Was one of the worst furniture stores I have ever dealt with period. They don't know what the left hand is doing and I really think they do not even know if they have a right hand. Delivery man told me that he has been delivering their furniture for a number of years and he stated in that time not once has he not had to bring back furniture because it was ordered wrong. My experience was two bedroom sets and I tried to order in plenty of time. I was having floors done over and other work so I ordered over a month in advance and they still got it wrong and now I am waiting for my fiance's dresser, mirror and bed side table because they could not figure anything out. My husband and I just moved to Florida. We needed a sofa as soon as possible. We contacted Ashley's to see if they had a specific style of sofa in stock. Jordan took our call and was extremely helpful. He even texted me pics of sofas. We went to the store the next day, met Jordan and found the sofa we wanted. Plus some dining chairs. He was awesome! Very knowledgeable and low pressure. We felt we got a great deal and happy with our selection. The next day, my husband and I realized we needed to change the sofa configuration. I'm very disappointed and dissatisfied. While I do like the sales in store, that's where it ends. Upon delivery of the Brossling Dining Room Hutch I ordered the delivery guy noticed one of the boxes was damaged. It happened to be the bottom of the hutch so he called customer care and put the hutch back up in the truck to take it back however left the top hutch in the box sitting in my dining area. When I asked if he wanted to take all of it back he said no they only take the damaged part back the good part would be assembled when the replacement bottom was received. Three weeks later I received the replacement bottom of the hutch but the delivery guy informed me that he wasn't able to put the top of the hutch together and they would need to send a technician out to put it together. I noticed one of the baskets was different from the rest of the baskets and that it was damaged, along with one of the drawers that scraped when he opened it so I asked for that to be replaced or repaired also. They told me the technician will take care of all of that. When the technician arrived the following day he informed me that the box had been opened and he wasn't able to validate if everything inside the box was good and he therefore wasn't going to be able to put the top of the hutch together, additionally he was only able to put together items with six or less screws. After calling customer service he told me that I would be hearing from customer service and he would be back after his next call once I heard back from customer service. I never got a call from customer service and nobody ever showed back up, so I called customer care the following day and spent 30 minutes waiting for somebody to answer the call only to be told they couldn't help me, and I would need to call the home office for refund. The home office was very unconcerned as well with my dissatisfaction. I'm certain I will not be going back. It should also be noted that I also placed the above on the Ashley website for the product I ordered and they sent an email saying they couldn't submit my review because it mentions customer service. read more

****Warning!!!!! Don't not buy anything for Ashley's furniture. I purchased a king sleigh bed late August of 2020. When the product was delivered a 3rd party delivery company dropped it off. When I inspected it I noticed the footboard was damaged and the sides were a grey dirty color compared to the rest of the bed being white. I immediately asked them to take the product back and the delivery men said all they do is drop it off and I would have to call customer service. They stated they will never reload product onto their truck. I immediately called customer service and started a case to get this resolved. The lady said they should have taken the product back and she called the truck driver minutes after they left my house and they refused to turn around. My case was started and they said a technician would come out next week to repair/paint the bed white that was grey. I called back the next day to confirm all this and the lady said she had no record of my case. I then had to call the sales rep I used in store and they had to start me another case. They assured me everything would be handled. They text me and I sent pictures of the footboard to them. 2 days after I got a call from customer service stating they agreed the sides were discolored and damaged and would be sending me replacements in the mail. I received a package in the mail of one bed leg (a 5$ part) I called back and stated they sent me the wrong part of the footboard. I literally spent hours on hold then hours calling and explaining this to customer services reps. Once they realized my entire footboard needed to be replaced and they couldn't swap a 5$ piece out they tried to deny my exchange over and over. They always stated a answer would be give in 48hrs but then you have to call and follow up and then there's no updates. Finally after hours literally at least 5-10 hours on the phone (I need to add up my cell phone bill) they agreed to exchange my footboard. Then this week when it arrived the footboard was delivered off the truck wrapped in a moving blanket (not new) damaged/used/ wood was misaligned and incorrect again. I refused the delivery. I have taken time off work for these deliveries and hours on the phone for poor quality product. Now I am filing consumers complaints with the attorney general. Better business bureau, disputing my credit card until they authorize a full refund and come pick up