treasures, especially jewelry, but also ceramics, art, and a bit of everything in a small back room, from furniture to chess pieces. Don't miss her unique collection of art painted (gouache) on papyrus. Mervat will even sign or paint your name in hieroglyphics, free or for a small fee! This is not a run of the mill antique but an experience in its own right. Check it out! I hope they make it, because mall rent is steep and I'm already a fan after one visit. I will be back very soon. Congratulations, Mervat, on this terrific concept and cozy space! Best of luck!

The issue was that the recliner was not available for delivery for several days. The salesman, Wilson Blue, checked with his manager to see if he could sell the floor model, so my dad could get the recliner sooner. Initially, the manager said no. After hearing about the issues he was having, after his surgery, having to sleep in his uncomfortable recliner. The manager took pity on my dad, and arranged for the floor model to be delivered, by a third party. Long story short, my dad is enjoying his new recliner, five days earlier than initially expected. NONE of this garbage lmade it to 5 years! I have no kids, no pets, and I live alone. The leather is Pleather, fake, and it peeled like sunburn on top of every cushion, I now cover it with a quilt. The recliners broke (electric) and also was a pleather product that failed in 3 years, those I actually sat on. The desk fell apart in 2 years, threw that in the garage as a work bench. The beds held up the longest, but I paid over $3,000 for it, you'd expect it to last. My cheap $500 BJ's mattress is just as comfortable and was a fraction of the price. DO NOT BUY THIS STORES JUNK. I still have the nightstands, they hold up a lamp and manage the task, but if I actually used the drawer on a regular daily basis, it too would fail. I thought Kanes was a step above Rooms to Go, which the salesman said was junk, but no, they're right on par with "college dorm" quality found at any chain. I tried Hagerty's across the street and bought a dining room set. It's heavily used, I sit in the kitchen the most, serve guests, and do my business on that table, so it's worn but it served its purpose. I'll go back to Hagerty, I'll never step foot in Kanes even if it was a $10 day any piece. Photo doesn't lie. AC home, how the hell does a synthetic product fail so fast? Same crap material as you'd find on an Amazon office chair, but those are $150, not $3,200!
