Hello, I am a student at Texas Tech University that applied to work at this location . After reviewing my application and deeming my qualifications up to standards , one of the managers texted me from their personal cell phone number asking me to *send in a video* describing where i'm from and background swell as future aspirations . This was a red flag to me because I had never been asked to submit a video by any company that I've ever applied to . After sending in the video describing myself I was told that I would receive an email shortly that would describe further steps in the application process . After 3 days had passed and I still had not received the email I began to wonder , so I texted in to figure out what the hold up was . The manager then said "the email had been sent out at 10:52 PM on Friday" . I checked all my folders in my email to no avail . When I texted the number to ask for them to resend the email there was no response . Then when I asked again still no response . I am an african american male and I tried to not think the worst , but it seemed as though they asked me for a video specifically to see what race I was . We bought several things from the store in Amarillo. We have gotten the run around when it came to the last thing being delivered. First it was in July, then August and so on. We finally got ahold of someone named Desiree who stated that it would be delivered to their facility (Lubbock) last Friday and that it could be delivered to my house this past Sunday. Well Sunday the delivery driver called and said he had to go pick it up from the Amarillo store OFF THE SHOWROOM FLOOR! I paid full price for a brand new chair and that is what I expect to get! When I called today to ask about it they said it wouldn't be until September 18th and at that point they couldn't even guarantee it then could be October. I am truly blown away. Now they're saying that they have to approve my request for a full refund. I would not recommend buying anything from these stores. New house...new furniture right? Go to Ashley Home Store they said, great staff great deals?! Well, I can agree on the great deals, but the staff? Maybe "our" sales guy was to eager to close a deal, I'm not sure. We loved this dinning set and according to Ryan we could have guaranteed by 10/19,ok but when I asked him for his signature ( just like I had to sign the purchasing contract) he refused saying he will not have to sign, according to our contract Ashley has 6 weeks to deliver! Well what now? He went back and forth and finally signed not before saying, I can only talk to him because no other person will know us from Tom, Dick or Harry?! When I asked him for a copy, he flat out told me to take a picture! I told I don't like his sudden change in attitude and turned towards my husband, as I turned he told some assistant "tear up the contract, we don't need this"!!! No way...no more! My daughter needed some furniture for her apartment in Lubbock. We live close to DFW area so we picked the furniture out at an Ashley's in Ft. Worth and the ordered the items with the Lubbock store. The store was good about contacting us about delivery date and time. The delivery guys were great in confirming the order before they unloaded. One piece was had wanted was a sleeper sofa, but instead we had ordered a sofa by mistake. They put us in touch with the store and we made the arrangements for ordering the sleeper. They set up quickly and were polite. The store has ordered our sleeper and gave us an approximate date for shipment and delivery. My son bought a mattress from this store about a month earlier and was please with how the store worked with him on delivery and set up. They have a nice selection of furniture and good prices. read more

I bought a sectional at the Ashley Homestore in Lubbock, TX on March 22, 2021. It has been 14 weeks and I still have not received my sectional, nor have I gotten a phone call attempting to arrange delivery. I have talked to two of the parent companies that run this furniture store and been given the run around. No one seems to know who controls the store here, or seems capable of dealing with a franchisee who is using their corporate name. I received a message on here from someone who seemed willing to help, but that person has been ghosting me for the past two weeks. Seems no one wants to provide service or help a customer--who could have been a returning customer--receive satisfaction. All I want is delivery of my purchase. Is that so much to ask? read more

My husband and I recently bought furniture from this establishment. Our service was amazing and the lady who helped us did everything she could to help us pick out or dream furniture. The delivery was taken care of in a timely manner. We ordered a princess bed for a surprise birthday gift for our daughter. When our furniture was delivered I noticed the bed was wrong and let the gentlemen know. They loaded it back up and let the customer service lady know. They fixed the mistake and ordered us the correct bed. It was delivered within the next week. We are very satisfied with our purchase and can't wait to go back and buy more wonderful items in the future!!! read more

Return policy sucks, even if you follow their 72hr return policy. I will never shop here again. y'all might want to look at Yelp reviews and the countless number of BBB, Better Business Bureau complaints. it's a lot of current and past complaints. Buyer Beware... If they will rip off a Disabled Veteran they will rip anyone off. This organization needs to be investigated after seeing so many complaints. I dropped my damaged furniture at their door @ 5026 Frankfort Ave, Lubbock, TX 79424. I Let them know how customer service is treating me and left furniture in store. I have had a bad experience with Ashley Furniture before but I decided to give them a second chance. I needed a table for the holidays as I was hosting my first family holiday. I went in and spoke with Manuel, my sales rep. He was able to get me a great deal on a table, finance it, and get it ordered. It was not going to be here by the holidays, so Manuel spoke with his supervisor and allowed me to use a floor model to host my family dinner. They definitely went over the top and completely restored my faith. I will ONLY use them for my furniture needs from now on! read more

If I could give a negative I would . Do not do not do not buy anything from this store . Their customer service is terrible and their communication with customers is awful. 3 months and still waiting for our order. And no don't blame Covid ! Many other companies have been able to step up and work around Covid. Ashley failed ! The local store is not corporate owned it's a franchise so there is no corporate accountably. They do what ever they want how ever they want . You give them money and you might get you order..... someday !! read more

The president, Jessica, was walking the floor and realized this, so she helped my friend get the discount early! I ordered my furniture months ago. We have gone in their 5 times and they have been so rude every single time. The platinum blonde headed manager in there "Edgar" who refused to give me his last name wore bedazzled Mickey Mouse shoes and was so disrespectful today. We still have no furniture and I was made to leave the store. I am livid. DO NOT BUY FURNITURE FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE BECAUSE YOU WILL NOT GET IT!!! My husband and I have ordered numerous pieces from Ashley furniture and we have recieved great service as well as great products. Our living room sectional is about 3 years old and still looks brand new. Our newest furniture is our bedroom set, Curley worked with us to get us a great deal and it was delivered in about a week. We especially appreciated that they delivered on Saturday so we wouldn't have to take a day off from work! read more

First he agreed and when I asked for a copy he refused and told me to take a picture. I went talk to my husband and he told the assistant to tear up the contract! My Husband and I bought a sofa sleeper and Loveseat right before Christmas. We were not sure if we would get it back in time for Christmas. I recently purchased furniture from Ashley furniture. The sales lady Rachel was very, very helpful. She was very polite and really worked to make sure I was completely satisfied. We ordered a leather sofa and love seat. When we were unable to take delivery immediately due to flooring problems, they kept the items in their store room. Unfortunately, it was damaged while in storage. The items were reordered and they also provided an ottoman at reduced price. Service was superb in the store. read more