their damaged product. I also found this Facebook group after searching online to see if their were other customer complaints like mine and I found this group. You will be blown away by how many people are unfairly treated by this company with their poor product and shady business practices. I purchased 2 counter chairs from the Ashley Furniture Home Store on W New Haven Ave, Melbourne, FL., when the chairs were delivered the delivery men uncovered the chairs and asked me to check them for damage and when I accepted delivery they left. When my husband and I sat on the chairs we discovered they were not stable on the carpeted floor they were on . Also, we found that if you moved one way or the other you felt as though they would tip over. I made several calls to both the store and Ashley corporate and guess what? Both numbers go to the same voice mail service, only to hear "due to Covid they are experiencing higher than normal call volume", one could wait for someone to answer or leave a message and someone will get back to you in 24-48 hours. The trouble is if you are not waiting by your phone when they call, they leave a message to call back and the circle starts again. I wrapped the chairs up and went back to the store only to be told that once items are delivered in home they cannot be returned. The semi courteous customer care rep., said "Our return policy is on the back of the sales receipt", That it is in print so small you need a magnifying glass to read it and who does that at the time of sale.(a lawyer maybe). The return policy states "AFHS" reserves the right to refuse the returns where (i)the merchandise is not damaged/defective, or (ii)the merchandise shows evidence of customer misuse, etc." This policy is open to interpretation. I purchased a sleeper sofa from Ashley and I was very happy with the salesperson and the sofa, so I returned to this store because of the service I received. This new purchase was not a very big one but, based on other reviews that doesn't seem to matter. I would think that in the interest of customer satisfaction with the product and customer service, Ashley should re-read their vague return policy. I visited the Ashley store to purchase a bedroom suit and mattress. The salesman, Tom was helpful in answering my questions and giving me time to try all mattresses out. Anything to make a sale. After making my decision he was quick to write everything up and schedule the delivery. The furniture was delivered by 2 men who spoke very broken English. They insisted the bed frame was not there and I would need to schedule another day for delivery and set up. After opening all the boxes it was determined that it was indeed there and they completed the set up. Everything was there but the mattress protector. I asked the men if it was on the truck and they said it wasnt. I called the store to talk to Tom and was told he was not working but would be in the following day. I called then and spoke with him about the protector not being delivered. He proceeded to tell me I didn't order one and the mattress warranty was null and void. I reminded him of our conversation about the mattress protector and how I was to call the company when I got it and order 2 more because it came with that. He agreed that was correct and told me he would talk to the manager and call me back. No call back that day or the next. So I called him back and asked what he found out. He said I couldn't do anything about it per the manager because I didn't order the protector. I asked to speak with the manager but he was busy and would call me back. That was 3 weeks ago and I called 2 more times to the store and requested he call me back. i assume they are done with me because the sale was made. I would not recommend purchasing from them. My wife and I purchased 11k of furniture and was charged a $450 delivery fee. Fine. I wasn't moving that much furniture myself. It took 6 deliveries to get everything. Add in the fact one delivery crew broke my storm door and bedroom light fixture and not as much as a return phone call to get them fixed. There were missing parts, such as feet for the sofa and bed rails so the beds could not be put together. A lot of furniture comes unassembled and you have to deal with the packing materials and trash. If there is an issue, they will send you parts but someone to fix it will be weeks. Save yourself some time and money and just get IKEA or Walmart. Service and quality would be the same and the delivery guys won't break your stuff or forget the parts to put it together. read more

BUYER BEWARE We recently moved and furnished our entire house with furniture from Ashley. Unfortunately, my Realyn Dining Extension table, Monaghan sofa, and Stelsie dresser drawers all arrived with issues. The table had holes in it. The sofa also had a hole. The dresser drawers all arrived with scratches. I started the process to replace them and was given the run around from day 1. For the inconvenience, I requested that the pieces be replaced, as well as a refund be issued for my troubles. It was never agreed that accepting a refund would make up for the furniture issues & have this issue be put to rest. In fact, they did re-deliver while the refund was requested. But the furniture arrived AGAIN with defects. The delivery drivers wouldn't even take the couch off the truck because it had an oil stain on it. To add insult to injury, the new table came cracked and with black airbrush in areas where the white appears. Again, I reached out right away to have the table and couch replaced. The replacement drawers also had scratches. But because we were tired of going on over a month of living out of boxes, I agreed to take additional compensation JUST TO KEEP THE DRESSER DRAWERS. We're going on over 2 months and no follow-up has come with regard to me receiving a new couch or table. All correspondence has been initiated by me. So, I continued to email and call. Today, January 11th, 2023, they replied and said that they will not replace the table or the couch. They are trying to count the compensation I received for my inconvenience as "appeasement" for the issues. Thankfully, I saved every email so my argument that I did not agree to that is documented. But it has been hell trying to get the furniture in good condition. Once you walk out the door of the furniture store, good luck getting your issues rectified. read more

although Justin in theAshley Sebring store was very helpful the delivery team was lousy in the delivery of our couch. We just bought the house and the week before delivery had new wood floors put in. I told them when they arrived of the situation and we cannot slide anything across the floor, has to be carried so as not too scatch the floor. They came in looked where the couch would go and then pushed a TV cabinet across the floor like he didnt care and it was not in the way. Now im pissed!!! So when the couch came to the house it was on a dolly so wasnt concerned till they took it off the dolly,slide it on the concrete entry to the house picked it up then once in the house put it down on the wood floor, not the carpet that was there and spun it thus scatching the new wood floors . We are still waiting for compensation since July 19th and have sent various pictures. Ashley wants to send some HANDYMAN--YEAH OK--NOT!!!! We just want the money from the estimate to have the company who installed the floors to come and fix it and Ashley is dragging there feet. Be very aware of the ASHLEY DILIVERY DUDES! Horrible!! If I could give zero stars I would. We ordered a storage beg for my son. When they delivered the bed, four of the first five pieces brought into my house, were damaged. We refused delivery and the driver said the store would contact us later that day. We were contacted the next day by Ashley Furniture. At this point we were told we would be put on the VIP list. (Why aren't all customers considered VIPs from the beginning?) They said a new bed, which would be thoroughly inspected before delivery, would be sent to us on Sunday June 6th. One week later. Fine. We received a call the Thursday prior to the 6th, explaining that the bed would be here between 8:30am and 12:30pm on Sunday. Once 1pm rolled around with no delivery, I called the store and was informed that our bed has been put on back order until June 18th. NO CALL OR MESSAGE EXPLAINING THE DELAY! We have now wasted half a Saturday and half a Sunday waiting for this delivery. I told the customer service rep that I am extremely unhappy and want to cancel my order. She did so while making no attempt to keep my business or trying to resolve my issues. I will tell anyone who asks, that this is a terrible store with abysmal customer service!!! read more

I had to wait over 30 days for chairs. They delivered the table and then told me the chairs are on back order, so i wait 2 weeks for another delivery, delivery driver shows up with only 2 chairs...now I have to wait another 2 weeks for the remaining two chairs. But now I've lost 3 days of work. 3. I have called multiple times regarding my order and have been told they will call me back, but days go by with no call. When I call them they say the manager will call back in a few days... Overall, the salesperson was pleasant and helpful, but overall the company is dropping the ball. I purchased a table chairs and an island. All shipped separately all came in broken. To top it off they delivered the wrong chairs and when trying to replace them they sent out two trucks two separate times with the wrong chairs both! They have NO communication between their store and there warehouse, NONE ZERO. I've gone into the store and they still can't get it right! The delivery men speak no English and customer care can't do anything without calling the store so here I am STILL waiting after weeks for the correct thing that's not broken. Get pieces delivered but it's the wrong insert. Reorder. Day of second delivery I see that they are sending wrong insert. They reschedule again. My wife and I just recently spent about $2600.00 to purchase new furniture from Ashley Homestore. We we had a delivery scheduled for a Friday afternoon and we were told our delivery would occur between 3pm - 7pm. After about 5pm, I called the number that was included in the text, which the warehouse dispatcher advised me of our estimated delivery time. The dispatcher told me that the delivery was running behind and would arrive around 7:45pm. I asked why I wasn't updated about the delivery running late. The dispatcher agreed that I should have been called. I asked to speak with a manager and was put on hold for about 10 minutes. I hung up and called again and spoke with another warehouse employee. She attempted to give me the run around and I finally told her to get me a manager. The warehouse manager was absolutely useless and said were were delivery number 13 of 15. When the delivery showed up, my wife was told we were the final delivery. As a final insult from Ashley's, a new coffee table was part of our purchase. The table needed to be assembled. We paid for premium delivery, which meant the table should have been assembled. Ashley furniture dropped the ball on every possible aspect of the service, or lack of for a better word, they provided after the sale. I will never purchase another piece of furniture from Ashley furniture again and I would advise people of the term, Caveat Emptor, which means buyer beware. read more
